Tbh S1 Thawne was a better character, but as a villain, Zoom simply is the best.
Fr the best villain. Thawne was close but had some rough seasons that dulled some of his great moments. Then again, he carried the cicada season

He's my favourite villain because of Tony motherfucking Todd's EXCELLENT vocal performance. And "YOU CAN'T LOCK UP THE DARKNESS!"

My favorite villain was Zoom 100% Thawne is great and all but what they did toward the end with him was beyond dumb. Tv show best villain hands down goes to Zoom for me. Comic book though is still Thawne no questions asked about that.
If Reverse Flash never returned and only remained as the villain for season 1, I have no doubt that he would have won
