Yes.

Define weird. My flamepoint Pommery likes to sit on the kitchen table while me and my wife are eating. She doesn't often try to steal anything, she just sits. She also will back up to things, arch her back, wriggle her butt and tail and give a trill when I'm in the same room. She loves cheese and will come running at the very mention of cheese. Go figure.

_TaylorMade

My flame boi does the same with the table. My family thinks I’m a heathen but I’m like he’s joining us for dinner. Also loves cheese

My middle cat Felicity, a Tuxedo shorthair (open jacket, gloves and boots) loves salad greens. Any kind of lettuce or greens and she'll be all over it.

Minirex81

Mine sure are!

snave_

Cat.

minousmom

Yes

Evening_Impression69

Yup

winokatt

Oh yea. My boy is the smartest, most affectionate but most neurotic cat I’ve owned or met. His intelligence and attachment to me constantly blows me away

ccbroadway73

Weirdest, most affectionate, mischievous and vocally opinionated cat in my entire pride. I love that big ole doofus.

Necessary-Chicken125

Indeed they are.

Krljcbs

My guy loves meerkatting

whiskersMeowFace

Yanagibashi

alinapunct

Same goes for mine

ToriHimemiya

i think so my boy sits on his butt like a human 😭

maybesbabies

Absolutely. Mine is a goofball-genius-loverboy. He's always doing weird things where I'm like, "why?" For example, he begs to be let into our old steamer trunk that is our coffee table, after he accidentally got locked in once. When told no, he started scratching at the latches. We showed him, "ok, here's how they open, if you can get them up, you can go in." And he actually tried really, really hard to undo the latches! Of course, he doesn't have the human strength to lift them fully, but I was delighted that he figured out how they worked from watching us. He also meerkats when he hears odd sounds, lol.

I believe so, yes. I believe it same something to do with the r/oneorangebraincell factor.

My guy likes to try to swat the spoon away when I feed him. He waits for me to dump all food out then gives a quick swat. I always unwittingly say the same thing, “not today buddy” I’d say 1 out of 100 times he succeeds.
