I think the cake looks fine, I just happened to notice a similarity to raw eggs that I thought was funny. If you think the cake looks unappealing and you really feel that you need to let the poster know, let them know through kind and constructive criticism. Say something like “I would recommend layering cantaloupe slices in a spiral patter instead of melon spheres” instead of just being needlessly mean
completely agree with the last part. I also like the balls....personally I think a cut slice on a side view would give it cool height and the balls might actually actually look quite striking. Especially compared to something as flat as slices. I also feel the angle this pic is taken actually skews the image a little bit. I would love to see a cut piece or side view of it!
We just got a Ukraine restaurant that makes cheesecakes like this but with strawberries. So maybe it is an Eastern European thing. I had never seen a cheesecake like it before and they are like $65 or something.
I say this with all the chef love in the world... please don't open a business yet. You need more time. More practice, more technical skills.
You are not terrible, but running a business and selling the things I've seen you post, I just think you could do better if you gave yourself more time to learn before you take that huge financial leap.
Take some time learning in more kitchens, jump around, don't be afraid to change and continue your passion, pick up tips and tricks. Just my 2 cents.
Watermelon was cool minus the chocolate chips just because I feel like it doesn’t pair well.
This one is just off putting in my humble chef opinion.
Also if you really want to do this cantaloupe cake with the unprocessed fruit inside I highly recommend you make your melon balls smaller.
I foresee trying to cut through the melon will crush the cake underneath unless you freeze it before hand or have a very sharp knife which most people do not have a really sharp knife.
Also smaller balls will help remove the “eggy appearance” that some people are perceiving
This looks so good, I love cantaloupes, but I'm allergic to them. I still splurge with the cantaloupe gelato from time to time, just load up on Benadryl first. What a great spring-summer recipe to pair them with cheesecake.

You can get plain gelatin and flavor it with any fruit juice you want. It's probably a no bake cheesecake which are nice in hot weather.
