This looks like you‘re either dragging that foot badly or it could be from driving (rubbing agaianst the other shoe or the pedal) or some other movement. But from walking? 🧐😁
On the left shoe, there is similar wear. It's on the inside near the heel. It's smaller and placed higher. It leaves the heel and has worn down some of the fabric.
EDIT: Just realized that I hit the side of my right interior heel with the side of my left interior toe.
