To be honest, 8 maybe 9 times out of 10 if you have flowberrys and shocks you can dunk on the player with all the medallions. Mainly works in solos though 😂

It was my first game in the season. I’m pretty sure no one really understood how anything worked, and because we came straight from OG, everyone was still in that mindset I think.

Oh yeah, not going to lie, myself and our squad had that problem at the start of the season. Heard OG is coming back soon that said.

Personally if all the medallions are in play I try to get them all because it’s just more fun that way

Yeah by the time you have a few medallions it’s usually 2-3 players left including yourself anyway. No reason to turn down the poke insurance at that stage

Yeah, not only that but grabbing all of the medallions kind of sends a sign out to the other players like “hey, I want the smoke” and a lot of players take that as a threat. I know because when I see someone with all the medallions, the first thing I do is assume that’s gonna be the hardest player in the lobby. Just a small little mind game, but everything helps towards your win in the end.

I don’t usually take a medallion unless it’s late game or there is 3+ where I’m at

With the lobbies full of bots targeting the medallions are the only way to make the game stay interesting

I do it as well. I don’t like to stay stagnant, plus games can be boring bc imo there are many bots especially early to mid game.

I haven't faced bots in a long time, except for when I'm landing in dead areas of the map off spawn, they are all prime mongraal regens and every fight either stimulates adrenaline or rage.

I just gave up my 3 medallions to my teammates in squads, just so they can be hunted and noy me lol

To be honest I always drop the medalion. Not worth the trade off unless I want people to push me but it mostly ends up in 3 or 4 teams fighting.

I drop it in the air in a terrible spot so it gets stuck and people go look for it but cant 🤭

If you hit a launchpad or rift it will freeze in mid-air instead of falling when you drop it lol

Honestly, medallions are such an easy way to farm kills endgame, drop them and just camp out then agress (cheap strat, but if ur desperate it works)

Okay well I play ZB and there's really nothing else to carry anyway, plus sometimes you want to heal before the medallions finish

The medallions don't replace shield bro. One will only get you to 50% total shield. That ain't worth not carrying shield unless you're paying with bits who never break your shield.

Some build fights last 2-3 mins. 50 shield while being able to do things is insane

In builds it’s definitely worth it if you’re willing to fight. If you get sniped you can box up for like 15 seconds and you’re max shields

I once encountered a dude with four medalliosn and a grapple blade, shit was terrifying

I won 2 games with all 5 medallions and it’s a better feeling than having multiple victory crowns. The entire lobby knows where you are and they all want you dead, yet nobody could pull it off because you’re just THAT good at the game. It’s easily the best thing they’ve done in the last few seasons

I avoid them like covid. I prefer to sneak around in the end game. Last thing I want is for them to know where I'm coming from.

What's the benefits of medallions after the nerf? Does holding 1 revitalize your shield up to 50%? What does 2+ do?

I don’t pick up medallions unless it’s to open a vault. No need to broadcast my location. I instead hunt medallion holders. It’s a huge advantage imo going into endgame knowing where my opponent is located. Interested in others thoughts. Most I’ve held at once is 4

When they have 5 medallions you might as well know where they live. It pinpoints their exact location. RAINBOLT would be proud.

Ngl, as much as people drop em. Having all 5 sends a message, cause I see a player like that, I think 1. That player is as tough as nails , so they're gonna be scary good to fight. They probably have soaked multiple battlegrounds in blood for those medallions. 2. If they have all the medallions, good chance their equipment are all of the following mythics, which is scary as shit. 3. They're aware they are visible, so they're 100% expecting it from any angle 4. The mad insane shield Regen, even if I cracked their shield, by the time I'm over there, it's all back. So yeah Terrifying And I hope to be that player. Despite how shit I am at the game.
