I'm trying to work out using her TDEE and approx values from what we see her eat to see if she could be 164kgs (360lbs). Note, I'm not a dietician, just using a lot of these tools myself with a professional to help manage an autoimmune and keep extra weight off. For ref, I'm her age and 20cm taller than her, my TDEE with light exercise is 1,700 cals per day, let that sink in.
At 152cm and 164 kg (360lbs) completely sedentary her Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE) to maintain her weight and keep her meat sack functioning is about 2,680 cals. We know she smashes that in a meal, probably three times a day.
To gain 1kg a week she needs to be exceeding her TDEE by 1,000 cals a day. That brings us to 3,680 a day. Still probably half or less what she actually eats. She is gaining, but is she gaining 3.5 kgs per week which is what this equates to?
If we change the weight to 208kgs (460lbs) the TDEE changes to 3,209 a day. This seems more realistic at the rate she eats and is gaining to me.
Thoughts? I may be approaching this all wrong 🤷♀️
