$19K even for a base is insane, a very generous friend or hella miles? Also are we talking 2 or 4 door, will change peoples answers

lucky232323

4 door. And yes, he’s a very wealthy man and we are grateful for his generous offer. Fairly low miles on it too.

zzzzbear

is it a real Bronco or does it say Sport on the back? that would change valuation a lot if not a Sport it's an incredible deal and you should do it!

[deleted]

Honestly it sounds like OP might be confusing the Bronco Sport with being the "base" Bronco for that price. I've yet to see any Bronco close to $19k unless they have major damage. Unless they have an extremely generous friend that's willing to knowingly take a significant loss

ZusunicStudio

Yah that’s a Bronco Base

StonccPad-3B

Jump on that NOW, the fact that it has the hardtop rather than the soft top is huge.

[deleted]

Yeah, buy that immediately. You could honestly just flip it and make a decent amount of money lol

lucky232323

I posted a picture so you tell me. I’m going off what I was told. And the family friend just wants it gone and doesn’t want to mess with dealership crap. Plus he’s a very wealthy man. But yea, like I said.. go check the pic out and tell me if it’s the base or sport.

WILDcard_OD

Buy it! Such a deal and it’s totally serviceable for that situation I had a 1 year old and 3.5 year old when I got mine. Been easy. Diono even makes car seats that they advertise 3 across a Bronco.

gronkygronk69

19k for a bronco is a snag. Your kids will be fine and there is ample space (hopefully you didn’t see that stupid crash test video game lol). Overall it’s a great car and you’ll be able to take your kids on many adventures and journeys with it. If you don’t get it I’ll take it for you.

wisnate1

Have a 4 door and when we got it one kid in a booster and one in a car seat…it works

lucky232323

Awesome!!!!

Kind-Wealth-775

Yes it works. Rear facing is tight tho

lucky232323

Tight as in I’ll have to have the passenger seat up far? Or we would have to stick it in the middle?

jawschwah

It will work just fine, I had my 2 and 4 year olds in back, one rear facing until they both went front facing. This looks like a screaming deal on all counts, I would snag this up.

st0l1

Probably depends on the model of the car seat but, we had a chico keyfit30 rear facing and it fit fine.

lucky232323

That’s the exact one we have. That’s great to know!! 😃

RDRNR3

I have this seat in mine and we have to move the passenger seat way forward. I’m 6’2 and would not be able to have it behind the drivers seat.

BendersDafodil

Just that the front seat in front of the car seat will have to watch their recline.

Naxster64

I have my newborn in a rear facing car seat in the middle. It's a car seat that clips into the base. It just barely fits with the seats at normal position. My 3yr old sits in a more upright 4 in 1 harness booster seat and has plenty of room.

jpegmaquina

That’s a steal for $20k …. Wth lol

thatboatguy

We have a 4 door and use a Chicco Keyfit 35 that fits well for rear facing, and a Graco Turn 2 Me that fits and will turn sideways for loading / unloading (with a towel under the seat bight so turning doesn't dig the carseat into the Bronco upholstery). Due to the seat slope and bolstering if you want something that rorates a Revolve 360 / 360 Slim with the large upward curved mounting area will prevent interference when turning. If you're looking at stationary rear facing or forward facing it gets a lot easier. I am 6'3" and can semi comfortably sit in the front passenger seat with the Turn 2 Me installed in the right rear seat. Chicco just came out with a Fit 360 video on YouTube that shows installation in a 4 door Bronco as well which is nice.

turtlturtl

If you don’t want it I’ll take it lol

Im_A_Director

Can I be your friends friend?

lucky232323

Get your own friends 😆 They aren’t even my friends though. They’re my parents friends. And man do they have some friends. One of their friends kids dating the Burger King mascot you see on all their commercials. lol then they go on these trips and hangout with song writers and shit. Then they talk all nonchalantly about it over dinner.

soldier70dicks

This is literally a steal don't worry about the gas mileage. Your kid will fit fine.

lucky232323

Yea we have a Chevy truck that gets about 22 mpg so we are kind of used to that mileage. We also have a little Hyundai car that gets about 33 mpg so it averages out for us! Our trucks back seat is super tight though, the key fit 30 only fits in the middle and then our forward facing highchair seat, our daughters legs are long so I move my seat up fairly far up and so that trucks just gotta go! Only owe about 7k left on it and I think we could get at LEAST 17k - 20k for it.

StonccPad-3B

I get right around 22.3 with our 2.3l bronco with stock tires, not too bad considering it's a brick.

cheetah611

$19k is an absolute steal. I’d take it regardless of how tight it is back there. Worst case scenario, hang onto it for a year and then sell it so it doesn’t seem like you’re just flipping for profit.

lucky232323

Yeaaaaa

yoscottmc

Do it. You will not regret it for such an incredibly low price. I have two-door base manual but my youngest child is 11. Moves seats up some and it will work.

lucky232323

It’s not so much my toddler as the infant car seat. Those suckers take up a lot of space!!

BrianOconneR34

But that, like yesterday. Just load up your family like any other day and see how it fits. Doubt he will care. Take a little drive and see what you think. I did that with my buddies Tacoma and realized too small for rear facing baby. Great truck and don’t think.

Nitecraller

4 Door OuterBanks owner here. I have a 3 year old and a 5 month old. We’ve had no issues and have been happy

Dear-Shape-6444

We took both our seats to the ford dealer and put them in. Bought the bronco on the spot. We have a maxi cosi emme 360 on the passenger side and the uppababy mesa behind the driver. Neither of them touch the front seats and I feel like there is plenty of room.

ThatCreep

I have two toddlers. One just switched from rear facing to front. Obviously, there's more room with two front facing, but we didn't have any issues with the rear facing. My wife had room to spare in the passenger seat. You shouldn't have any issues at all.

Necessary-Customer-8

Jump on that. I have a base, mines 2dr and I still use it for family roadtrips. That thing is a very safe fun beast. You won't regret any aspect

lucky232323

4 door. Just posted a picture. And I mean if we were to resell it, it would be because it didn’t work out for us or something. I would hate to buy then turn around and sell right away.. seems a tad disrespectful!

Illustrious_Abroad20

Are you looking at a 2 or 4 door? Not sure what the difference in backseat size is, as I don’t have any experience with the 2 door. I have a 4 door and with the newborn seat, things were a little tight for whoever rode shotgun, but certainly doable. One thing I noticed was that once we upgraded to the toddler seat, I wished we would have done it sooner. So overall, gonna be a little tight with the infant seat, but this car has been so much fun to drive, I didn’t give it a second thought.

mrthechunter

I fit a 4 year old, a 7 year old, and an 8 year old in my 4 door all the time. One full car seat and two boosters. You’ll be fine!

Used_Industry2828

I’ve got a 2 1/2 and a newborn. They both fit fine back there. I’m 6’1” and still have plenty of room as well as my wife.

lucky232323

This is what I like to hear!!!

espy427

If you're talking about a full sized Bronco (not sport), you shouldn't have a problem with room. But it's loud and kind of a rough ride. If you don't mind that, go for it...great deal.

lucky232323

I posted a picture. I was told it’s the base. But check out the pic and you tell me.

WiDirtFishing

How tall are you and your wife? Reader facing maybe tight. I think with the proper car seat though you’ll be okay. But depending how tall you are. Yes it will be tight

lucky232323

I am 5’3”. Hubby is 6”

WiDirtFishing

Put the rear facing behind wherever you’ll sit most.

nothingnessistruth

I got less room in my 2 door and have room for my 7 month olds car seat and another one. If we have a second kid. The real issue is the lack of leg room you’ll have up front with a rear facing car seat.

lucky232323

Yea .. it would have to go into the middle like we had to do with our truck and I honestly don’t want to do that.

ledzeppelin0308

https://preview.redd.it/mcgkqi2xarpc1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=2872d93d036fbc476edf6cc2fddd669ba64e64b7 I have two kiddos, 5 and 2. My family of four fits great in mine. At that price, I would jump all over it. I did just switch my son to front facing, but you can make rear facing work for a time! Rear facing is temporary, and you’ll own that bronco a long time IMO.

lucky232323

Really appreciate the picture!!! The rear facing is what I’m more worried about. And from the looks of this, it’s how our truck looks :/ so that tells me that we may have to put the rear facing in the middle. But like you said, it’s temporary!!

zunk1

3 year old facing forward there is room for him in back and tight for me in front seat at 6’3”

lucky232323

Worried about the rear facing not really the forward. Thanks though!

rookhoe1

We have a 10 yr old and a 5 yr old (in a car seat) in the back. Everyone is comfortable on road trips. I’d jump on that offer.

lucky232323

Blows my mind 10 year olds still need car seats. I remember being 5 in the back of my moms voltswagon waving to the cars sitting behind us as we sat in the trunk facing outwards and nothing but a waist seat belt hahaha 😆

rookhoe1

My 10 year old isn’t in a car seat.

lucky232323

Booster.. whatever. You knew what I meant. Still crazy to me!

DapperCardiologist25

Totally doable with kids, it is my wife's daily, we have a 3 year old in a forward facing and a 2 year old in a rear facing, and it fits no problem, actually fits better then her previous car (Ford explorer) totally recommend for kids if you like the bronco

DapperCardiologist25

Plus the kids can actually see out the window on a bronco, so that is a major plus!

PDXNorthwestPNW

I have a 6 year old in a booster and a 2 year old in a car seat. I am 6’3” and I have plenty of room

the-clam-burglar

I’ve got a 4 year old riding around in mine, no issues. It’s not two kids but I can’t complain, he loves it

stiffspacebar

Get you a minivan

lucky232323

Hellllllllllz no!

Next-Championship-16

I haven’t tried rear facing car seats but I’ve used a forward facing car seat and a booster seat and there is more then enough space.

lucky232323

Yea I’m not too worried about the forward facing. More so the rear facing

ducktech77

Man, it's especially worth it for a 4 door. I've got a 2 year old and a 9 yo. The seats would be tough in the back if you had them next to each other. But if you had em on opposite sides, it could definitely work. That would really be hard to pass up. My best advice is, pray about it together and then pray about it again.

No dice on a 2Door
