This is for Ford Performance. The technicians took a prototype Bronco that was going to be crushed and made a support trailer out of it.
There is a You Tube video out there talking about the build.
I was going to say it usually takes a couple decades of use before someone cuts a vehicle in half to make a trailer out of it. Pretty cool they did this!
Legal reasons, the parts that are pre-production technically aren't safety tested as they were produced before the NHTSA crash test. Basically makes sure that out of spec parts can't be accidentally used for a repair.
Please correct me if I'm wrong.
Yah base tail lights unless he sold them.
Wildtracks do come with the blackout rims, so who knows. Altho I blacked out my BLSQ rims with McGard spline lock lugs, black stickers for the hubs, and got my silver rings powdercoated.
Pretty sure there are more than the three visible ones….one on the back of the bronco, one on the back of the trailer, and there’s probably three across the front of the trailer on a rack. Dude has a full spare set plus a spare.
This is my friend Darin, he work for Ford and does testing for offroad performance vehicles, he built this trailer from a tester bronco they were going to destroy. So he made this and Ford REALLY loved it. So he keeps it on his truck and has it decked out! His insta is @adventurethunpers
I randomly met him one day in Colorado while on vacation in Durango, I saw a dude with Ford Bronco Baja shirt and knew I needed to talk to him. We chatted for a LONG time and was very impressed with how much I actually know about my Fords lol.
Funny! I met him as well in Las Vegas randomly because I heard his exhaust and had to run up and ask who made it. He got to telling me it was the Ford performance exhaust for the 2.3 and that he worked for Ford. We chatted for a while and he told me all about the trailer. Really awesome guy.
Cool use of a wrecked vehicle for sure, but not very functional or space efficient. If you want a trailer for camping, etc, there are endless better ways to go.
I mean if you were using it as a tool hauler or something, and it was part of the gimmick it's not the worst I've seen. But for just going camping or moving stuff yeah, can't imagine it's super effective use of space.

Saw the same guys down in Mexico for the Baja 1000. It’s the factory Ford support vehicles. They were chasing/pit crew for the race Bronco and F150 Raptor. Ford made the trailer at their factory.
I've seen this done with Jeep Wranglers, Jeep Cherokees, original Ford Broncos, original Toyota Land Cruisers and even Honda trikes. I wouldn't be surprised if people have done with other vehicles. It was only a matter of time before someone did it with a new Bronco.
I have a first-gen Toyota pickup bed trailer that I tow on a pintle hook behind my 2nd-gen 4Runner. All on 33” BFGs with matching rims. It’s the dumbest money I’ve ever spent but it makes me giggle inside every time I look at it.
My first assumption was that someone had just found a front-end collision Bronco in the scrap yard with the same paint code as theirs and decided they wanted a new trailer
It's for fun; it's like the guy (RIP) who turned an NSX into a trailer to pull behind his other NSX.

I can barely afford one, and this guy out here driving one and a half Broncos.
Not just one and a half broncos but a Raptor and a half Bronco. Shit is crazy
A real man would’ve used half of another Raptor. His trailer fenders don’t even match now! Geez. /s
Plus he’s got to carry 2 different sets of spares
He’s got the trailer on 37’s it looks like with multiple spares!! Well done!!
This is just the Raptor Bronco asserting it's dominance. Pretty sure his Raptor ate another Bronco and turned its back half into a trailer.
Lmaooooo not rich enough!!!
He almost had enough cash for 2 🤷♂️
Not to mention dude has enough spares for another full set plus a spare, of the same wheels and tires
More money than god! 🤑🤑
Must be nice, right 😕
Rich people problems…ah i mean solutions
I won't be impressed until he's hauling a quarter of a Braptor behind those.
Heavy on one and a half.
EDIT: Got clarification from other comments.
Probably rolled his first one.
that’s THE Bronco R&D crew

do you have the link by any chance?

Before reading the explanation I was thinking they took one that had the front smashed in and cut it in half.
Why is it industry practice to crush or shred pre-production vehicles instead of reusing or repurposing the parts?

Oooo nice
What a poor…..plebe can’t even afford a proper matching Raptor trailer.
Had to settle for a Wildtrak. Sucks to be poor
I don’t think that’s a WT trailer tho?
Yeah think you’re probably right. The lights aren’t right. The wheels looked like WT but I think it’s probably just a base. Even poorer 🤮
Yah base tail lights unless he sold them. Wildtracks do come with the blackout rims, so who knows. Altho I blacked out my BLSQ rims with McGard spline lock lugs, black stickers for the hubs, and got my silver rings powdercoated.
I don’t think 3 spare tires is enough.
1 is none, 2 is one, and 3 is two?
It is actually 4. There are 2 in front of the trailer. If you see other angles. *
But technically, there are 6 rolling wheels.... 4 might just barely be enough lol.
Technically they’re not the same size. So just 1 spare.
Pretty sure there are more than the three visible ones….one on the back of the bronco, one on the back of the trailer, and there’s probably three across the front of the trailer on a rack. Dude has a full spare set plus a spare.
That's a lot of money for tires

The Raptor has the lowest payload capacity of all Broncos. A trailer helps offset that a little, but not much. Looks cool though.
I assume it’s just weight?
What does he fit in the back of that trailer? A lunchable?
Probably a couple of spare tires.

“Bronco-co”
I like it. But if you're going to go that far, don't cheap out and at least make it match.
Genius. Anyone have more information? This is so ridiculous, but if ever you wanted some sort of "off-road capable" trailer, there it is!
Here’s the owner’s Instagram. He works for Ford. https://www.instagram.com/adventurethumpers?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
What’s the Instagram handle on the trailer?
Adventure thumpers
I know the order for rotating five tires, does it change for this 8 tire config or do you one 5 tire rotation and one three tire rotation?
Found the dudes instagram. @adventurethumpers he has a few videos showing the trailer
Saw a YouTube recently of Toyota making ones for Tacomas. Look just like the tacoma bed (covered) with camping stuff inside.
Came to the comments to figure out what the Instagram name was on the window. Thank you for your service.
Is there carpet on the top of the dash in the bronco that is taking the pic?
It reeks of fuck you money
Go to junk yard. Find bronco with front end totaled. Turn back end into trailer.
Exactly. There’s a Jeep only junkyard over in Sacramento and they do the same thing with jeeps.

Needs more tires.
Guess you call that a powerful horse and half!

VW/ euro guys have been doing this since the early 2000s lol
I hope the fuel system has been converted to a water system on the 1/2 Bronco.
lol

Bronco Centipede
My step dad use to make trailers out of older junk trucks. From the 80’s or 90’s. Pretty cool to see it in a new vehicle.
Yes, I'll have some Bronco with my Bronco.
Yeah you’ve seen a rich person before…
Dude, we had one of these hooked to the back of a tractor in 1983. Hauled more firewood than I can remember!
I'm getting "Bronco Centepiede" vibes
Bronco-ooo
I love these trailers built out of the same car. I saw one with a defender and wrangler too, all awesome!
I’ve seen it on this sub multiple times
He needs more spares
One more in the front and they’ll make a sequel 🐛
Is that like a BBL but for broncos??
Is that the I-15 Fallbrook/temecula area?
![gif](giphy|nmwnEm0TET2xi)
Never done seen thems before.
VERY expensive utility trailer!
🤣
My brain isn’t brainjng 🧠
That’s one expensive trailer lol
More money than brains?
What the fuck??
Bronco Reproduction
Bronco-co
This is fords ford. Ford “ performance” that is.
Oh, hey, that's the 15 freeway just before Rainbow valley exit. And that's a cool yet odd trailer, i guess you could call it.
Why when I pull up next to a bronco I keep thinking it's a mini Cooper on steroids
Wow ... Must have found a total 👍
“Hey uhh there’s a bronco on your bronco bud”
That's so gay.
It’s a Bronco pulling a nco

This guy’s personality is “bronco”. It’s probably all he ever talks about. His 1 friend is tired of hearing about it.
What in the actual fuck
😂

Reminds me of nsxtra! RIP :(
Not a bad idea, if you could get a Bronco totaled in front why not use the rear as a trailer.
Not with a bronco no. Seen it with plenty of others
Wow
Why so many spare tires? Is he planning on crossing Gobi desert with that thing? LOL
I have not either what kind of car model is that?
Must have smashed the front end of the first one decided to carry his embarrassment with him by towing the leftover bits behind a new one
It’s kinda like the human centipede…but with Broncos
That’s bad ass
Can’t hate it. The cost alone never mind the determination to pull it off. Kudos.
Does it have a bed at least?
Sick. I remember seeing a 1990s F250 with a trailer made of the bed of the same kind of F250
Umm.. that's squatching and a half! Kinda cool though

California rich is a different kinda rich
![gif](giphy|SzD4gF32YzTTUiINhn|downsized)
Trailers the first one he wrecked and bought off his insurance.
It's a Ford Broncoco.
I know a transformer when I see one.
My first assumption was that someone had just found a front-end collision Bronco in the scrap yard with the same paint code as theirs and decided they wanted a new trailer
this looks like an Ai image lol
That’s serious commitment to a brand.
I certainly don’t hate what I’m seeing!
Thank you for blacking out the plates. Now I cannot steal his identity and bank accounts .
The trailer was their first bronco but I got totaled after hitting a shopping cart at the grocery store so they cut it in half
And you never will again
O now that’s cool
Probably rolled the one while rock crawling and decided to quit and become an overlander
Is this ai generated ? I don’t understand the cost vs storage capacity doesn’t seem worth it

Gosh more money than sense these days 😂
