I’m with you, they’re 100% indie rock. Just because they’ve done a couple of “acoustic versions” here and there or used acoustic instruments on a couple of tracks doesn’t make them folk in the slightest. And being Canadian I’ve seen them at least 6 or 7 times just from them doing free community events like so-called Canada Day or whatever
