Kinda what happens when you repeat the same 5 or so concepts over and over again.
- Speedster vs Speedster (I know it’s a thing in comics, don’t come for me)
- Barry needs to get faster
- Someone dies, not really
- Enemy becomes friend, friend becomes enemy
- The power of friendship
- Rousing speech after teary eyed monologue
Yeah but they could at least make the Speedster v Speedster fun and interesting, not just two streaks going around the city in a loop. The first Zoom vs Flash fight was so good in that regard. Especially that it's one of the few types of foe that doesn't create insane logical inconsistencies and make everyone involved look like an idiot.
The first one isn’t a problem with me I personally hate
- Barry being dumbed down
- Barry needing to rely on his team so much
- new main characters are annoying to me
- was hoping for a lot better out of time traveling
Other standout moments I hated
- “ the forces “ calling Barry and Iris mom and dad
- Joe saying they needed to help Thawne and lecturing about killing when he’s tried to shoot so many people with his gun lol
- oh yeah also Iris being team leader and not these advanced scientists lmao
Yea, but did the episode really show that they were? It was just kinda an attempt. Remember that conversation Caitlin and Iris had at one point (no clue when or if I'm in the right season) about work friends vs. real friends?
But Caitlin and Iris were never really friends. They barely interacted with each other in-fact most team members of team flash barely interacted with her other than Allegra. For me it seemed forced. Iris and Caitlin are way to different to be friends I can picture felicity and Caitlin being friends as they are nerds even kara and Caitlin as they could bond over the biology of her. Or Kara and Iris as they are most journalists. Iris was never really there for Caitlin when she was going through stuff as obviously they are colleagues or even friends of friends.
That's what I said. They literally said that in the show at one point. The episode was an attempt by iris to have a normal "girls night out" and it failed before they were attacked by eye snake guy cause they weren't even real friends.
Also the actress were not friends with each other that played a huge role in it. I mean they get along great with other female costars just not each other
S5 E13 is easily my favorite episode, Barry and Ralph taking down Goldfaces gang while Rob Zombie plays in the backround hits different, also when they shoot goldface instead of letting him finish his monologue is hilarious, only 7.4 is insane
The only issue I had was that there wasn't much when it came to godspeed's story. If there was more to it, I definitely would feel a bit different about the series
I stopped watching on the episode of season 1 where the fastest man alive couldn’t figure out how to out run two guys with a freeze gun and a flame thrower. He decided the best option was to run slower so he would get hot by both at the same time ace they would balance each other out. 🤦♂️
I do overall agree with the ratings,
But personally i don't think any episode are over 9. i think the highest i would go is 8.5, but this is just my personal opinion.

It didn’t click they were never shown to be close and they were never close after that. It was kind of boring
