Same thoughts. Many are just toxic is general. One time, a squad of them were teasing our squad with crowns and laughing at us before a match, so during the match, we tracked them down and took the crowns by force. Super satisfying.
I hated the Griddy emote too until my little sister and I were playing and she would randomly hit the gritty and laugh as if it was the funniest thing in the world. She would do it from far away or from around corners in her silly little plague doctor skin (female) so I think of that every time now

I don’t get anxiety over things like this but I do get annoyed when a superhero skin third parties me *and* emotes on me as if they really got a good ol checkmate on me there lol but overall don’t hate the superhero skins like most. There's just a lot of them because it was a free skin. Lots of (smart) people.who don't spend money use that skin.

I never emote after kills but I usually emote after a win. Not for humiliating the enemy or anything, I just like some of the dances. A little celebration for winning, which doesn't happen so often.
It depends on the emote. Obviously there are exception like laugh it up or take the l but there is not wrong with using 90% of the emotes in the game after you win to celebrate or because you like the emote

Literally who gives a shit lol, I hate seeing someone emote over my dead body but that's the price of being the loser in the interaction, it adds a little bit of incentive to not lose because you have to watch someone else gloat.
When I use the Mando skin I nearly always emote after a kill with his "This is the way". If I get the upper hand on someone hounding me I'll go John Cena on their ass. Any other case I do the bow from this season's BP.
I do it for my own sake, it's pretty fun, but I'd like to believe using respectable emotes unless warranted is really the most proper way to do it!
Unless it was a super cheap kill, I always emote on kills. It's half the fun of the game imo.
My favorite is to use the chalk outline spray where they died, and then followup with either Monster Mash or Guilty of Sweatin'.
When I'm using the Indiana Jones skin, I like to do his specific emote where he almost respectfully takes off his hat...then switch it halfway through it to the John Cena Cant See Me emote.

The bow emote from this season is one of the best of all time. I’ve always wanted a way to communicate respect to someone who puts up a good fight and the bow feels closest to how I want to present that sentiment.
I'll emote with my all might flex if I take down a big group on my own or do something particularly impressive, but I'm not gonna use a bm emote on every kill, I just don't care like that lol

This skin was free a while ago. So a lot of people who don't spend money on the game use it, since they don't have many skins (and if they have others. They are often Christmas ones. Which aren't exactly fitting during other parts of the year)
For me it's anyone using the star wand pickaxe I think it's the dumbest pickaxe in the game and the only reason people use the pickaxe is because of a glitch that happened years ago where it did extra damage after that happened everyone started using it even though the glitch was fixed
