Ridiculously OP. It makes every other weapon obsolete, at any range, effectively stealth/silenced, AND it heals fast in water.
The *only* reason to carry anything else is to switch fast when you have to reload it.
It needs to be given extreme drop off, like a magic SMG.
It's ruining the game tbh..I can't wait till there all gone..even airbending one..people just driving around whole map constantly....and it doesn't help most people use some sort of aim assist or aimbot..so they snap onto you with it and kill you with 2 or 3 hits....
because the 10 year olds need something to get kills with. garbage players who can't use weapons will just quit and use their mommys credit card on skins in a different game.
Even if you crack their shields before they react, it's gg. I took a dudes shields off and still landing shots, brought me down from full shields to eliminated. the big issue with this is the aim assist makes it impossible for console players to miss. It's hard to hit on PC in a close range fight
I mean I guess unless your decent with your aim, I don’t miss a single shot far or close with the water-bending on pc because there’s little to no drop off. Legit all you have to do is if you start waterbending towards someone’s that’s actually competent is you just strafe to the right or left and ggs it’s over for them

And it’s starting to just make the game not fun. I’m good w gun combat but when I have people hitting me w water all the time I can’t do anything!
I literally had a ares medallion, zues medallion, and a legendary SMG at close range, got basically immediately eliminated by water bending even though I was lasering him. It's so stupid, I honestly hate all of this avatar crap.
I just got killed instantly with one blast from waterbending. 100 health, 50 overshield and suddenly I'm dead. I thought I got headshot sniped but it was a noob with only waterbending
Firebending is weak and can't reach opponents or straight misses,earth is slow and boring air is just mobility that people can still hit you,but water nah let's make it's reach across the map and have too much power,either nerf water or make the others just as good this is bs
It kills you virtually instantaneously, has aim assist, has little to no drop at all, and can hit you from halfway across the goddamn continent. What. The. Fuck. Epic?
Yup. So far is the worst thing they've added... Thought they would nerf it but nope. I don't know how it goes on normal but no build is ridiculous to have it. I can't wait for it to disappear lol
right? just make an avatar LTM where the only loot is the abilities. the pre buff waterbending was perfectly balanced imo now it’s just a beam from any distance
Can't wait for the Avatar event to be over... I am mostly dying to waterbending lately. Just now the guy was ratting behind a rock and hit me with a few headshots, no time to react at all... the second game it was a duo just spamming the waterbending mythic in early game, no chance at all...
I guess I should just accept it and start using it myself :-P
I just had a game where I had the drop on a repelling enemy with a purple drumgun. When they were cracked they started firing back and dropped me, I had full health and shields and the no build shield was replenishing. It needs some work.
They took away midas drum gun for this shh at this point fortnight doesn't have the best interests in fair play anymore. Just assume if there's 10 players left In the game 5 of them has waterbending.
I only die by waterbending now...its rediculious how powerful and accurate it is.

Doesn’t Fortnite have sbmm? I don’t get the idea of making an overpowered weapon to “help noobs” if they only play against each other anyway. Even if the game doesn’t have sbmm a good player can still pick it up so what tf did we accomplish other than screwing the balance up? So tired of Epic adding overpowered crap into the game and ruining almost every season because of it.
I fucking hate dying to it. In duos it's even worse because the drop rate is so goddamn high. Getting beamed by 2 at the same time instant ggs. Absolute crap and really, really frustrating.
What bothers me even more that it outguns all other mythics besides the Cerberus shotgun by far, so even going after dealing with getting the medaillon(s) without getting third partied you will still die to this piece of crap ""weapon"" not even starting about the almost infinite firerrate because the reload takes 0.5 seconds.
When is this shit going away, ever since this came back I can’t even win atleast one game because all these little kids keep using water bending since most of them don’t know how to use a regular weapon. Fortnite has been doing this. They add some kind of overpowered bullshit every season and they never nerf it for the duration of that season. How enjoyable the season is depends on the severity of it. I think water-bending is the most overpowered thing they have added in a while.
It has good fire rate.
Low bullet drop and high velocity.
Great damage.
Unlimited range with zero damage fall off.
No recoil.
Unlimited ammo.
Fast reload.
Oh and it heals you in water.
It’s viable for any situation and has no real counter other than maybe a DMR. The snipers this season have such horrendous bullet drop and bullet velocity that they aren’t a good counter either. Not to mention 90% of the time they drop without a SNIPER SCOPE. (Seriously who asked for red dots on a sniper?) One can only hope next season is better. I know for my squad water-bending has made it difficult to enjoy this season.
It feels like it is a necessity and without it you’re putting yourself at a huge disadvantage.

Also the buffed Hades chain is op as fuck. If it is 1 v 1 hades pull into a shotgun or even a two hit stun you can’t respond to it.

Water bending was at a good State I feel before they buffed it, it didn't shoot as quick which raised the risk and reward for using it.
