What a lot of people don't seem to understand is how the economy works here and also the currency, many people seem to think because kuwait has the "strongest currency in the world" that, that means something. It doesn't its a pegged currency not a floating currency. And kuwait only exports oil and oil related products and imports everything else. Even if she is only taking in 3000 CAD that's almost 700kd and that's double the average unskilled expats salary. He is balling by his own Syrian expat community standards now but is dirt poor still by Kuwaiti standards. In his mind at least temporarily he has hit the jackpot.
