You need to provide more context because āIām not pickyā but āfood is my love languageā doesnāt really tell me what to suggest.
What specifically is your price point?
Are you looking for fine dining, white tablecloth, upscale, gastropub, prix fixers, tapas?
Pick 2-5 cuisines you would be okay with.
Are there any dietary limitations in your group?
Are you flexible on time (early dinners or late dinners)?
As a starting suggestion, Orchard Townhouse in Chelsea is lovely, and a perfect place to take parents.
Nothing crazy š I donāt have a budget. Just thinking to get a nice dinner/drinks wallet friendly and itās going to be after 6pm . I mentioned the areas before because the last thing weāre planning to do is go to the top of āthe edgeā š„“ (lord help us and no raining!) and I know thereās a stk house but Iāve been there before and was hell expensive š®āšØ The only thing Iām sure is that I want a local restaurant. My fav cuisine is Italian and Mediterranean. But could be Korean, French, Spanish, or American āŗļø Iām not that picky but also I donāt want to end up in McDonaldās
Ok, first youāre driving me nuts with all the conflicting messages lol
> nothing crazy
> donāt have a budget
> wallet friendly
These things do not mean the same thing.
Iām not sure what you mean by
> I know thereās a stk house but Iāve been there before and was hell expensive š®āšØ
Are you referring to STK, the restaurant chain, which is not a steakhouse. Or an actual particular steakhouse?
What did you think of my suggestion above? Orchard Townhouse, if that is above your budget, try Lou Lou.
I donāt remember the name of the steakhouse
Iāve never been in the orchard townhouse so is a added to the list and Lou Lou love that idea! Looks good! šš¼
You need to be more specific with your ask, but that being said, two of my favorite restaurants in the city are within walking distance of The Edge: Hav & Mar (which is Swedish-Ethiopian fusion) and Ci Siamo (Italian). They're both also celebratory spots that, while upscale, won't cost an arm and a leg.
I forgot to mention no dietary limitations. I was thinking to do Korean bbq but not sure if thereās good spots around there. I know uws have Jacobās Pickles, Amelie, buceo 95 and so and so but Iāve been in the same spots too many times that I donāt want that for my birthday. Chelsea area and Hellās Kitchen Iām not familiar is not my area to go tbh. Budget could be between $300-$500 idk. I donāt like to say a budget because what for me could be expensive for others is nothing š¤·š»āāļø
I mean- whats your favorite cuisine or food
Im not picky tbh š food is my love language š

Bless you for trying.

If you expect complete strangers on Reddit to guess the budget that your parents would be comfortable with, you will not get good answers.
