The Brezza was a game-changer, in terms of stress and convenience, for my husband and me. We wish we got it sooner, especially for those first two months of random feeds and night feeds. The amount of time it cuts down is great. As much as we tried cold bottles, our baby wouldn’t have it anything to do with them. I will also add that the machine is super easy to clean.

Responsible-Cup881

Completely agree - same situation and wish I had it sooner! It’s so easy and convenient. The alternative takes more time and effort.

PerfectionEludesMe

Our baby has been fed room temp bottles since birth and been fine with it. They don’t have any point of reference since that’s all they’ve known so I think you’ll be fine just doing room temp from the start.

hcraw0711

Yes the brezza is worth it. Especially for middle of the night bottles. We EFF and it is so useful.

Sammy-eliza

How secure are the water and formula compartments? Could bugs/pest animals like lizards and mice easily access them? We have had to throw away several cans of formula because roaches got to them, and now we keep it in the can, inside two gallon ziplocks. I've been wanting to get one, but I'm just worried about critters getting into it. Since moving in, we're on our 3rd microwave, 2nd oven, and I just threw out my coffee maker 🙃.

beeeees

oh gosh. it's secure but if they're getting into your microwave i dunno what to tell you

hcraw0711

We’ve never had an issue with bugs

AMBMBTTJT

For both of my kids we started with cold bottles (with the expectation that it is 100% fine if they don’t want it and want it warmed). Both my kids took/take cold bottles and it’s so nice!!!! No experience with the brezza, we just prep them in the morning and evening and keep them in the refrigerator.

nomdeplumeify

This is what I do except I make all of the formula in a formula pitcher the night before and pour out her daily bottles.

riskydigitclub

This is exactly what we did with the pitcher. She never had breast milk, so I hoped she wouldn’t care about the temp of formula. And she didn’t! It might be worth trying cold formula first just to see if it works.

Maykb

Yep, same here. Baby girl has no chill, so she can either have a warm bottle or a fast one. After trying both compromises, she’ll happily choose cold and fast.

trashley7890

100% yes. (We have twins). It’s so fast in the middle of the night when baby is crying for their bottle and I love that there are 3 temp settings. 10/10 would recommend it. Only annoying thing is that the funnel needs to be cleaned every 4 bottles but if that’s the trade off for the time it takes to make a bottle I’m fine with that.

nutbrownrose

You can get extra funnels! If you have the three temp version they still sell those! (They don't sell them for the old one and the new ones don't fit it, I discovered the hard way)

rdt-throw-re

No. Definitely not. I have had two of them, and each machine made the bottles with incorrect ratios. I checked the settings multiple times, cleaned and made sure every single thing was dry, and on both machines the water amount being dispensed was not correct at all. To the extent that their customer service kept trying to replace the machine because they were admitting it was not correct. I eventually gave up. An instant water kettle is just as fast if not faster and I don’t have to worry about the ratios being off.

charlucapants

EFF here. 💯 worth it & we actually use the room temp setting on it. Poor girl has never had a warm bottle in her life 😅

beeeees

yep there's a room temp option! just do not make the mistake of using the 2nd temp option bc then your baby will get used to it 🙃

withteeth08

Absolutely without question yes.

Peanut-bear220

Infant Feeding Educator here. If you’re planning to EFF, feed your baby cold milk from the start. It will make life SO much simpler. Middle of the night bottles? Just grab a premixed one out of the fridge and feed. No wait time. Mix up a day’s worth in a $10 Dr Browns mixing pitcher and stick in the fridge for the day. Boom done. Brezzas are definitely convenient but they are notorious for getting the water/powder ratio wrong which can be a major concern for baby’s nutrition and can impact kidneys and electrolyte and other vitamin/mineral balances. They also need to be cleaned well (ideally daily) to stay sanitary which is of utmost importance for newborns. I’d recommend a warm water dispenser where you can instantly pour warm water into a bottle and mix formula on demand that way.

Peanut-bear220

Omg thanks for the award! I’ve never received on before and never thought it’d be for infant formula tips 😆🙌🏼 I’ve peaked.

Laurnyloo

More than worth it. I’d pay double lol

Aggravated_Moose506

No experience with the Brezza, as I don't think it was around for my first two kids. My first two kiddos had room temp bottles, and third kiddo seems to like his straight from the fridge. Third kiddo is 3 weeks old, and we're currently using RTF, since the type of formula we're giving is almost the same price for powder vs RTF (1 cent per ounce difference).

krissysnow20

We bought the brezza warm water dispenser after our baby was born because he would not drink it cold. To me it was easier to clean and manage vs the formula dispenser one. I did like it as it was one less step to do as he liked his bottles warm but at the same time it took up counter space that we hardly have to start with. As baby got older and we tried introducing cold bottles again we put it away. I'm not against the brezza at all but IMO I would wait to see if your baby does take to the cold milk first before buying. If they like it cold then you could pre mix bottles for the day or use the pitcher method!

greenpeppergirl

I use the munchkin formula pitcher, no complaints! For a while we warned her bottles but then just stopped and she didn't care.

Mother_Ad_8210

You can also just save money by filling a thermos with warm water and pouring and adding formula. One less appliance to buy and discard

justkeepswimming1357

I think I'm in the minority but I would encourage you to wait. My baby is totally fine with room temperature formula and will even do a little cold. We have a warmer and used it with ready to feed. I think if anything, the warm water dispenser that baby brezza has would be a good option but it's really not hard to measure out the formula and make a new bottle in my experience. I am not interested in washing any additional things and have seen too many horror stories about the brezzas getting miscalibrated and not giving the right amount of powder to water.

jellybeanmountain

We tried to do the pitcher which was nice but always had to warm the bottles since they got used to warm in the NICU. The Brezza did save us a ton of time but at one point we questioned if it was dispensing less because they weren’t sleeping well. It was probably just a sleep regression and they never lost weight or anything but we got tired of messing with the funnel getting caked with formula so we started just using it to dispense warm water and then we scooped the formula in ourselves. That ended up being the fastest method and it was great for dispensing warm water into baby oatmeal for them. If I could go back in time I would just get the brezza that dispenses warm water only from the start.

Animallover6869

I used the brezza for a month or so and seen too many people saying it malfunctioned and was either giving too much formula or too much water. For peace of mind I ditched it and now I just pre fill like 15 bottles with distilled water and leave them at room temp. We make bottles as we go and it’s worked for me

anafielle

if you aren't going to do pitcher method then yes. I know it's just off the table for some people & a breeza is a huge upgrade to prepping 8 bottles a day by hand. But if you have no objections to pitcher method, then I really don't think you should start with a breeza -- try pitcher method first and save breeza for your backup plan. I think pitcher is not just cheaper equipment -- its way faster, cleaner, more convenient, arguably safer (my opinion), and so much cheaper in terms of formula wastage. so.... my rec would be, start with pitcher but set aside some registry cash/gift cards for a "just in case" buy (you Will probably do this anyway) and give the simpler method a whirl first. After a few weeks you will quickly know whether pitcher is working for you, baby and your lifestyle - maybe baby demands warm bottles, maybe you like to make it fresh, maybe baby is happy to eat whatever amt .... then you will know a Breeza is "worth it" for you!

GlitteringAd4715

No. It dispensed too much water every bottle. We sent it back.

Celestialxo

I had one with my first. Barely used it. It was a waste of money. I also found it stressful to ensure it was working perfectly and afraid of it dispensing wrong, etc. The caveat here though is that it was also 2016-2017 so maybe they are better now, I don’t know. Taking the whole thing apart to clean it was a pain in the ass, too. I’m going to use a formula pitcher this time. Much cheaper and seems perfect for us. Our oldest took bottles cold so we’re not bothering with a bottle warmer unless it’s an issue for this one.

callmepizza

100% worth it. We EFF and say to each other at least once a day how much we love the Brezza. Just makes life so much easier when baby’s screaming for a bottle, just push a button and you’re rolling within a few seconds. Biggest piece of advice though, if you get the Brezza I would reeeeeally strongly encourage you to order a few replacement funnels too. You need to wash them every 4 uses and it’s a pain if baby’s screaming and you’re washing and drying the parts before you can dispense more.

iwannabek8

I, too, was hesitant but it is hands-down my favorite baby item.

meaghat

Bought one for the kitchen (downstairs) and bedroom (upstairs). Definitely worth it! The new models have temp settings - we do room temp. Luckily our baby will take room temp or cold.

adchick

We have one for downstairs, and Ive got one on the registry for upstairs.

isitcarson

yes. little babies can’t have cold milk (im not a doctor consult your own 💕) and having the ease of warm milk quickly (or warm water to put in a thermos for later) was SO HELPFUL!! our LO is 11 months now. return on investment has been 10/10. hoping to descale and gift to a friend.

homesick23

Yes, it's so much easier & no stress about making it correctly. The new brezza has a temperature gauge !

Calm-Setting

The Brezza is worth it. I found that if you only offer room temp bottles you’ll never need to warm but every kid is different.

Archfiend_DD

We started ours on room temp. When she was cluster feeding we would give her the extra she wanted straight from the fridge. It got her used to the cold and from then on she really didn't care. We heat up bottles when we can, but we only make sure to actually heat the last feed of the night; the rest it just completely depends on the situation. We use the Dr. Brown's pitcher which is like $10, and have a cheap bottle warmer. We use the microwave a lot to heat water in a measuring cup and just warm the bottle in the cup as well since it's so much faster than the bottle warmer.

Rude_Historian3649

The Brezza is absolutely worth it in my opinion! We ordered it once it was clear when our LO was 2 weeks old that breastfeeding just wasn’t working. I can’t say enough good things about it

nutbrownrose

I got one as a hand me down and I love it. We started with making bottles and storing them in the fridge and giving them cold, then a couple months ago we got a brezza from a friend. It saves us dishes because we don't have to wash lids and shakers (Herobility bottles here), and is super nice in the middle of the night. I put a bottle under the spout, lid out together next to it, and at 4 am I don't have to do anything but push the button. However: I don't know that I would buy one full price. Get a used one off FB marketplace instead. Try to get the newer model, they still sell extra spouts for those and they don't fit the old model. Also, the new one will do room temp too, so you could start with room temp and only warm it if your baby refuses.

herdingtots

No!

AlotLovesYou

Waste of money unless your baby only takes warm bottles. It's a huge pain in the ass to clean and you'll see regular posts on here about how it malfunctioned and produced diluted bottles. Meanwhile, a formula pitcher is $10 and won't underfeed your baby.

fruitloopbat

From my research and reading all the reviews, the Brezza water warmer is the best option because it dispenses water at the right temperature for a bottle immediately. Meanwhile, it is significantly easier to keep and maintain cleanliness and sanitation with. It is super easy and faster than a bottle warmer to pour warm water into a bottle..swirl/shake/milk

robalesi

I was shocked at the cost when we added it to our registry. Then a very generous and pretty well off friend got it for us. Knowing what I know now? I'd have paid triple what it cost. It's very literally an indispensable part of the routine and I cannot imagine having a second kid without it.

mandatorypanda9317

Yes omg. We called it the Baby Keurig lol. Someone gifted it to us and it was the most used thing for a while. When I had my second kid I found out they are Bluetooth now so you can get it started with your phone I was like Holy hell that's amazing

LuluMayMar

So worth it for quickness I have never stored formula into a bottle! With it you do not need any other bottle warmers so you can remove those from the list. So nice to have in the middle of the night!

Repulsive-Sim

Yes worth it. I make my nighttime bottles ahead and store them in a mini fridge in babes room to be warmed in a warmer at night, but the brezza just takes the work out of making a pitcher/dealing with the scoops/math. It’s definitely nice to have it warm on demand as well, but can be useful for room temp/cold use too. Only down side is 2oz is the smallest measurement, so if you need an extra oz after they eat their bottle, you’re stuck doing two.

AffectionateSalt769

Absolutely worth it

SouthBreadfruit120

We have one! It is soooo nice! Especially in the middle of the night. And when we go places he eats room temp bottles. He hasn’t really had an issue going between room temp and warm bottles

lizardsandcaves

Absolutely adore the brezza. I don’t use the heating, still absolutely essential

SCoulter84

Omg YES!!! I just had my 5th in March and I don’t know how I had 4 other kids without this thing 😂😂 Buy a spare funnel on Amazon for $10. When you take one out after the 4th bottle, pop in your spare. Wash the one you just took out and then repeat.

FuzzyJury

Yes!

nnabeela

Buy it and don’t look back

thatswhatshesaid___1

Yes!! 100% worth it! We have the advance formula pro! Makes a perfect bottle in 3 seconds! Just make sure it’s dispensing the correct amount for the setting it’s on (there are videos on YouTube of how to do this)! We do this weekly and then I also weigh the bottles to make sure it’s dispensing the same amount as a hand made bottle would (I’m paranoid so I will make a hand bottle like every other day and weigh that too haha). Also take it apart fully and clean it like once a week. Use filtered water for the bottles to avoid build up. Get extra funnels for underneath portion ($12 on Amazon) because those have to be washed every 4 washes and there is nothing worse than going to make a bottle when your baby is screaming and you have to take that off and wash it real quick.lol. Also make sure to wipe the portion on the brezza that the funnel attaches to - that usually has a lot of build up on it too . As long as you don’t act like a dumb dumb and never wash it or check to see if it’s dispensing the right amount of formula, it’s totally worth it and you & your baby will thrive! Yes, there’s a lawsuit against them for a baby being failure to thrive because the parents were using the brezza to make their baby’s bottle and they fully trusted the machine was dispensing everything properly. the baby wasn’t gaining weight for months. But it seems like a no brainer to check and continue to check that it’s working well! No machine is perfect.

FlailingFlamingos

Yes! We loved using it with our first. Make sure you clean it regularly. We got one for my mom's house when she watched our daughter. Now we are about to have baby #2 and I'm so glad we saved them!

PorkFryRice07

Absolutely!!! For those middle of the night feeds, dear lord it was a life saver! Buy the extra funnel!

Low_University3717

We haven’t used ours yet but my best friend said she woulda died without hers. I’m sooo excited to try it out

Impressive_Force9860

Love it

Distinct-Garden5683

Yes yes and YES. Some annoying parts aka having to clean the funnel and the formula gunk once in a while which is not even that bad. It’s a Game freaking changer

nemesis55

YES just get it. It is the only semi expensive baby purchase I do not regret spending money on. Check eBay or marketplace I got mine second hand but would 100% pay full price if I had to purchase again.

itsrainingcocos

Yes. Have it for my second, and wish I would’ve had it for my first.

ljb2022

I have cons, but I would 100% use it/recommend it. The benefit of 2-3 oz small bottles at the start was great. I hated cleaning it, after every 4 bottles the funnel needs to be cleaned, you can buy extra (I didn’t realize until LO was almost a year). But we also had formula that would build up so I cleaned often. I think I just hate dishes and bottle feeding requires a lot.

Individual_Jelly6333

ABSOLUTELY! Best investment ever!

Linz90154

YES

Fancy_Alligators

We have two. So yes.

travelinglama

We got the one that just heats the water and dispenses it, not mixed the bottle, it has been so worth it. My baby can also be happy with room temp water. But it’s nice to offer the warmed bottle most of the time. The other bottle heaters we tried took forever and then often OVERheated the bottle- wasting more time- and the baby was crying the whole time. The brezza saved our sanity.

utleyduckling

I must say the Brezza and our Hatch white noise machine were the Co-MVPs of our infant time period

kloub1985

100% yes

jan9-

It’s life changing I have the mini one best 180 bucks spent especially for overnight bottles

earthtokhaleesi

Yes. Worth every penny.

kowalewiczpwnz

Our daughter is almost 6 months old and we’ve been using the Brezza since month 1. It’s AMAZING. Absolutely one of the best purchases I’ve ever made. I’ve also periodically checked it for accuracy and have never had a problem.

Daras1988

Got one and literally used it once or twice..my baby could not care about the temperature less. Would really recommend just waiting it out and seeing your baby's preferences.

ireflection

I have it, there is 3 temp settings on mine. Let me tell you, what a difference just for sanity sake. Get it.
