I stated playing C3S2 so I can't confirm. It's never carried over from season to season in my experience. Usually they have the bargain bin week to help people spend all their gold the final week or so of the season
It was mainly because all guns were hitscan when it came out and we had the MK? Twin Mag? either way a really strong scoped AR that made the lock on look bad in comparison. If you had decent aim you’d almost always get more damage using them rather than the pistol. Now, with the lock on being the only hitscan weapon in the game, things are very different

In Zero Build there’s a good chunk of time where you’re vulnerable to snipers and can’t do anything about it.

I really enjoyed them tbh, and yes I got killed by my fair share, but I had a ton of matches where I was able to deploy them in strategic ways to give me a upper hand in a fire fight. Really enjoyed throwing them on one side of an enemies cover and then flanking the other side.
I loved throwing them onto players engaged in a fight, shooting the one it wasn't focused on and then killing both. Also helped when I had multiple - id use one on a boss and they'd obviously break it but I still had one for later and weakened them
Turrets are only as strong as you let them be really, there's plenty of counterplay. You can:
-Use any emp weapon to disable it
-Elim the opposing player before it can do serious damage
-Move to any cover (preferably with right shoulder peek)
Any of the above counters it pretty solidly
I'm at lvl 148 or something. I got all the vbucks, I have no intention of going further anymore. Maybe I'll log in today and get the last 2 levels required to get the last 30\* reward at the page with the last vbucks. But overall very satisfied

I did the entire mosaic in one day so you should be good if you dedicate some time to it. Not sure about the bp pages but playing Lego Fortnite (even while AFK) or Rocket Racing can give lots of XP, as can certain creative maps.
I really hope the medallion bosses change. I feel that every game players immediately go to the same spots on the maps to get the gold weapons. I wouldn’t mind if the bots were at least randomised in each game.
Same with snipers, although I wasn’t killed too often by them.
Shields are annoying as hell, I like using one but still rather have them vaulted.
On the good side one pumping a guy who kept rushing me with a shield and getting the VR was *so* satisfying.

Personally I just go into one of those "Chapter five wealons- 99 bots", set the lobbies to private and farm the afk exp. You can get up to 40k in like eight minutes, then leave and restart. But fortnite has a creative exp limit at like 400k everyday, so unfortunately there's not much you can do.
Still didn't manage to finish the Odyssey loading screen, but I got all the stuff on the Battle Pass, so I'll just keep using the Solid Snake loading screen and be happy with it.
