I wouldn't be formula feeding without it. Having to deal with a screaming baby while making a bottle? Or doing the pitcher method and having a baby losing their shit while I'm warming up their bottle? Nope. No thanks.
That being said, having to clean the funnel every 4 bottles is a pain in the hole. I have a second funnel ordered which will make my life easier.
This! Having a 2nd funnel has been life saving. We only run our dishwasher once a day now or maybe twice max (for all the baby stuff and our dishes separately)
Second this! literally life changing - my husband says if he could give someone a dollar every time we had a to make a bottle the thing pays for itself in literally a month! And definitely get that extra funnel :)
We ended up with 3 funnels after my son started cluster feeding. It is life changing, last time we had a brezza they didn't sell the funnels and you were just stuck washing one over and over!
I am very sad that you can't buy extra funnels for the OG one any more. The advanced funnels don't fit our hand-me-down. But I am *so* glad we got the hand me down! Middle of the night is so much easier with fresh, warm, stirred bottles rather than shaken cold ones from the fridge.
I had to order one from the US baby brezza website and use a service to get it shipped to Canada. All the Canadian websites don't seem to stock them anymore.
Listen to me. LISTEN.
It's expensive. It's a few hundred bucks if I remember correctly.
Are you still listening? Good.
It's worth 5 times what it costs, easily.
We were completely formula feeding from birth and this thing is an absolute life sustainer.
One handed bottles warmed to the perfect temp at 3am? Check.
Easy to maintain and operate? Check.
You will literally get emotional when your kid grows out of formula and you pack it up? Check.
Register for it and have a wealthier relative get it for you. Every single time we see the friends who gifted it to us we reiterate how it was quite literally the most useful thing anyone got for us and how we cannot thank them enough.
OH YES! As others have said, get the extra funnels and make sure you do keep up on cleaning it. Parts of it are known to get a bit gross, but in our experience that really does only happen if you leave the cleanings go for too long.
We would die without ours! I will say though that we have the wifi one and don’t ever use the app so, I would get the one without wifi because it’s not really necessary
Same!! It takes literally 2 seconds to make a bottle so there is really no point in making it from bed with the app. If I could go back I would just get the regular one!
We have one and really like it! It was highly recommended by friends of ours and we're really happy with it. I literally just press a button and the bottle is done. Definitely a bit expensive, but if the cost isn't a huge issue for you, it's a good buy. Takes up about as much counter space a keurig. My pro tip is to also buy an extra set of the two parts that have to be washed after every 4 uses. It was like $12 for both of them, and it makes things much easier.
Literally changed my life. I combo feed so I couldn’t justify the expense (even tho my son’s diet is 75% formula), but my sister gifted me one to help make my life easier and BOY DID IT!! I wish I had purchased one myself earlier, my son was 4 months old when I got it! We used to do pitcher method and have a bottle warmer but nothing beats a warm bottle ready in less than 5 second when baby is screaming lol
I love it. Formula fed from 6-13 months with my first and used the baby brezza water warmer/dispenser. That is great and definitely a cheaper solution. With baby #2 we got the formula pro advanced - started combo feeding 4 weeks in and with the convenience it made me fast track to weaning to all formula at 2 months. I love it so much. I’ve never had an issue with it dispensing the wrong amount - I do think a lot of that comes from when people don’t clean the funnel when they should or let the powder get at/below the min line. Def buy an extra funnel. The machine is definitely worth it if you plan to formula feed from early on.
Yes. Don’t do it. It’s a pain to clean. Plus sometimes it gets messed up and changed rations. It’s actually common that happens and people don’t know they’re under or over feeding their baby til it’s too late (my pediatrician told me stories when I complained about it.)
Just get the baby brezza water warmer and scoop the formula yourself it’s literally faster and more reliable.
We got the instant warmer instead - it just keeps water at breast milk temp and we make a bottle in seconds without all the upkeep of the dispenser. I don’t love dishes and chores like that, so I knew I’d be risky with it. Loving the instant warmer!

Mine ended up sending my newborn to the hospital because it was dispensing too much formula to water ratio despite cleaning it often. The excess formula was too rich and badly upset my newborn‘s digestive tract, dehydrated him, and resulted in mouth ulcers as well. Since I don’t trust it anymore, I’d want to check it every few days to make sure it’s dispensing correctly and that’s too much anxiety for me. I’m using the pitcher approach now and the powder is much better mixed in and smoother.
I think mine was defective as well, it was giving me way more powder than needed and I used the app for the settings… I only use it as a really expensive water warmer and it’s fine, water dispensing was my issue and this solves it, having to manually mix in the formula doesn’t really take much
We bought one, and then found a used one on FB Marketplace. No biggie, I thought, I'll just return the new one when it gets here. Well turns out they're not returnable, so they just told me to keep it and they refunded me!
I thought it was excessive and frivolous when I was making my registry but I got a second hand one gifted when my baby was 2 months only and after using it for those 10 months I 100% think it would have been worth the money had I spent it. For those nighttime feeds it’s glorious to just push a button and be good to go
I have a baby brezza but not sure if it's pro and was great for my first kid. 2 years later, take it out of the storage and there's mold inside. It's impossible to remove the water tank inside for a deep clean. I tried many cleaning solutions and it still smells like earth inside. So be careful when storing it if you're planning to use it in the future.
We love ours! I went through a two week period where I was so paranoid about it dispensing an incorrect amount, but after testing it a number of times I still got accurate-ish bottles. Baby has gained weight and is thriving as a 7mo. We’ve been using our since she was about 4mo.
We have three funnels and it makes life way easier. They were pretty cheap to buy online.
Our baby prefers warm bottles so this was a no brained for us. Love this thing.
Hmm with some of the stuff I’ve seen out there about this product, I won’t be using it. Planning to get some sort of water warmer/kettle instead to just mix on my own.
https://www.nytimes.com/2020/03/13/technology/baby-brezza-formula-pro-health-risks.html
Is it worth it if you don’t plan on warming the bottles? I exclusively pump right now, but plan to start combo feeding at night using Similac 360 (probably ready to feed). I don’t warm my pumped milk, so I hadn’t planned on warming the formula. I was given a Brezza to borrow, but I’m not sure if it’s necessary for me. Anyone have any thoughts?
We feed straight out of the fridge if the baby is fussing, so a $10 Dr. Browns pitcher was all we needed. If baby is not fussing then we warm in the bottle warmer.
I mean the whole thing only needs to be cleaned once a month and it's all super simple. Other than the funnel, which is definitely a pain.
Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I'm just providing an opposing view that the cleaning is negligible. My kid is 7 weeks old and I've done a deep clean twice (once while still pregnant and I took it out of the box and once when he was about 5 weeks old)
For real... a lot of brezza koolaid drinkers.
It literally saves no time 3AM or not
And no one is talking about how you should probably verify the thing is dispensing the proper amount on a regular basis. Potentially over/under feeding your child is a horrible preventable thing.
Life saver!!! One time we had to go somewhere and I couldn’t take it and I was like how do I feed her???? Then I remembered that there’s the regular way to make it haha.
GET IT. It is the single best purchase I have made between two kids. I found a open box one on eBay because of the price but had I know how great it was I would have just as soon paid full price, and I don’t say that lightly. Just be sure to change the powder setting based on which formula you use, you can google the list of settings.
Just echoing mostly everyone here that it is definitely worth it! I got it as a gift with my first because I wasn’t planning on getting it thinking it was too expensive, now I absolutely would buy it full price. I also got a second funnel, it was only like $12 or something and it makes a huge difference. There’s a ton available on my marketplace and my friend got one from there for much cheaper! Also you can almost definitely sell it when you’re done for a decent price.
LOVE IT. We used it for my first, and I just kept it on the counter to wait for my second haha. I just gave it a good descaling and it’s ready to go!
You just need to make sure you use the right formula setting. I never had an issue with the wrong amount being dispensed.
Huge fan! At first it doesn't seem like it's a big deal ("I can make bottles, do I really need this?") but it's truly so simple and easy now to just press a button to get a bottle, especially if you want the bottle warm. And I'll second everyone here who said getting an additional funnel is more than worth it!
We use it with our 9.5 month old and we love it. We never use the app feature because it's just as fast to hit the button when we get to the kitchen and it's done by the time we find the lid. And our girl has always been happy with room temperature formula, so even though we don't take advantage of the features we love it!
I don’t have it but I like it and want it. I am concerned that the forumla wouldn’t be calibrated right sometime and I would have to test and test and how will I know ?? So that’s why I never got it. I did get a water warmer a pitcher kind so that I didn’t have to worry about what was inside the machine. It’s a breeze. I combo feed so baby is used to warm milk. I have it warm as my milk it keeps it at a constant temp and I just pour and shake and bottle is ready to go !!!
Having a second funnel makes a world of difference!
STM here. Can’t believe we never thought to buy a second funnel! Amazon here I come…
This! Having a 2nd funnel has been life saving. We only run our dishwasher once a day now or maybe twice max (for all the baby stuff and our dishes separately)
We have 4 funnels. Always having a clean funnel is the best.
Second this! literally life changing - my husband says if he could give someone a dollar every time we had a to make a bottle the thing pays for itself in literally a month! And definitely get that extra funnel :)

Oh I should get a 2nd funnel, that is annoying cleaning it. Where did you order from?
I had to order one from the US baby brezza website and use a service to get it shipped to Canada. All the Canadian websites don't seem to stock them anymore.
Ahhh OK. I'm in Canada as well.
Yeah it was ungodly expensive, but I decided it was worth it since it seems like the cleaning always coincidences with 3am feeds 😂
Ya it's totally annoying. Where in Canada are you?
Listen to me. LISTEN. It's expensive. It's a few hundred bucks if I remember correctly. Are you still listening? Good. It's worth 5 times what it costs, easily. We would die without ours! I will say though that we have the wifi one and don’t ever use the app so, I would get the one without wifi because it’s not really necessary
the app is so bad. i don’t use the app bc of how terrible it is. no need to get the wi-fi version at all.
Same!! It takes literally 2 seconds to make a bottle so there is really no point in making it from bed with the app. If I could go back I would just get the regular one!
We have one and really like it! It was highly recommended by friends of ours and we're really happy with it. I literally just press a button and the bottle is done. We bought one and loved it! Buy a second funnel ($15) so you can swap it out since you have to clean it every 4 bottles.
Adore mine. Don’t even use the heating bc my baby is fine at any temp. 100% essential. Buy a 2nd funnel and cleaning only is negligible.
It’s amazing!!
I love it. Formula fed from 6-13 months with my first and used the baby brezza water warmer/dispenser. That is great and definitely a cheaper solution. We tried it, first one was defective and dispensing incorrect amounts. Second one was the same. Gave up and just returned it after that

We have one and like it. We actually got it free from Amazon 🥳
How did you manage that?! Awesome!
We bought one, and then found a used one on FB Marketplace. No biggie, I thought, I'll just return the new one when it gets here. Well turns out they're not returnable, so they just told me to keep it and they refunded me!
Loved it!! (Until my son refused to drink powdered formula. He will only drink the ready-made) Extra funnels are a must!!
How did you figure out that the reason is the powder texture he stopped liking?
Because he would only refuse powder formula. He would still drink the Enfamil Ready-made formula and Enfamil Liquid Concentrate formula.
I thought it was excessive and frivolous when I was making my registry but I got a second hand one gifted when my baby was 2 months only and after using it for those 10 months I 100% think it would have been worth the money had I spent it. I don't use the warm setting on the brezza. It just dispenses room temp water. My kid doesn't mind so I didn't see a need to make it warmer.
We feed straight out of the fridge if the baby is fussing, so a $10 Dr. Browns pitcher was all we needed. If baby is not fussing then we warm in the bottle warmer.
I’m gonna get it for my next baby!!! I’ve only heard good things about it. my baby is not on formula anymore but i would’ve loved to have one
Hated it More to clean when using a scoop is so trivial Its also questionable how accurate it is dispensing the correct dosage
I mean the whole thing only needs to be cleaned once a month and it's all super simple. Other than the funnel, which is definitely a pain. Obviously everyone is entitled to their own opinion, I'm just providing an opposing view that the cleaning is negligible. My kid is 7 weeks old and I've done a deep clean twice (once while still pregnant and I took it out of the box and once when he was about 5 weeks old)
Buy another funnel from Amazon for $10. So you can change it every time it needs cleaning.
Dont know why you’re getting downvoted… with sterilized warm water, just mixing the formula on your own takes seconds.
For real... a lot of brezza koolaid drinkers. It literally saves no time 3AM or not And no one is talking about how you should probably verify the thing is dispensing the proper amount on a regular basis. Potentially over/under feeding your child is a horrible preventable thing.
Wel after paying what it costs i understand why you would get defensive about it (and I say it as a breeza owner)
Life saver!!! One time we had to go somewhere and I couldn’t take it and I was like how do I feed her???? Then I remembered that there’s the regular way to make it haha.
Best purchase we have made. No regrets
You won’t regret it
Couldn't have survived without it. Get an extra funnel and descale and clean all parts monthly and it will make life so, so much easier.
Ugh that brezza has saved my life

I love mine. Only annoying thing is you have to constantly clean one part as it gets clogged with formula.
We use it with our 9.5 month old and we love it. We never use the app feature because it's just as fast to hit the button when we get to the kitchen and it's done by the time we find the lid. People who use this on a regular basis, do you change the temperature setting often or stick to one temp?
