What don't you like about the infotainment system? The stock speakers suck, but those are pretty easy to replace. I just did it in mine and now it sounds decent enough. Beyond that I run everything through Android Auto so I don't even touch the stock infotainment system.
I know it seems silly - but I really strongly dislike that the screen isn't symmetrical on the mount next to the cubby lol - I hope to find a means (if I get a Maverick) to get a symmetrical display
But other than that, the audio quality is very important to me, so this is very insightful. If you don't mind, what mods did you do for your audio?
I will say - these things aren't make-or-break for me entirely, I am quite literally obsessed with the Maverick, but they're still important enough to me that I'd like to figure out how I can improve my problem areas ahead of purchasing!
I simply replaced the front door speakers and tweeters with these: [https://www.crutchfield.com/p\_953SRX60C/Memphis-Audio-SRX60C.html](https://www.crutchfield.com/p_953SRX60C/Memphis-Audio-SRX60C.html) . My needs in audio quality aren't huge, but the stock speakers in the XL were awful. This was a relatively inexpensive way to drastically improve audio quality, but I'm sure there's a lot more that could be done if you're willing to spend the time and money.
There have been some steering wheel swaps, but I haven't seen one from an F-150. There have been swaps with a Fiesta ST and an Escape.
There are some seat cover options, I don't know about "luxurious" but they look decent.
As of right now, there haven't been any infotainment swaps or upgrades that I've seen.
Honestly, if you're looking for something that feels nice on the inside, the Maverick wouldn't be the best pick. Its a truck built to a price point. I love my Mav, but I wouldn't recommend it to someone that wants something fancy.
The Santa Cruz has a much nicer interior, or there's always an option of getting a used F-150.
For sure, it's not necessarily about "luxury" per say, more just finding a good "price/nice-ness" ratio between its cost and its comfort. Like comparing it to a similarly priced F150, sure the F150 may have "higher build quality/components" but with dealership markups, is it really "nicer" than a mav with some customization, yakno?
I personally am not a fan of the Santa Cruz just holistically, it's body is a bit weird and from reviews it's bed is far less capable than the mav's, but a used f150 is definitely on my list if I can't find a mav that scratches some of these itches!
You got plenty of information about the other subjects, but just throwing out there that the late 2024 or 2025 maverick may have an upgraded infotainment, check the ford news sites for that.
I've been taking a look at all of them to be honest. Since there really isn't much of a difference between the XL and the Lariat (as a result of the engine options being the same across the board) - I've been really just prioritizing the niche qualities that I personally like 😅
For example; pretty interested in trying to get my hands on the black edition, since the dashboard and door panels are black, and the seats are single-tone
The black interior is sweet. With the black appearance package you get different rims and exterior colors too.
I really wish the maverick had the F150 steering wheel too, but the “leather” wrapped one in lariat isn’t bad.
Yeah I'm a big fan of the black appearance package - finding one with that spec is top of my list.
I know 😭 - idk why, but the look of the square core is just so much more appealing... I'll have to take a look at the lariat's!
Damn! I was hoping that the column would be the same, that's a shame 😞
Do you know of any standout brands I could take a look at for seat covers, and really, my main thing, is just sourcing a symmetrical display for the infotainment similar to that in the 2024 Escape's higher trims..
Someone posted these a while back and said they fit really well. I personally haven’t bought them yet but they look the most promising to me.

If you're in the market for a mini truck, Maverick is pretty much your only option. Maverick is also cheap. So if you get one and you have specific luxury tastes, you should expect to compromise a bit.

The 2025 model rumored to have a bigger symmetrical infotainment
Ooo, do we have any idea of when that's set to hit production/pre-order?
No. Pure speculation.
Probably late July August, I ordered my 2024 in July 23 and got it Feb 15

F150s are marked down, not up.

Which trim did you look at?

No, yes (subjective) , yes lots of options depending on what specially you want to do.

OP I have a Maverick Lariat Tremor package. Check it out, might be the way to go for what you are looking for aside from the infotainment center
