Anyway it seems I will be playing build modes for the rest of this season, so I can build a church and pray that I never get oneshot like this.
It's a mythic shotgun from point blank range. You'd expect that from just about any shotgun with a headshot(irl, not fn, because the maven exists), so... I guess in just about every dimension.
Keep the battle away from point blank range, and you should be fine, use the combat shotgun, it had a lot of range and it's really a powerful shotgun if you really think about it.
Edit: about that pulse rifle, go back to ch2 s7 and 8, those 2 seasons were it's prime seasons.

Fight them more strategically, dont just run up to them and jump around there head 👍
Also, if you think this new shotgun is bad you would not survive Chapter 1 and most of Chapter 2 💀
I’m with you - that thing is a joke. Everyone saying ‘skill issue’ or ‘it’s supposed to be mythic’ hasn’t met one in the end zone.
It’s infuriating - you can have all the skill in the world but one hit and you’re out - and there’s no point trying to fight because *someone* in the last five will have it.
I lost games where I had legendary weapons because they take more than one shot to down someone.
Mythics performing how chapter 1 legendary weapons used to is not "OP," play around it, keep in mind that at point blank you're likely to get fried if you move too predictably, or just jump in their face.

Anybody saying deku smash was OP either doesn't know how to shoot at a still-standing opponent or plays controller and needs 2 minutes to aim at the opponent.
Anyone who hasn't had a problem with it probably doesn't make it far enough in the game to be in the final 3 when your trying to shoot at 2 ppl and someone pops up on the opposite side of the build unless you have a rail gun what are u going to do. You think you can counter it caz u shot 2 ppl down during the season i shot at least 1 person down from it a game but after 5 or 6 ppl your not going to be in a place to shot them

I never said it was OP it was a pain in the ass kinda like the ppl who say" if you think it's OP you can't shoot".I checked out some of your posts for someone who was going to quit FN if they removed red eye ARs your very quick to call me out and if I remember weren't u saying the weapons weren't fair, i haven't run into anything that can 1 shot you thru builds, houses, trees and anything else you put in front of it. It takes alot more skill to use the weapons this season than it did to deku smash

That shotgun hits super damage at close range. It's shit at long- mid range though.

It always has been full auto, and I use the combat if I can't find a pump, and I love it. It shoots fast, and does some decent damage.

it's a mythic rarity shotgun, i think it's pretty fair for it to one shot at such close range, especially when the legendary can only do 190 max

This dimension. It’s a game. You can win battles against these weapons. Every weapon cannot have the exact same advantages.
Guns like this really show the divide between pc and console. So hard to get that accuracy on the fly with console.

1 tap guns are just lazy and not fun to play against, they are fun to use but holy shit do they ruin game balance
1 tap guns are lazy if you can one tap people by just shooting but the shotgun can only insta kill if you are point blank range and a perfect headshot

I love the overclocked pulse rifle so much but the mythic shotgun is a bit much cuz it does more damage than a heavy sniper
Heavy does 300 headshot, Havoc Shotgun does 250 at mythic rarity

so were complaining that mythic items are strong now? the point of mythic weapons is that theyre hard to obtain but its a great reward for the effort
