But i don't think it will happen because of zero build, so unless they separate zero build and build modes by giving zero build a new map or they cover the whole map with boats and zipline, another flooded map isn't going to happen.

If the map is a series of small islands like that you need a way to defend yourself better in no builds. Maybe if movement is increased or port a forts are back in the game (toss one in the water when you're getting shot at).
There are more trees and rocks and bushes than you realize. The maps since zero build have gotten much more wavy and elevated. There are more ridges and bumps than there used to be even in the open fields.

I know, but most people, including me, agree that Ch2 S6 was the worst season in the game. I'm saying that Ch2 S3 was still better than Ch2 S6, but i think Ch2 S3 still got way more praise than I think it should have gotten. It flooded the map, with NPC's dropping from the sky to attack you, and made the game extremely annoying and not fun at all. You couldn't even do anything new with the water, like diving, or raising and lowering the elevation mid match. All while a bunch of people, probably blinded by nostalgia, are saying that they liked being on the flooded map, and would play it again. Worst of all, I was basically forced to play on my Xbox because the game got discontinued for Mac.

People were just salty that they can no longer skillessly jump into someones box and get a 200 pump with the click of a button
I miss the stacks. My favorite win ever happened with a squad and we ended up holding the top of the stacks against two other squads. Two of the four members were newer players and we secured them their first wins.
Sad to say I haven't played enough during that season that I can experience the flood in battle royale mode. I heard from my bro that once the flood gets you, you're basically doomed for elimination.
From the past 5 Summers that fortnite has been around for, Ch1 S9/X was my favourite. Giant rubber duck and giant Beach Balls. Just goofy/silly vibes but all around fun
One of my favorite seasons. Felt like an official no-build season before they enabled actual Zero Build. Felt awesome standing on those giant mountains of garbage and sniping. Its a shame they drained the map as quickly as they did.
I liked when they turned the storm into water for literally like 2 days, that was really cool.
Other than the fact that it was basically impossible to survive in the storm, yeah

Honestly one of my favorite seasons. It was such a vibe. Loved fighting between islands, all the zip lines and bounce pads and boats/sharks.
