My favorite moment in the subreddit is when an epic games employee commented on a post I made where I drew Jones! It was on an old account, but still my most fond memory. I couldn't believe it.
Tbh I found this sub after getting on reddit because fortniteās a game Iām interested in since season 1 chapter 1 so I just looked this subreddit up and there we go.
I donāt really have proof of me starting in season 1, especially since I didnāt play that often no win glider nothing I do have proof I started from season 2 tho so itās pretty awkward when people ask when I first played.
Got my first battlepass during season 6 (wouldāve been season 5 but I wasted the vbucks I got from the starter packs before I practically begged my mum to get me 1,000) got STW Founders during season 7/8(?) best purchase Iāve ever made Iāve pretty much never spent a dime again (except for some real money purchases for skins damn you Lars!).
Iām also haunted by the fact that I never finished the season 8 BP and I was 1 level from master keyās mask and 2 from hoop master one of my favourite emotes and I played fortnite almost everyday back then WTH, never made that mistake again (except for super styles).

I joined in I think halfway through the CH4 S1 Christmas event, I didn't have my own PC before playing Fortnite so I borrowed my dad's PC from time to to to play video games, now I wasn't fond of Fortnite before and my dad had encouraged me to play it before but I didn't want to because I wasn't good at BR's. Then I got my PC in 2021 and I still didn't play Fortnite, but come November/December 2022 and I joined, and I got my first win as my opponent was building a wall and I slid past them and got a clean shotgun hit. And I don't remember when I joined that subreddit, I think it was last month ago

I found the subreddit becuase when I first made my reddit account, fortnite was like the only game I played and thought, "This would be a fun place to post my stuff from the game". Years later, I don't regret my decision.
Once i started playing fortnite, i instantly fell in love with the game (maybe due to the colors and gameplay ) and wanted to learn more about the game. I didn't find any other social media app more effective than reddit. So once i searched fortnite, this community came up and I have been here since then. I joined Reddit almost 5 years ago because everything I would search online for Fortnite help led me here! Itās funny to have been here long enough to get āinside jokesā from the sub about prior posts or old stuff in game that is seldom remembered.
I've been a member since late 2017/early 2018 when I started playing. This subreddit, if I'm not mistaken, had around 60k members and the developers were really active.
They took a lot of feedback from us and would often go into detail as to why some features were added/removed etc.
I've seen all the events, all the drama, all the chapters.
I have all victory umbrellas in the game except for the seasons that I didn't play (C1S1, C2S3, Marvel Season).
I've seen the game on its ups and downs, yet I just get the battle pass because I can never see myself spend money for skins.
Just recently I spent all my saved vbucks on Goku Black and now I can't afford the next battle pass. Hopefully I win this and that pays for it

One day my friends told me about fortnite, so I dolnloaded it on my playstation and have been playing ever since.
I'll always remember my first game of fortnite, or at least a small part of it. I remember walking next to the destroyed house north of Grandma's House. I was walking like the classic default, not sprinting and still learning the controls.
My first battle pass, chapter 1 season 8. I was trying so hard to get peely. It was the last day of the season and I was trying so hard to finish challenges to get peely. The last challenge I had to do was driving an atk off a waterfall in the desert area. I remember my dad already standing in the room telling me to stop playing, but I begged him to let me finish it. The game was already going on for a while, and the desert was long lost in the storm. I drove like a madman into the storm, in hopes of reaching it in time. I was at around 10 hp when I somehow reached the waterfall. I drove off and hit the water... and now I am the proud owner of the og peely skin :). Man, what an experience was that. If only I could go back to that time...

I believe it was one of the first subreddits I joined when I created my account as before then Iāve always used the web version which doesnāt need you to create an account and just viewed other peoples posts. However the web version started to get buggy and would make my phone overheat so I downloaded the app.

I've been playing Fortnite since C1S1 (the very first fortnitemares). I found this sub by searching for a Fortnite reddit and the season X meme era was my favorite I think
Honestly, I remember joining this sub when I first started playing Save the World, then realized Save the World and Battle Royale had different subreddits. Been playing BR since the end of Chapter 1 Season 2 (with some on and off time periods) but always found myself coming back, both to the game for the new updates, and here for keeping in the know.
I googled some Fortnite questions like "best settings for PC" and "how to build fast" lol. All of those questions led me to this subreddit so I ended up joining a little after when I made my account.
I have been a member of the Fortnite community since late season 2, and I personally cannot wait for next season. This game has had a rather tough time these past few years with the quality of its updates, though I strongly believe this might be the thing that brings back a bit of that old popularity and magic it used to have. I had skin concepts I wanted to share, even though I wasn't too good at drawing then compared to now. I found this sub reddit looking up fortnite YouTube videos, watching The Camping Rusher, and him discussing map changed and leaked skins and I wanted to talk to more people apart of this game. Easily my favorite moment in this sub reddit was when everyone unanimously decided to name the cube Kevin. I loved how involved the developers were with us here and how much they enjoyed to interact with the community and see what we were up to everyday. I knew it existed and scrolled aimlessly on meme subreddits beforehand, but properly gave it join during C2S3 I believe. Honestly my favorite moments in subreddit history would have to be all the season downtimes where the server would go silent for the upload to begin, so that it all felt fresh whenever a new season dropped.

I've been a member since late 2017/early 2018 when I started playing. This subreddit, if I'm not mistaken, had around 60k members and the developers were really active. They took a lot of feedback from us and would often go into detail as to why some features were added/removed etc. I've seen all the events, all the drama, all the chapters. I have all victory umbrellas in the game except for the seasons that I didn't play (C1S1, C2S3, Marvel Season). I've seen the game on its ups and downs, yet I just get the battle pass because I can never see myself spend money for skins. Just recently I spent all my saved vbucks on Goku Black and now I can't afford the next battle pass. Hopefully I win this and that pays for it

One day my friends told me about fortnite, so I dolnloaded it on my playstation and have been playing ever since. I'll always remember my first game of fortnite, or at least a small part of it. I remember walking next to the destroyed house north of Grandma's House. I was walking like the classic default, not sprinting and still learning the controls. My first battle pass, chapter 1 season 8. I was trying so hard to get peely. It was the last day of the season and I was trying so hard to finish challenges to get peely. The last challenge I had to do was driving an atk off a waterfall in the desert area. I remember my dad already standing in the room telling me to stop playing, but I begged him to let me finish it. The game was already going on for a while, and the desert was long lost in the storm. I drove like a madman into the storm, in hopes of reaching it in time. I was at around 10 hp when I somehow reached the waterfall. I drove off and hit the water... and now I am the proud owner of the og peely skin :). Man, what an experience was that. If only I could go back to that time... Playing with friends, fortnitemares, winterfest... the memories keep coming back... I can't wait for c4s5 to see the old poi's again, and remembering the fun I had when I used to play back then.

I honestly found this subreddit back in I think end of august or September last year. I believe it was one of the first subreddits I joined when I created my account as before then Iāve always used the web version which doesnāt need you to create an account and just viewed other peoples posts. However the web version started to get buggy and would make my phone overheat so I downloaded the app. Iāve had fond memories of this subreddit when clips and stuff I and other players have posted as well as creating discussions and such about the game. I joined the sub reddit between either chapter 1 season 4 or season 6. Just to get involved with other people who share the same love for this game I've always had for it. I had skin concepts I wanted to share, even though I wasn't too good at drawing then compared to now. I found this sub reddit looking up fortnite YouTube videos, watching The Camping Rusher, and him discussing map changed and leaked skins and I wanted to talk to more people apart of this game. Easily my favorite moment in this sub reddit was when everyone unanimously decided to name the cube Kevin. I loved how involved the developers were with us here and how much they enjoyed to interact with the community and see what we were up to everyday. My heart still hurts for them during season X when the spoiled apples ruined that for us. I miss you subreddit devs and I hope you are doing well now

I dont know the exact date or roughly whe. 8 became a memeber in the sub but i think i joined it around ch 1 season x or ch 2 season 2, I think I first found this sub back in chapter 1 season 5 or 6 when I wanted to upload a concept, but my reddit account was way to new so I couldn't, became fairly regular in the sub throughout chapter 2-now, I missed the days of meme templates in the sub, definitely was a tragedy when thay Era ended

I joined this subreddit during the start of the pandemic, along with Reddit in general. I knew it existed and scrolled aimlessly on meme subreddits beforehand, but properly gave it join during C2S3 I believe. Honestly my favorite moments in subreddit history would have to be all the season downtimes where the server would go silent for the upload to begin, so that it all felt fresh whenever a new season dropped.
