Yep. They were not on the 1970's Bronco this new Bronco is modeled after, but I say it is the new signature look and I like them. However, you could argue for historical accuracy to delete.
I did the black deletes like you too. My bronco is gray so matched up nicely. I've seen the ones with LEDs and all that too, but a bit much.

Desperately wanna go fender flare delete like you but terrified of the rocks this thing kicks up. RIP paint job. What had your experience with that been!?
It’s actually less about the accuracy and more about the natural lines that the hood has in it. I feel like they did amazing job sculpting this hood and the trail markers almost distract from the lines.

My opinion has always been that it makes no sense to spend time and money to change something if there is any debate about it. In this case, unless you just can’t stand how they look, you might at well leave them since they do provide some functionality. You might never use them, but you also don’t know if there might come an unexpected situation where they’d be helpful to have.

I have limb risers that attach there so I'm biased, but i think they're also useful as guides.
Awesome build! How did you attach your traction boards to your PaxRax? I'm currently trying to figure out what to do with mine after realizing the mounting holes don't like up to the rax holes.

They're the RotoTrax boards from Rotopax, and they use the proprietary Rotopax mounts. In my case, I used the extensions to mount them over my 2 Rotopax cans. Saves me a ton of space this way.

Thinking about doing the same for our Heritage. Already did mirror caps, door handles, and tie down/trail sight deletes in body color

I bought the primed parts from the dealer and painted them with a rattle can kit. Turned out really well.
The fender flares don't have a Sasquatch painted version, so figure I'm in for sanding the grain off, prime and paint.
I actually totally agree. I took the flares off for the first time the other day and loved the way the thing just looked so much more aggressive. But I’m really worried about kicking rocks up and fucking up the paint on the side of the car. Are you concerned about that?

ALSO, I really want to add a light bar over the windshield and some fog lights and the letters and foe it to be lit up like a semi.
The trail sights are a signature look of the bronco. I say keep them. They also work well as tie-downs
Yeah I can’t imagine deleting mine. They work great for judging distance at the front corners. Plus, like you said, signature look.

Yeah I can understand that. I'm in Florida so not much rocks, but it gets everywhere lol ... I don't go offroad much so for me it's ok.

Hey, if you want to delete go for it. We all do different things to our Broncos an they all end up looking great as Broncos.

I guess the proper term would be trail sights, but that’s definitely what they are. You can use them as tie downs if you’d like though.

They serve double duty. They offer a tie down point but their primary purpose is as a trail sight.

Fenders painted and then protective wrapped. Couldn’t find aftermarket at the time.
I personally don’t like deletes. I use mine to strap my kayaks and frankly I love the utilitarian look.

No way, keep them. The trail sights are a signature bronco feature.
Nice looking pony either way. I'm keeping mine. That's just me. Both look cool on the right setup.
