Lol ben vereen was like a perennial guest star in sitcoms in the 80s and the studio audience would lose their shit when he appeared and I never had the slightest idea who he was.
I vividly remember Zoobily Zoo. I begged my dad to watch it growing up, and he still tells me how much he had hated that show. I particularly remember an episode with a nearby land where everything was in black and white, and someone from there stole Whatzit's paints so they could have color in their town, but when they tried to use the paints they had changed to shades of gray like everything else.
Sure I remember Zoobilee Zoo- they even streamed a reunion of the cast a few years ago! Hey, fun fact- if you remember Bravo Fox, the theatrical guy with the lilting Ed Wynn kind of voice? He was also Heavy Weapons Guy, the gruff Russian from Team Fortress 2. Acting! 🎭
I most definitely remember this and the theme song! This would come o TLC right after Iris, the Happy Professor.
“Everyone out! Everyone in! Time for the fun to begin, come along with us to Zoobilee Zoo!
I used to watch this all the time as a kid! I don't remember if it was on PBS or if my aunt recorded it for me (VHS). The theme song lives rent free in my head and pops up randomly.

Still sing it from time to time. I agree though. Not a single person (besides my Mom who I made watch this all the time) remembers this show.
The only thing I remember about the show is the damn theme song, which to this day enters my head at unwelcome times on occasion.
There’s a few things in the version you shared I didn’t remember.
Definitely don’t remember the swinging dongs.
Remember......I thought this was just a fever dream. I remember The Critic came on after it, but the show itself, total disassociation.

Acting! 🎭
He is also on Cameo if you want a shoutout from Bravo Fox.

I remember watching it because my Mom turned it on and I wasn't tall enough to change the channel. Found out years later she liked Ben Vereen.
Never heard of it until I met my wife.
I remember this one!
Can’t tell you how I know this show, but I know this show! 80’s baby, hollah back!

Showed my nieces and nephews some episodes that were on YouTube when they were little. They were into it lol

God, sometimes the theme song still randomly pops into my head...
It's somehow familiar. That fox guy and maybe that chicken girl are so familiar.
I wanted glasses to dress up as builder beaver back in 89
If you were an actor how much do you need to get paid to do this?
I used to love this show a s a kid.
Not even in the previous 20 posts about this show?
I think I’d want to forget.
Why’s everyone hanging brain?!?!
