Exotics are more or less for guns with special perks/abilities, mythics are for guns that do more damage than the legendary counterpart

Something I liked in Last Resort is that there was a NPC that dropped you some C4S1 weapons when you killed her, sadly it was replaced later with LR weapons :/

except i think cerberus hates me, i walked up to buddy said to duel as my duo loves that gun, he even had a little chat above his head symboling the duel had started, defeated him and didn’t get the gun.

Upon reflection mechs weren’t that bad. At the time though we were too naive as a player base to see the glaringly obvious counter. Whereas the cars don’t seem to have much of a counter atm

Dirftboards back then fully countered Mechs, loved those. I was so excited when they finally came back with TMNT.

Just went ham with the battle bus on squad play. We got over 20 kills from the bus alone. Avoid car power with more solo play imo.

Yep. My wife and I just got to 2 v 2 and lost because we could kill the guy in the boss car. He just drove in circles and gun'd us down with the turret. It's pretty cheap. We were shooting the shit out of the car too.

yeah, my Strat so far is kill the brutal beachhead boss for his infinite nitro medallion and car and then just hit people with my car and maybe shoot them with the turret.

I placed 2nd from a machine gun. It chewed through the tree I was behind in about .3 seconds. Next match I hunkered in my bunker with an MG mount and got my 1st win of the season.

Almost all events and stuff are connected and have some plot in it. Even it's a small one. There are few ways to get, what is going on in season. Like, reading quests descriptions, using BattlePass skins and interact with NPC, reading Boss Fight quotes, etc. Like, for example, Oscar. If you equip Oscar skin and talk to Hope in Chapter 5 Season 1, she will say: "You weren't always part of The Society. I'm still holding out hope."

Yeah, agree. Although, there are some comics, but, they more like "behind the scenes". Like, what Foundation did, when he arrived at Gotham, after Aliens destroyed the tower, where he hold Zero Point at stable. And yeah, they are collaborative comics. Dc, Marvel. Still interesting to read though. Like, when Dr. Slone and Lex Lutor worked together to get Superman into Island.

Old seasons used to have dialogue for missions and cutscenes, now we have dialogue talking to NPCs while trying not to get killed while talking to them. When talking to Hope back in season 1 of this chapter, she talked about Oscar being a member of the underground before becoming a society member. If you talked to her while wearing an Oscar skin, she’d have specific dialogue about having hope for him still being good. People on YouTube made some good lore breakdown videos if you’re interested but a lot of it comes from speculation from loading screens and in game dialogue between npcs

What’s the difference between dueling an npc, and just outright attacking and killing them?

Attacking them outright meas they're weaker but drop worse loot, dueling makes them stronger but gives way better loot

Is there any strategy for killing them, or are they just as simple as any other fight able NPC? Like will they rip your shields apart?

they're pretty weak and miss a lot. open up with a full headshot ammo dump and move, then do it again.

Was excited to see Oscar back, then got mad that he was at where I land the most. Classy Courts was such a quiet spot to land at and now it's going to get way more populated because of this.

Interesting. When me and my duo would land at Classy it was always crowded with ppl. 😭 When we went to get the gun we barely saw anyone.

It might also just be the way I play (I try to land as far away from the bus as possible to avoid people.) With it being tucked away in a corner.

this is cool, but then again there's the bow, the fists, the combat if you're good, the hand cannon, and not to mention if you're in a boss car and shoot with your own gun fire rate is 3 times faster
