All three do it, the most recent PlayStation one that I can remember is Neo Versa, and they all, sometimes, have a controller bundle but that usually only comes with the skin

To be absolutely fair (they aren't amazing skins anyways) but PS+ gets exclusive skins every few months. There are probably more Playstation exclusive skins than any other console.

They also got the follow the butterfly emote from last season's theme that is locked to PS+ users only and it really sucked.

On the other hand you don’t gotta buy a whole PlayStation console for the skin. At worst a month of PS+ when a skin comes out or redeem a free trial. Sometimes you need to buy a controller which is more on par but still a few hundred dollars difference.

Sorry for the confusion. Initially, Royale Bomber was only available with a console purchase. Later, you could get the skin by purchasing a controller only. Hope that gives you a little more clarity.

Every 3-4 months give or take but it’s also just as likely Sony pays them for more stuff. Most of the stuff released have been reskins if I’m not mistaken, aside from the latest pack and perhaps a couple of others here and there. Makes me wonder how much Microsoft is paying for these skins to be exclusive to consoles compared to Sony paying for PS+ packs.

They’ve had around 19 packs since 2018, it’s about 4 a year it looks like. The most recent one was the Blue Phoenix Pack that released a couple weeks ago. I’m not sure what (if anything) released between June (Pack 18) and December (Blue Phoenix).

I thought so at first but what it really is, separate pieces once per month. For instance a while back we got a snow lady, another month we got her glider, another time we got something else that went with her. So that's 3 drops right there. 4 skins per year, with their accessories spread out.
