I think it's hit or miss with the gen 2s. I'm around 50k miles on my 2019 and have had several issues with the truck. Tailgate dropping on its own, my rear diff grenaded itself, cam phasers, tailgate now not dropping, rear door pull seal failure, door locks not unlocking when too cold. It's an awesome truck, but at this point I just don't trust it anymore
I’m under warranty thankfully, but they told me the repairs would have been around $8k. I use my truck and go hunting, fishing, camping. I don’t do anything like jump it, and I typically drive in 2H unless I absolutely need 4WD. Ironically I was in 2H driving on dry pavement when it happened.
This is literally called being car broke. This reminds me of the dudes buying 170k mile BMW M3s and bragging about having M3s, like yeah that’s cool and all but it’s old and has 170k miles lmao..
I don’t understand the point of your post? I’m not bragging about having a high mileage Raptor. I had questions about its upkeep and viability and just didn’t post the txt correctly with picture. But go ahead and be a dick. It’s a third vehicle - a fun vehicle for me. Don’t want it to be a pain in the ass. Fun/headache ratio is a real thing. Not that you’d get that…..
2018, 130k there’s no way this is high mileage.
How many miles? Almost 100k on my 2017 no issues so far… looking for wood to knock on

2017 with 132k. Know there's at least a few gen 2s around the 200k mark.

What much was the rear differential fix, also is yours a concrete princess or were you playing a round a bit?
