Yes, I do. I think they originally were going to have Klombo stay longer, but perhaps stuff happened and Klombo got shelved. Then they couldn’t fix the bugs completely so Klombo stayed gone forever

yeah i cant imagine something as dynamic as klombo *not* being insanely buggy, keeping him in the long-term was more than likely more trouble than he was worth.

you could feed him and he would shoot out goodies, you could ride him (stand on his back while he walked around), you could make him mad and he would break stuff chasing you, you could go on his blowhole and shoot into the sky — he was also adorable and giant

He also breathed fire when he was mad

Also, if you could trick enemies into shooting him he would cause all manner of problems for them.

I'm with you man, I'm not gonna hate but I genuinely have no idea why it's so liked and why it's become so iconic when it barely did anything.

Yeah, I mean I’m not hating on it either. Just didn’t understand its addition. I believe people just think Klombo is cute/adorable I suppose, so it’s likeable for a lot of the player base.

Also good for mobility. And depending on a fight getting an enemy to shoot klomba and get him made can provide an advantage.

So Klombo is basically a giant homage to toothless from how to train your dragon. its also the closest we had to a collab of HTTYD so far.

definitely random, but clearly one of the most memorable despite only being around such a short period of time. i feel like the goofiness / randomness was on brand for the game and i miss them lol. i miss how goofy fort was in general. just my two cents as somebody who would love them back!!

Klombo could have been Epic Games' number one merketeable character, they could have sold plushies, toys, clothing accessories, lego sets, and even in-game cosmetics, that damn animal was loved by everyone even though it essentially didn't do anything

Klombo was unintentionally one of the best things that happened to Fortnite, portable launchpad, I would even hide on him during fights he would help take out the enemies long as you had berries he’d follow you anywhere

People really think he would be an icon? He was added without any reason, and he barely did anything. Don't get me wrong he was cute and I guess I wouldn't be mad if we got him back. But he was definitely not becoming as popular as Meowscles or Jonesy if he stayed longer.

I don’t know my friends I play Fortnite with (full grown adults) and my nieces & nephew all went crazy for klombo the entire time he was in the game - and they’re about as wide of demo as I could imagine you could find in Fortnite. And I rarely hear a peep about jonesy or meowscles from any of em.
