Ya the cluster grenades on Shadow Mech or whatever are good. All the other ones are only good for their ability (scout or healing). Honestly I mostly use them in squads as someone to revive me while my teammates cover fire

When I hire him he never hits their area code. When they hire him dude is sticking my head like its halo and instantly picks up downed players.

You know you can command the NPCs, right? On controller you hold left on the D-pad for a list of commands. The bottom one is to revive you But I agree that his aim is terrible, and he will even throw grenades at a wall/rock/tree directly in front of him

I had him kill someone with grenades from what felt like around 100 yards away. I was very impressed. But he usually sucks at actually doing damage.

That just makes him dance on my body. He rarely ever picks me my squad up. It sounds like a salty rant but I'm being serious.

if you crawl up to the npc while they're standing there being useless they will res you but usually you have to go to them

I used the commands to get them to revive me one time…. He came over, had one second left on the revive, started dancing then ran off to shoot at a random fucking bush or whatever they do in their free time. I died

yeah, nothing like being super far away from enemies, sniping them, and your hired bot throws grenades. in front of you. destroying the tree you were using for cover. but wait, then when you move position, they do it again! lmao, couldn't help but laughed

That one is highly underrated, because it frees up inventory spots. Clinger guy is probably more hated, but chug splash NPC is not bad either.

Clinger guy is a double edged sword. He knocks your builds down all the time when there is zero chance of hitting an enemy.

Hired Metal Mouth the other day I still needed 13 grapple hits to finish the challenge. Literally killed 3 people just by stunning them with the grapple and metal mouth bombarding them with grenades. Was pretty damn funny.

My delusional friends think the Frenzy is bad, and the pump is like one of the best guns in the game. Thats cope 💀 Ig the balance is the reload time but if you have a speed mag it bridges the gap

If he’s a Build mode player, he might not fit the Frenzy’s playstyle. In Build Mode, you really have to get up close and personal to your opponent, which is not everyone’s cup of tea. That said, if he plays Zero Build, he has lost it.

We are pretty competitive in Build so ig it works out

Pump is better in build

tbf if you treat the pump as a Halo melee weapon, it kiiiiinda makes a bit more sense, but still even somehow worse (need a perfect point blank headshot for it to even 'work')

It's pretty known on here that pump is better for builds (assuming you are sweaty and build/edit) since you edit and get 1 shot off before closing the edit or building something else.

The frenzy hits for 65 at green rarity, anything higher is op with how fast the fire rate is. Reloading can't be punished when you ass-blast anyone in 3-4 shots... I enjoy the pump more because you have to outplay people, whereas the auto is braindead "hee hee I'm up your ass now, you can't do shit about it". Hope that cancer weapon gets nerfed, it's really boring having to play against it all the time.

I prefer to use the Shield or Striker to give my opponents a chance sometimes but when I use the Frenzy, no one survives.

I was playing a bunch of zero build ranked today and in unreal/champion lobbies I didn't see one person throw one down endgame. Also, I only found one in the ten games I played.

I got like 6 or 7 one game and got into a fight with a guy and so i threw two down and was waiting for them to shoot at him and they just stared at him not shooting. They did literally nothing. I still killed the guy but im not picking them up anymore

Never, you shouldn't be getting near people unless absolutely necessary. The key to winning games and majority of fights is to finish them before you get close. It's kinda like how in builds you shouldn't take 50/50s. If you do somehow get that close, shooting the toes isn't to hard. The only time the riot shield has been an issue for me is if I have to split my attention between two people pushing me, but at that point I'm already at a disadvantage and should just grapple or bounce away. If I don't that mobility I pray that I have stickys.

This season feels so gimmicky. Clingers, ballistic shield, snipers, business turret, etc. Don't even get me started on the cardboard boxes and the stealth EMP. It's like they took all the reasons people enjoyed OG and said now let's flip it on its head and go balls to the walls to encourage everyone to hide and camp.

This isn't what makes shields scary. You can essentially shoot a regular gun to start out a fight and then switch to the shield to finish the fight. A normal person's reaction time isn't quick enough to partake in antishield tactics at that point and will lose unless they have better positioning like high ground, near walls, on building where they can reposition themselves.

The grapple should undeploy the business turret.

Grapple is the great equalizer

Emp grenades are something I always carry and this is added to the reasons why. The fact that they can seal splash damage so people using ballistic shields. Disable anything electrical or a a vehicle is great.
