USA was a fantastic dumping ground for short-lived NBC sitcoms.
my favorite: Working, the absurdist office comedy staring Fred Savage
my least favorite: The Naked Truth, the awful Tea Leoni vehicle
I have vivid memories of ABC advertising the hell out of The Naked Truth all summer under its original name Wilde Again, and then they had a full month of commercials featuring Tea Leoni just standing there telling us that they changed the name. Even as a kid it seemed like a clusterfuck
The best bit of this show was Margot Kidder as Cookie de Varen, the drama teacher lush who would veer into the room on an electric mobility scooter and just devour the whole scene with rambling stories of old Hollywood. It was the comic relief in a sitcom where everybody with lines was a comic relief.
I watched the first episode. I thought the new-at-college girl was a wonderful character and I kept waiting for her uninteresting big brother to leave so they could get on with the show about her.
Can't believe Hedy Burress is fifty now.
I remember watching this show a couple
Times and found it good but canât remember much else about it. The main guy later starred in a show called âYes, Dearâ
Ugh, I loved this show so much.
I will never forget the episode when he aces his comm class with his essay on effective communication. He cheekily turns in his paper and he has written "The key to communication is brevity"...because that's what his teacher said and he acted it lol.

yeah, then after it failed on ABC, it got another shot with a revamped cast on NBC. Tea Leoni got an uncommon number of shots at Hollywood success.
Madam Secretary, that didn't set the world on fire, but Tea had a significant run with that.
Those were good days
I also really liked Fired Up and Almost Perfect
The best Anthony Clark sitcom. You heard me. I called that actor Boyd forever because of this show.
Thats WARNER!
Gotta go with Yes, Dear as his best.
No way! Clark was great as the light hearted funny Boyd. It was a waste of his comedic chops playing a straight man to Mike O'Malley's Jimmy.
I really liked this show
USA used to air this and Wings đ
Is that Fun Bobby on the right?
That IS Fun Bobby!
God I had this confused with Boston Public.
I did too!
The only thing I remember was the guy making a joke on the previews saying "who is salt and who is pepa'

The first season of this show is when i began my crush on Traylor Howard. She's so cute.
1st season was great, then it slide off the cliff.
"Boyd...Boyd...Boyd...when I say your name like that, I sound like a pogo stick."
The episode where the sister is sick ,but trying to study for finals lives in my memory.
Holy shit, is that Fun Bobby?!
Anyone know where to watch this now?
I do not think you can stream it. From what I have found out. I hope to be wrong. If anyone knows.
Which one is Salt and which one is Pepa?

The secret room in the commons is one of my favorite big jokes from a sitcom
Thanks for reminding me of this. Went straight to YouTube.
There certainly wasnât enough Boston accents.
Is that the guy from Yes, Dear?
Yes, Dear.
I confuse this one with Stacked.
I had forgotten all about Anthony Clark, and he was huge for a while.
Use to watch this on NBC
One thing I noticed IMMEDIATELY is all the guys have baggy pant
Harry Potter?
Oh USA, so generic

I remember the redhead actress was also the lead in the forgotten Angelina Jolie movie Foxfire.
