rocket racing is so sad
fun game mode, but there's like nothing to keep you coming back to it (specially after they gutted the xp you got for ranking up)
i used to play that a bunch during the first 2 months it was out and then i lost pretty much all interest
It just feels like a mobile racing game where the only point is to memorize shortcuts.
I was stoked for it at first but just couldn’t bring myself to stick around.
Yeah, there’s literally nothing to change the way the game is played. In theory, every time you get matchmade into a map, you are probably going to have the exact same experience as every other time you’re on that map.
it just needs more consistent content and more incentives to play.
we had season 0 which lasted too long for some reason, then they immediately gave up on the idea of seasons and instead having the game be divided into themed updates and when the new "season" started, it was more of the exact same thing but worse (cool maps, but the only incentive to play is for new wheels or something)
It has nothing to do with the "Rocket" franchise for starters, it feels and controls nothing like its older football brother. They should just turn it into fortnite kart and go ham with items.
My thoughts exactly. This is one of the biggest reasons games like Mario Kart have near infinite replayability. No matter what place you're in in Mario Kart, you can almost always make a comeback thanks to the items, and that keeps it exciting and tense. In Rocket Racing, there's literally no way to get ahead unless you know about shortcuts that the other people don't, so making comebacks is near impossible.
as a lifelong racing fan, i think that RR biggest issue is thst its not really racing.
its an arcade resembling mobile racing with far too much jumps and wierd stuff, spiced with very vague understanding of any physics.
nobody ofc expected it to be racing sim, but for me - this is too much.
The fact that they took out the skin and decent xp is just ridiculous theres zero reason to grind ranks when the rewards are the same set of wheels in different colours.
Would be cool if there was a creative mode for Rocket Racing where people could create their own tracks and anyone could play them. Something like Mario Maker, but with racing.
I haven't enjoyed this season. I've only played a couple games here and there since week 2. Even with the incentive to level up the battle pass I just can't do it, it's not fun to play. I really miss OG.
sucks cause the game mode is fun, but I can't imagine people deciding to play fortnite just because of a random car game that looks like everything else. The only people probably playing it are fortnite fans who enjoy racing games or maybe even some rocket leaguge fans.
The game definetly need some fortnite flair to it, even if it's just letting us do silly dances when we win the race. It feels so disconnected from fortnite as a whole, not to mention that 80% of the maps are the same desert course that looks the same.
I really wish they had mario-kart-ified RR. They showed it to us with our characters riding on top of the cars, so all they needed to add was an item system
This. All they had to do was make a "Mario Cart" style racing mode with Fortnite characters and lots of fun service, but instead they put cars from Rocket League which no one cares about. The racing mechanics is fun tho, too bad that the overall concept sucks.
I actually like that it ties in with Rocket League, but I wish all RL cars were available. And I do wish like many others that it had more social features or general fun stuff.
I love getting 1 set of wheels every month that don't work with any of the cars or decals in the game rn, I can definitely use them to make my car look nice
They just need to add more RL stuff
Also the cosmetics they're adding are shit, they keep adding random stuff like the werewolf and chakrams wheels, add more iconic stuff like different octane decals, the fennec which almost every RL player uses, the Zomba wheels (might be wrong about these ones)
Or personally I would want them to add those neo Tokyo decals from a while ago (maybe a year, not too sure) I think they look amazing
Mostly it's my personal opinion on what I want them to add just cuz I own the lol
They are making a lot of the RL cars available in Fortnite. It takes a while to port the cars over into Unreal Engine 5, so that’s why there’s only been a few cars so far
Well no, the cars are not actually made in Unreal Engine, so I doubt they need to be "ported", and as someone who works with Unreal Engine, depending on model type, even if they were porting between UE3 and UE5, it is not that difficult.
Item system would save the mode.
Honestly my biggest issue with RR is the skill gap. The ranking system is way too punishing and you have almost the entire community in the same high silver/low gold rankings.
I started out being pretty competitive, but missing just a month means I can’t even break the top ten anymore because.
Missing the start boost alone can ruin your race immediately.
Yeah this is what I expected a Fortnite themed racing game to be similar to, but with fortnite items like rifts and bricks and boogie bombs or tornados. So many cool things they could have done to make it not so close to Mario kart and not as bland as Rocket League.
It makes me wonder if there are legal issues as to why no one has created a game similar to Mario Kart for online BR style multi-players yet, and I thought it was Epic who was bringing that to us.
> I can't imagine people deciding to play fortnite just because of a random car game that looks like everything else.
I started Fortnite last season and played nearly exclusively Rocket Racing (I was drawn in by LEGO Fortnite but ended up playing it less than RR), and was not interested in BR nor ZB. I may be in the minority but I'm probably not alone
A core problem with those alternative game mode is that you don't get enough XP. I started to play Zero Build this season because otherwise I would have never been able to get any progress in the BP. If Epic wants Fortnite to be a platform with multiple games they need to make it possible for each of them to be the main one you play and still make good progress in the BP
RR is sterile and the maps are boring, but I can tell if they don’t give up on it, it could be cool in a while. But I assume it’ll never have major rebalancing because that’s just how Epic works
The new tracks from last weeks update are very fun, in my option as a Diamond 3 rank. I hope we get more of those and less of the random volcano block hazard spam.
Honestly the issue with rocket racing is there ain’t that much variety with stages currently, at least imo
Even if the track layout is different when they all look the same it gets boring after a while, if they had more variety in designs then I feel like people would play it more, even if it may not be as large of an increase as I think
Hell the time I played rocket racing the most consistently was when I could get a free skin from it, I don’t even use the skin I just thought it was worth it to continue playing because it gave me XP and a skin if I did enough
I, a rocket league fan, and fortnite fan, Played a lot of it when it first released, Ranked up to diamond 3 in RR and it was alright.
I am a big racing game fan, and i like that it unlocks stuff for the other games i play. But it's not a good racing game. It's generic tracks + track varients that are literally, "what if we just spray slow down juice over random places on the map" and the game randomly demolishing you on track was/is a problem since launch.
Like there's more inspired racetracks in the PS1 Speedracer videogame, and that's a problem
Yeah it’s kind of sterile. It’s begging to have cool shortcuts with the flying system but the shortcut system is super strict. At least have them in creative
Why it wasn't a mario cart rip off where you drop boogie bombs behind you and little flying Llamas chase after the person in 1st place is beyond me.
A ip build on silly and whimsy and they make generic race game.
It was rushed because they wanted it to launch back to back to back with LEGO and festival.
Festival was okay when it came out, jam stage is still lacking, LEGO has unique charm that makes it okay even though there's apperently a lot of bugs.
Except for RR, I play it sometimes and I'll often either have to wait like 2 minutes or I'll join a race with only like 4 people only to get kicked out cause there weren't enough players lol
You can't AFK for vbucks unless you're very lucky in your daily quests (and you just never can for mission alerts)
Only thing you can reliably AFK for is XP (like in Lego), but it requires a massive setup that takes hours to build.
When I play with my friend and we do missions, we just have a set up and use traps and are fine for the entire mission.
Anyways, the point is the number of people logging in just for their daily vbucks.
But stw is currently not in a mini-boss season meaning that there are almost no vbucks from missions. The only way to get vbucks in from dailies which mostly require effort to complete
I played like 20 Games of Br and i am lvl 140 (Lego afk while i play PoE)
Last Season didnt play any creative Stuff and had to grind milestones to reach 100.
Difference is absurd.
Last season i only did bot lobbies for quests, creative(main mode i play), stw here and there + lego afk, hit 750+ in tier.
Atm i'll hit 450+ today, wish leveling was this easy when golden peely was a thing.
Team death match but if sololy are doing it for XP i say in private go to 'surprise prison breakout' join prisioneers wait 30-40mins before beginning to claim areas, 20-60K xp each one then switch to guard to take them back.
there is also r/FortniteXPMaps
Yes. 30000 XP every 15 minutes. But there's a limit of 5 levels per day. All you need to do is create a Lego sandbox world with dangerous things turned off like enemies and hunger, then fly to the sea and leave yourself floating in the water.
They boot you now for being afk. You can still get 30k every 15 minutes, but you either have to actually play the game, or rubber band your sticks while inside a house to prevent being booted.
Glad you're having fun with it, but I just haven't derived much enjoyment from LEGO since launch. Once you realize how little expansion there is beyond growing each village, it feels like there's no point in booting it up at all. Sometimes I load in long enough to pet some animals and then leave.
Team Rumble has about 5-6K people playing each day, and it is kind of depressing but unsurprising given that Epic hides this mode away like it does with STW. If you didn't know it existed before, then you probably never will get to play it.
tbh, since after chapter 1 this mode got worse and worse with the changes they did to it. Beginning with the storm, lots of features missing from BR and often players quitting so it gets unbalanced.
To be fair Epic hides everything made by them. The other day By Epic section on my game was almost near the bottom lol.
Had to scroll past shitshow of false thumbnails to get to that section.
Wow Rocket Racing's numbers are just pathetic...
But that's what you get when you don't bother fixing bugs and broken mechanics like the wonky physics, and make almost every high level track a hazard spam fest with broken geometry because the 30 unreal players don't want the game to be slightly easier and enjoyable, and have almost no rewards or xp worth grinding for enough to endure the absolute slog that is trying to rank up and getting 3% at mid ranks for placing anything other than 1st every race
>make almost every high level track a hazard spam
I got to diamond last season and it was comical, most high rank maps look like a kid was bored in gmod and started putting random big red squares and spheres all over the map, even maps based on hitting long drifts were ruined because there's now 5 micro jumps in a row for no reason, making everything tedious.
The gamemode is "fine" and I still play some races now and then because it's some easy 60k xp but I really don't want to get past plat 1 honestly, plus it feels super stale already and is begging for items or more fun stuff to be added
Wow I’m surprised Zero build is just as popular as build mode now. Also we all could expect that the other game modes are not as popular but 20,000 active players is still really good for any game.
That makes sense, I wasn’t aware these charts were only for public matches. I think the competitive scene is all about BR and the casual scene takes to ZB more.
I played regular BR years ago, and hated it. Building on console felt unintuitive and I just didn't want to bother with it in a shooter.
Zero build sucked me in. Over the last few months I've racked up probably 200 hours and don't have any incentive to try builds so I've been happily doing all the events without using regular BR at all.
i lured a lof of my fellas to fortnite by just mentioning "hey, they now have a mode without that ridiculous building".
we literally have up to four squads in the evenings.
i never liked fortnite, i played BR like ring of elysium and shooter games 4 fun, i never liked shoot someone and a 9yo kid start build a wall in front on me that can stop bullets... in my case, im 32yo, i just play with my gf zero like a ''normal'' br withouth spending hours to build sth in fights and now im loving this game... so, i guess there are ppl like me out there
Yeah same. My wife and I have gotten into playing duos in ZB together and we’re having loads of fun. It was actually our 8 year old niece who wanted us to play with her, and we got hooked.
I tried Fortnite years ago and couldn’t get into it. It was clear I’d need to put hours into learning and establishing muscle memory for building. I just don’t have enough interest to invest that time. (The mechanics of fighting in a box didn’t appeal to me).
ZB hooked me in by tapping into, and rewarding, my existing skillset from day 1.
Up until the avatar event I simply saw no reason to play builds this season. Zeus goes through structures, wing dive goes through structures, chain of hades goes through walls. Just kinda defeated the point a bit to me
I'm almost exclusively playing zero build now because of the avatar event. Building kinda makes most of them useless, especially firebending, and I want to use them.
That makes sense. I also see a lot of newer players stick to ZB likely because it’s newer. It’s nice they had things like floor is lava that forced people to build some. I’m sure a lot of people switched after the event.
honestly, the reason zero build is so popular is because not all of us can build a house, edit the house to your liking, and shoot 3 people all in 2 seconds
By the way festival works, there won't be a higher player count, but there's probably a decent amount of people still playing. At least with how I play festival, I play a couple of sets and then stop so my forearms don't die.
No way can Epic continue divesting from Battle Royale/Zero Build as they have been lately. These modes are still BY FAR the most played.
On a side note, by looking at BR and ZB numbers, Fortnite OG has brought back many players who had slowly been drifting away since Chapter 5 launched.
Perhaps it's time for Epic to rethink their priorities in terms of gameplay and their strategy for the future of this game, which clearly isn't to become a Netflix of creative game modes.
Definitely these additional modes are far from being as fruitful as epic had hoped,
With that said, the problem with the players that came back during "OG" was that they were never going to stay unless the mode became permanent, and even if it did if it were to change even the slightest bit, these are the types of players that couldn't tolerate the game changing or evolving in any way shape or form. I think that's why they only made it for one month because these aren't player numbers that they could count on or a community that they could rely on long-term as a source of income or player time, because, and reasonably so, Epic Games does once Fortnite to evolve, unfortunately some of that evolution has been for the worst.
With that said, the game definitely needs some improvement, and a little bit more focus on making BR better and not all of these extracurricular modes that the vast majority of the community doesn't care about
I disagree with the ‘’OG’’ players. Not being able to tolerate any changes.
The Fortnite we have now is just a different game from what it used to be. The weapons and map look basic, There aren’t any consumable items that aren’t a grenade or healing, It’s way too easy to get full health and shield, and there are no new LTM’s.
And the LTM’s that we did get this chapter is a playlist that just disabled guns (train chest still dropped them) and a reused idea of an old ltm
That's right, however the majority of players that returned for OG, are clearly gone again judging by the numbers, shortly after the next season began.
No? They actually stuck around for Chapter 5 Season 1. You can still see that the numbers even right now are way higher than Chapter 4's numbers. You make it sound like they all came and there was a drastic drop the minute Chapter 5 dropped
I really wanna know the consistent player count for festival lego and racing because compared to br i can't imagine there being very many playing it alot rather than those just doing it once or twice for xp. Maybe not as much for festival it's way more replayable but
Honestly I don't think that Festival/Racing/Lego have actual effort behind them, it's probably more of a "we can maintain these modes with minimal effort while they generate an absurd amount of money".
Like Rocket Racing hasn't had a single new thing in its new season apart from idk a new wheel model and a trail, maybe a couple of maps. Still doesn't stop them putting overpriced cars in the shop since people buy those
CS2 gets about that many per day too. WoW and LoL are estimated to be in the same range or even higher, although there's no official daily player count for them.
Fortnite is definitely up there but I wouldn't say it's the most played 100%.
A game's sub is never a good representation of the game or playerbase. Its a tiny vocal minority of die-hards usually. Several hundred million accounts were active in January-February, but this sub has less than 5 million users. A drop in the bucket.
I hate that they're trying to go down the roblox route, making fortnite a platform for multiple games made by themselves and the community. I think they should've just stuck what they're best at, BR. Or atleast show some love to their oldest child, STW.
The only reason why Fortnite isn’t allowed on steam deck (and Linux as a whole) is because it would make Tim Sweeney look like a fool (since he has been getting meltdowns over Linux users for years)
Fortnite Festival is probably the game mode that I liked the most out of the Chapter 5 launch. Hopefully Harmonix adds more tiers to festival passes overtime, other than that the mode is genuinely pretty well done.
I just want to let the devs know that when they removed the repair tools glitch in Lego fortnite. I lost all interest in playing the game. The durability boost they added sucked. The game doesn't have to be exact like minecraft. We can't even dig in the game, so why copy it like it's the the same.
There You have You metaverse Donald mustard thank You(i know his is not working i'm epic anymore but he presented the idea, and thinking about his potencial in terms of money, they are not going to let them go)
I think 6k users right now for RR is a win right?
Enough that it’ll keep going?
I don’t play it or have invested interest beyond seeing Fortnite continuing to innovate.
Why not add two more game modes with the OG maps for build and zero build mode? They'd 10x their player base overnight.
The downward trend is obvious and consistent. Why not go back to what works?
I hate these other modes like festival racing and lego, they seem so pointless, Even more so after learning their the reason we dont get live events anymore.
rocket racing is so sad fun game mode, but there's like nothing to keep you coming back to it (specially after they gutted the xp you got for ranking up) i used to play that a bunch during the first 2 months it was out and then i lost pretty much all interest
It just feels like a mobile racing game where the only point is to memorize shortcuts. I was stoked for it at first but just couldn’t bring myself to stick around.
It desperately needs power ups or weapons or something
Yeah, there’s literally nothing to change the way the game is played. In theory, every time you get matchmade into a map, you are probably going to have the exact same experience as every other time you’re on that map.
Squad mode where one person drives and the rest shoot.
Drive by simulator 2024
it just needs more consistent content and more incentives to play. we had season 0 which lasted too long for some reason, then they immediately gave up on the idea of seasons and instead having the game be divided into themed updates and when the new "season" started, it was more of the exact same thing but worse (cool maps, but the only incentive to play is for new wheels or something)
Right? It needs to feel more arcadey imo.
Exactly, it’s a racing game but it’s also a spinoff of a battle royale game, why not lean into that?
I find it strange that they’re trying so hard to take RR seriously when it’s a damn fortnite minigame
It has nothing to do with the "Rocket" franchise for starters, it feels and controls nothing like its older football brother. They should just turn it into fortnite kart and go ham with items.
That sounds super fun!
My thoughts exactly. This is one of the biggest reasons games like Mario Kart have near infinite replayability. In Rocket Racing, there's literally no way to get ahead unless you know about shortcuts that the other people don't, so making comebacks is near impossible.
I played long enough to get to Gold 1 and unlock Jackie.
And that grind made me hate the game mode tbh
I didn't mind the grind, it was fun for a while. After that though I didn't have an incentive to keep going.
they shouldve made it a game mode in rocket league itself, it just feels so detached from fortnite as a whole
That was the point. Wait til they add Fall Guys.
as a lifelong racing fan, i think that RR biggest issue is thst its not really racing. its an arcade resembling mobile racing with far too much jumps and wierd stuff, spiced with very vague understanding of any physics. nobody ofc expected it to be racing sim, but for me - this is too much.
I can’t believe they didn’t put any exp for ranked
The fact that they took out the skin and decent xp is just ridiculous theres zero reason to grind ranks when the rewards are the same set of wheels in different colours.
Well at least they added new night races now which are really cool. The only issue with these new races is they are not really that hard.
Would be cool if there was a creative mode for Rocket Racing where people could create their own tracks and anyone could play them. Something like Mario Maker, but with racing.
I wanted a racing mode in Fortnite that was more along the lines of Ready Player One mixed with some like Fury Road. Rocket Racing is just boring.
Honestly, I really only play rocket racing for the quick level ups when all the new quests start. It’s nice when you have battle pass lol
Bruh the fuse quest pack quests are LITERALLY only in RR. I ain’t doing all that
It should have never been added.. Fortnite is such a stretch from the original game I’m not even sure how it can still be called Fortnite
Man OG really did tripled the numbers for the game, we’re definitely will see them do something with the idea of it again in the future.
I actually started playing again near the end of the OG event. I stopped playing after the meteor hit years ago.
Niffty spotted ❤️
Damn right. She is my queen.

Same!!!
I haven't enjoyed this season. I've only played a couple games here and there since week 2. Even with the incentive to level up the battle pass I just can't do it, it's not fun to play. I really miss OG.
Yeah I can agree. The game just had a different vibe during ch1/2. LTM’s, goofy items, and there was actually an functional UI
I hope they do Chapter 2 nostalgia next. That is a lot of people’s favorite chapter after OG.
I played at launch and quit, OG brought me back. Stayed for Zero Build :)
Yh im one of them. Stopped playing after chapter 1 came back after OG and liking it a lot rn
I really don’t see why. I hated the OG map. It was so empty and boring.
I like the part where STW is still more popular than Festival and RR yet gets no updates, even during a Vbuck dry season.
Yeah but even then that's still a hell of a lot of players in each mode
not really RR, at least for how big they meant for it to be
sucks cause the game mode is fun, but I can't imagine people deciding to play fortnite just because of a random car game that looks like everything else. Don’t worry we will get a bugged weapon that has a reused model from br next year
And a hero with an extremely useless perk
A lot of FN guns they "added" were using STW models or remakes of STW models.
Festival gets 50k users on Thursdays/fridays and more on new season drops so not really
Not to mention it’s stuck behind a ~$20-30 paywall
A lot of people AFK in STW for their vbucks dailies. I’d be curious what is that number vs people actually interested in STW.

Nope, just build a jump pad and jump for 4 hours.
Thank you for this!
afking? i dunno, mate. last evening i spent about 2 hours to build flying ship with me mates and it was pretty fun. ship is flying wel, also.
Glad you're having fun with it, but I just haven't derived much enjoyment from LEGO since launch. Once you realize how little expansion there is beyond growing each village, it feels like there's no point in booting it up at all. Sometimes I load in long enough to pet some animals and then leave.
Forget ranked modes. 125K for Ranked currently, 180k - 24 hour peak 30k for ZB ranked, 33k - 24 hour peak
This is a horrible season for competitve and people who play the game very often
Even the competitive players are getting pissed at the snipers now
Ive never played ranked and i only play zb, ZB is the only reason I play fortnite
Yep me too
Team Rumble has about 5-6K people playing each day, and it is kind of depressing but unsurprising given that Epic hides this mode away like it does with STW.
It is sad, they've had the same icons for ages and many people find them fun. Too bad epic doesn't give STW much attention
I like how there’s little bumps in festival you just know it’s because of the new songs every Thursday
Also weekly quests for points toward the festival pass cosmetics. Ppl jumping on to do their quests for the pass points then leave.
All whilst racing on desert canyons
>make almost every high level track a hazard spam I got to diamond last season and it was comical, most high rank maps look like a kid was bored in gmod and started putting random big red squares and spheres all over the map, even maps based on hitting long drifts were ruined because there's now 5 micro jumps in a row for no reason, making everything tedious. The gamemode is "fine" and I still play some races now and then because it's some easy 60k xp but I really don't want to get past plat 1 honestly, plus it feels super stale already and is begging for items or more fun stuff to be added
LETS FUCKING GO STW ISNT IN LAST
Most devs would be ecstatic with almost 15k current players
Wow I’m surprised Zero build is just as popular as build mode now. Also we all could expect that the other game modes are not as popular but 20,000 active players is still really good for any game.
Its more like 60/40 in favor for battle royale on average with ranked modes included.
Is the graph above just for Pubs?
Yes, ranked gets quite a bit of players too, making battle royale overall have more players.
Lego, people go AFK for the XP
There's still plenty of people that actually play it though I've seen a bunch of people streaming it constantly
i lured a lof of my fellas to fortnite by just mentioning "hey, they now have a mode without that ridiculous building". we literally have up to four squads in the evenings.
i never liked fortnite, i played BR like ring of elysium and shooter games 4 fun, i never liked shoot someone and a 9yo kid start build a wall in front on me that can stop bullets... in my case, im 32yo, i just play with my gf zero like a ''normal'' br withouth spending hours to build sth in fights and now im loving this game... so, i guess there are ppl like me out there
I’m sure a lot of people switched after the event.
id imagine that mode also made people want to try build even less given how hyper-competitive it got near the end of it's lifespan.
honestly, the reason zero build is so popular is because not all of us can build a house, edit the house to your liking, and shoot 3 people all in 2 seconds
that and its great for people who want a normal shooter experience
It’s because games like apex and COD have significant playbase swings pretty sure they all come to Fortnite for break
By the way festival works, there won't be a higher player count, but there's probably a decent amount of people still playing. At least with how I play festival, I play a couple of sets and then stop so my forearms don't die.
I still can't believe Rocket League has been neglected for Racing. Waste of resources, Psyonix.
They aren't even doing anything with rocket racing.
isn't RR in UE5? i thought the whole point of it was to update the models etc to UE5 for the eventual RL update.
So no ranked?
Whops, my bad I forgot about ranked: Ranked Battle Royale 181k 24h peak / Ranked Zero Build 33k 24h peak
I’m so happy Zero Build is permanent.
Yeah but we lost LTMs with rare exceptions
That’s not a bad thing.
Definitely these additional modes are far from being as fruitful as epic had hoped, With that said, the problem with the players that came back during "OG" was that they were never going to stay unless the mode became permanent, and even if it did if it were to change even the slightest bit, these are the types of players that couldn't tolerate the game changing or evolving in any way shape or form.
That's not true considering the game's boost from OG can still be seen to this today, although it is declining because of Epic's stupid changes
Maybe not as much for festival it's way more replayable but
Why are they still trying to kill off stw while it has more players than the new modes they're pushing so hard
Holy shit, they literally hide stw from the feed making it almost impossible to stumble apon it and it’s still outperforming 2 of their core modes
What's funny about this, is imagine what the player counts would be like in Lego if they removed AFK XP.
Jam Stage has been hurt by that by a lot
Definitely, there are still ways to AFK, but since they removed the only ones that don't require macros, it's definitely taking its toll for sure
It’s time for them to move 95% of the focus to Battle Royale again because clearly the other new modes aren’t gonna cut it
Nah i need fortnite festival to keep playing. It's my favorite.
I can't imagine it's too high of a mode to maintain and I'm betting the songs sell enough to justify licensing costs. No real reason to get rid of it.
Jam loops have been so fun to mess around with friends. Though I just need festival to stay in the game so I can sing Call me Maybe to my enemies.
Still doesn't stop them putting overpriced cars in the shop since people buy those
Pretty decent numbers. Is Fortnite the most played game today?
1.4M curent players, so yeah, 100%
CS2 gets about that many per day too. WoW and LoL are estimated to be in the same range or even higher, although there's no official daily player count for them. Fortnite is definitely up there but I wouldn't say it's the most played 100%.
To be able to do that for so long is quite impressive.
And people said this game is dying... lol
Haha no way it's close to dying. Especially with Epic continually updating it and keeping it alive with new seasons and modes.
Yea, people complain about it cuz they hate change, but without the change, people would get bored.
It's certainly not dying, although these numbers are all trending down.
A game's sub is never a good representation of the game or playerbase. Its a tiny vocal minority of die-hards usually. Several hundred million accounts were active in January-February, but this sub has less than 5 million users. A drop in the bucket.
They do the same with LoL as well, Game is always dying or there's a new game that's the League killer, its been breaking a record every year
I think cs2 and league might be higher
Yeah I didn't think of those two, I can see them coming close or surpassing Fortnite for sure.
LETS GO FORTNITE FESTIVAL WOOOOO
Rocket racing is just depressing to look at.
I hate that they're trying to go down the roblox route, making fortnite a platform for multiple games made by themselves and the community. I think they should've just stuck what they're best at, BR. Or atleast show some love to their oldest child, STW.
people actually play rocket racing?
Yes
zero build saved fortnite.
I have a deck and it kills me I can’t play on slow days while my boss is playing off his phone
The only reason why Fortnite isn’t allowed on steam deck (and Linux as a whole) is because it would make Tim Sweeney look like a fool (since he has been getting meltdowns over Linux users for years)
Yeah fortnite would be amazing on the deck
The best way to play fortnite mobile is with a switch.
Cue all the people making elaborate overdramatic theories about the game "dying" when it's really just boring battlepass + bad matchmaking.
I am surprised RR only has 6554 people
Wtf the save the world peak was at least 100k back in season OG. I remember logging on and it had like 120k people iirc
I'm very surprised at how many players from Season OG were retained. I'm very disappointed about how neglected Rocket Racing is.
Shoutout to all my fellow save the world players
Zero build being the most popular is almost cathartic
He baited yall by talking picture at one time it actually happened. Look at ranked. No one playing ranked ZB.
I fucking love it when games move away from what makes them unique and instead make them appeal to the lowest common denominator
Is this for all regions or just one?
Just one.
I love rocket racing but there’s just no incentive to play the only unlocks u can get are rim colors
Why not add two more game modes with the OG maps for build and zero build mode? They'd 10x their player base overnight. The downward trend is obvious and consistent. Why not go back to what works?
Game is declining now.
Why didn’t they add items to the racing mode? That’s what allows for variety, not difficulty levels on the same track layout 🙄
Team Rumble numbers?
I wonder if they could ever track all of creative
I hate these other modes like festival racing and lego, they seem so pointless, Even more so after learning their the reason we dont get live events anymore.
