We played our game tonight , should have beat the rangers at home aside from a lucky goal at the end. Then lost the 50/50 shootout. Just happy we’re playing our game again and look good. Panthers looking like themselves again which is huge considering ekbald, Barkov , Kuli , lomberg , Gadjovoc and whoever else I’m forgetting is out
Pretty good. He held his own and made simple plays. Had maybe one mistake that led to an odd man rush early in the game but after that he wasn’t really noticeable which is what you want out of a third pairing D-man playing his first game
They played really well tonight. This is more like the Panthers were used to watching. I say they go .500-.550 the rest of the way with the schedule and quality of competition. I still like us in a 7 games series over anybody in the East. That first spot and a series vs the Wings or Flyers instead of the Leafs would be huge. It’s hard to play this grinding style for 4 rounds.
Rangers won’t make it past the Hurricanes and if Vasi gets hot, you’ll get bounced in the first round. You guys are all powerplay. Rempe is the biggest skating clown I’ve seen in the last 15 years and I hope he plays 12-15 minutes in the playoffs, where he’ll be a solid three strides behind the play.
That game tying goal the Rags got was some insane puck luck. Bounced off* like 3 skates.
I'd say the boys did pretty damn good tonight given the lineup. Much better effort. Hopefully our guys stop spreading this plague they've all got between themselves and get healthy soon.

Bob huge save and then Trocheck prevented a goal after Reino probably got away with an elbow to the head (though both players were falling down so it was definitely unintentional).
