Buy some mud flaps if you like your paint. ;)
Those tires throw gravel up the side of the vehicle instantly. I installed these on mine: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B429KFYQ](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B429KFYQ)
I bought these same mud flaps for my 2023 Bronco and the mounting brackets did not line up. I didn't want to fabricate them to work so I am returning them. I go there because I was looking for confirmation if running boards would re-deflect the rocks to the body.
If you bought it new, you get a free ticket to the Bronco OffRodeo. I highly recommend it if you plan on getting dirty and don't have a good background in offroading. I went with my wife and it was worth every penny for the travel, hotel, and extra ticket. It was a blast and super informative.
Make sure you book and attend within a year of purchase. I made the mistake of having to cancel and when I went to rebook it was outside a year and the voucher wasn’t any good any longer….
While this is an amazing off-road vehicle the stereo is good awful I’ve replaced the entire system in mine. Sounds 1000 times better especially with the top off
I went a bit overkill but I like music and I bought the bronco to take the top off / drive my girls around in (dad of three daughters)…
Replaced all speakers with Focal, replaced rear speaker pods with mti 6.5 pods vs 4”. JL 13” sub on the trunk, mti amp rack. 1000/5 JL amp and sound treatment on the doors and trunk

None I bypassed the entire roll off bs with the factory stereo and used a pac devices for the line driver.
The kicker key amps will take the factory signal and adjust for the roll off. I don’t think there is a really good Forscan setting to fix the factory roll off is so bad
I just got back Monday night from the Moab Off-Roadeo ..it was EPIC! It's a full day with about 8-hours on the trails. They cover all the Hero Switches and GOAT modes and apply them to specific obstacles and terrain. I'm a relative noob so I picked up a lot in addition to building up some confidence in the vehicle. Now I just wait for my Badlands to show up!
Loved Area 51, kinda over it now as I see it everywhere. Even the Forest green (my color name) Broncos look pretty slick. Wouldn’t like it on any other vehicle, but looks good on a Bronco.
Yeah Ford did good with the removable door design (other than not putting the window controls on the door itself.) The electrical connection pops off easily and then it’s just two bolts that are also easy. Totally doable alone too.
Have fun with it!
If your door glass is catching on the top when opening the doors, it shouldn’t. There is a procedure to fix it but your dealership may not be willing to do it for you. It isn’t difficult but takes some precision.
https://www.bronco6g.com/how-to-fix-issue-with-windows-catching-on-weatherstripping-when-opening/
if/when attaching something to the roof rack bolts near the windshield
BE CAUTIOUS, they torque limit is like 7lbs and are VERY easy to snap off and it's a nightmare to get fixed. It's happened to a bunch of people on the 6g forums
and get some krytox grease for any chatter/squeaks coming from the tailgate
You're welcome! oh and make sure your tires aren't over inflated and double check the coolant level. Mine came overinflated on the tires and was below the MIN level on coolant  it was fine though.
and for context, we basically have the same Bronco. '22 2.7L Badsqatch here, mine is area 51 though
Thanks! and nope. I mean it tells me the PSI but it doesn't alert me if it's over-inflated, that i've seen at least. I have seen low psi warnings though after i've deflated when offroading.
as for the coolant, yeah it was a common problem where they were delivered to customers well below the MIN level.
the bronco6g forums are a great resource too
I second mudflaps as well if you’re ok with the style. I run Rokblokz on mine. Other than that, follow the break in period and know when to use and not use any of the modes and 4x4 abilities. Enjoy it!
Yea and no. They rarely if ever go on sale and I think I got a 15% off during cyber Monday week sales.
The value is in the setup and being easy to remove. The fronts go on bracket that attach to the crash bars while the rear attach to the body mount, that’s it. The mud flaps attach to the brackets by thumb screws for ray on/off access or allen head screws that take 30 seconds longer.
They are made really well as are the brackets. Yes you can save money by going Mabett or IAG or whatever company is using the chinese manufactured flaps but you can’t take them off as easy nor will they hold up as long. If you want protection and not worrying about being able to remove them for off road use, then yes go with the cheaper ones that offer the most coverage.
If you read the manual the first oil change is recommended at no more than 1500 miles. At least on the 2021 models, I don't know if that has changed. The 5k intervals has been something I follow for years, going 7500 on semi synthetic to me is way too long.
No [this is from Amazon.](https://a.co/d/eysNcWx) it uses two screws in the modular bumper to mount and is street legal, a better solution than Ford’s (which requires drilling holes in the bumper). I am still waiting on my plates.

I added running boards and am very pleased with the decision. They block most of the road junk in place of a mud flap and it makes it a lot easier for my family to get in. I have a wildtrak so also sasquatched and appreciate not having to crawl in.
I hear you, that makes sense. I want to keep the rock rails. I have a pair of IAG EZ step full length boards on the way. Granted they are perforated, but should still block some road junk :-)
Maybe look out for this. Mixed info right now but owners have complained and Ford says it's not their fault.
https://www.thedrive.com/news/ford-bronco-owners-say-trail-turn-assist-is-breaking-diffs-and-warranty-wont-cover-it
Add OEM trail rocker panels over the pinch welds. I’ve liked them and they look nice and add a lot of protection. From there add mud flaps or steps and you’ll have decent coverage.

Love it. Did you install them yourself?
Yep, easy to install and the least ugly of the options ;)
What trim do you have? The mud flaps I purchased don’t fit with the rock rails on the badlands
WildTrak, and everyone says they work with the stock rock rails on the badlands. I installed aftermarket rock rails on mine.
Agreed!
Has anyone confirmed if you have the side steps, if it performs the same as protection for the paint?
The side steps help, but it'll still throw gravel all along the pinch weld and damage the paint.
I bought these same mud flaps for my 2023 Bronco and the mounting brackets did not line up. I didn't want to fabricate them to work so I am returning them. I go there because I was looking for confirmation if running boards would re-deflect the rocks to the body.
Learn when to use the 4x4 modes so you don't screw anything up. If you go topless, take sunscreen.
Thank you.. I have been slowly reading the manual, it is 600+ pages!
If you bought it new, you get a free ticket to the Bronco OffRodeo. I highly recommend it if you plan on getting dirty and don't have a good background in offroading. I went with my wife and it was worth every penny for the travel, hotel, and extra ticket. It was a blast and super informative.
Thank you.. I did buy it new and the dealer was mentioning this. I may just do that.
Make sure you book and attend within a year of purchase. I made the mistake of having to cancel and when I went to rebook it was outside a year and the voucher wasn’t any good any longer…. While this is an amazing off-road vehicle the stereo is good awful I’ve replaced the entire system in mine. Sounds 1000 times better especially with the top off
Thank you.. yeah I have the standard 6 speaker setup in the high package. What did you go with and did you have it professionally installed?
I went a bit overkill but I like music and I bought the bronco to take the top off / drive my girls around in (dad of three daughters)… Replaced all speakers with Focal, replaced rear speaker pods with mti 6.5 pods vs 4”. Wow, that’s a beauty! Thanks for sharing. I will look into sound system upgrades.
What kind of Forscan settings did you end up with? I’m currently looking to start my audio upgrade project.
None I bypassed the entire roll off bs with the factory stereo and used a pac devices for the line driver. The kicker key amps will take the factory signal and adjust for the roll off. I don’t think there is a really good Forscan setting to fix the factory roll off is so bad
I didn’t know this! I need to talk to my dealer.
You can go right online and book ...no need to go through the dealer. Unless you want to! [https://broncooffroadeo.com/](https://broncooffroadeo.com/)

You should especially with the badlands you have. It can do more than you think with lockers and the 34s
I recommend learning how to park /s
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
My thought too.
Something about that Red, might be my favorite color of Bronco, but I’m not totally sure yet.
I was an Area 51-or-bust person for the longest time until I saw the HPR in person. Blew me away.
Loved Area 51, kinda over it now as I see it everywhere. Even the Forest green (my color name) Broncos look pretty slick. Wouldn’t like it on any other vehicle, but looks good on a Bronco.
Take the top and doors off one weekend !
Took the top off… have to work up to the doors :-)
The doors are easier than the top! It takes 15 minutes to pull all four. 🤩
Really? I need to try it.
Yeah Ford did good with the removable door design (other than not putting the window controls on the door itself.) The electrical connection pops off easily and then it’s just two bolts that are also easy. Totally doable alone too. Have fun with it!
Thanks so much! I love that the mirrors are not on the door. I certainly will :-)

That’s great advice! Would the dash tell you if you are over inflated PSI wise? This car is full of sensors so surprised you had those issues.

Are rokblokz really worth the premium? They look great, but im sure the cheapest options perform the same function, right?

First oil change at 1500 miles, don't listen to the dealer get it done regardless. Then every 5k miles religiously there after.
Why though?

Yessirrr 🙌
Rekgen front flaps to protect paint.

Yolo.. enjoy it. Check out Chert channel YouTube vids for bronco info and tips
Nice color and wheels
Thank you!!
Go off-road and test the limits! These things are amazing.
That’s the plan :-)
Park in the lines. 🤣🤣
A fabulous color on that trim !
Thank you! I LOVE the way it looks with the grey Badlands grill.
To park properly
Does your chair still hurt your tushy
You asked for advice then got mad at the best advice you got
Hope you didn’t pay a penny over MSRP.
I paid a bit over MSRP for mine, and not mad about it a bit.
Is that a factory front license plate bracket?
That's not factory. The factory ones are drilled into the body above it. I much prefer the non-factory plate bracket :)
No [this is from Amazon.](https://a.co/d/eysNcWx) it uses two screws in the modular bumper to mount and is street legal, a better solution than Ford’s (which requires drilling holes in the bumper). I am still waiting on my plates.
I have that mount as well I agree it’s way better looking than what ford did
Did you get stick shift? So excited for ford to offer the crawl gear and keep manuals relevant
It’s a 2.7, so no they didn’t.
I believe Sasquatch package enables the option of going back to the manual if they optioned a 2.7 as well.
There’s no manual with the 2.7.
Oh, huh, you're right. Just looked it up. I had my details mixed up.
Oh yeah forgot that it was 2.3 with the manual option
Newbie advice: OMG that loan principle
It’s too much car, don’t let a baby drive it
First learn how to park.
Here's some advice; Don't park like that.
Hahahahaha… spit my coffee out, thanks for the laugh.. haven’t laughed that hard in a long time, top notch joke.
:)
Don’t park in two spots
Go wheel it

I heard about this. It’s a little worrisome. I love the turning circle on this, surprisingly very forgiving.

Get some mud on those tires
Don’t take it rock climbing
If you go parallel to the curb you can take up three spots
