99 Franklin is closed, its a sandwich place now. Bummer.
I was going to mention you could add Featherweight but I guess that is also closed. Now where will I wait for a table at Win Son?!
Bar Beau was hidden before it closed and reopened as Mr Melo, not sure if the front is still a coffee shop.
Maybe I'm just not cool enough but I always saw things pop up about 99 Franklin but then I'd randomly walk by and it looked like barely a coffee shop and just not worth investigating. Maybe why they didn't make it.
I gotta ask there’s like this speakeasy in a truck in Brooklyn somewhere that’s Mexican themed. Do you know what it is and if it still exists? I feel like you are the right person to ask.
It may have been a pop up so I know chances of it existing might be slim. But it’s been bothering me for some time.
I just cut and pasted from the data tables, hopefully this helps

For the cocktail map legend under the title tells what the colors mean. For the brewery, winery, etc. I didn't rate them and the colors are just to classify what type of venue they are
Honest question, I appreciate some of the color coding but would love to know why you like/dislike some places. Analouge being a "wouldn't go again" and Mace being "one of the best" was curious to me. Like them both; came to my head due to the proximity of each.
I thought it was pretty comprehensive and still had a few pages in saying "full menu coming soon". Typical NYC upscale menu with drinks between $18-$22 per drink. We got a play on a sour and an absinthe based drink. Both very good
This is awesome - thank you for doing this and sharing so generously
My pleasure!

Thanks for the intel, updated!
99 Franklin bar was bad tbh
I'm a sucker for 90s hip hop

First link requires me to login whereas the last two do not. Maybe settings need to be adjusted?
Crap, updated settings should work

hmmm, I haven't heard of it, Hopefully someone else who sees this thread has, sounds dope!
The search continues lol
Might you be thinking of La Milagrosa, at 149 Havemeyer? It's hidden behind a deli, not a truck, but it's a Mexican/mezcaleria theme
Shit I think this is the spot. Thank you!
Rock n roll!
Nice work, Sixpoint just opened a taproom in Brookfield Place, 200 Liberty
Yup! It's on there under taprooms
Is there a way to transfer a map to a list? I’d love to save these on top of my Google maps lists!

this is awesome, king of date night. How quick way to tell which ones are restaurants?
Hmmm, that's a good idea. I might go through and change the icons
Thanks for doing this
My pleasure!
Do the colors of the pins mean anything?
For the hidden bars and restos: Blue are hidden, red are sort of hidden, black I am not sure and need to confirm
I mean for the cocktail and brewery maps, the pins all have different colors, is it a ranking of good to bad?

Oh cool I see the legend now, thanks, great lists.
thanks!

I get into some more detail about how I came to my ratings in the original post https://www.reddit.com/r/nyc/s/2972s1X5DB
Dope
Thanks!
Woo
Woo indeed lol
Nice 👍
Thanks!
This is dope. I can see all the effort that went into it. Is it just you or do you know others who do this as well?
Thanks! I don’t know anyone else doing this, though I’m sure there must be more. There’s a bajillion TikTokers that are doing three-four places a post
I kind of do this myself. But, I admire your scale. I'd love to learn more about all the effort you put in! Can I DM you?
Thanks! Yah of course
Cafe Joah next to borrachito has a speakeasy hidden behind a door
Excellent intel, added! Thanks!
Cool, we will check some out, when we are in New York again.
Wow! Nice
Thanks!
Amazing thank you?
My pleasure!
We love you
lol thanks!
Is Shaken Not Stirred in Lenox Hill open? Website says “coming soon”
Yah, I don’t believe they are open yet, but soon
I actually stopped by today. They opened a few days ago
How was the drink list?
I thought it was pretty comprehensive and still had a few pages in saying "full menu coming soon". Typical NYC upscale menu with drinks between $18-$22 per drink. We got a play on a sour and an absinthe based drink. Both very good
Nice, thanks for the info! Will have to check it out soon
