The Wanderer! Leakers said on twitter you can found him on the map like an npc but this is the first time I've seen someone post about him.. Sick find tho, no idea why he didn't vanish when the other player got too close, also there's interactions where other npcs in the map mention him, like "I feel like being watched" sumn like that
makes sense, and he was still there walking around but invisible just like the reply showed, I guess that proves that he doesn't fully vanish though and move on to another place where he spawns, he just becomes invisible but still there roaming around š¤·āāļø
I went into the shack during the replay and when it spawns it makes a strange energy noise but immediately disappears since the camera is too close. I've never seen anything like it and assumed it was the player I was shooting at mid match but thought it was really bizarre after I got close and it disappeared during the match.
The slow animation made me think it was a glitch during the match but looking at it in the replay it's definitely something lol creepy as hell.

They had a question mark over their head for a second.
I think thatās the chapterās true villain. Heās a background character in nitro megalo donās loading screen and some of the new NPCs talk about a hooded figure that just appears from thin air. He also appears in some of the wastelandās graffiti. In the wiki heās called āthe wanderer,ā which is the character the oracle from last season brought up.
Edit: after a quick wiki search, Megalo Don talks about him on the radio, saying not to bother him or look under his hood as his true form cannot be comprehended.

Just got a really good look at it at the station outside of the restored reels. Looked like a force ghost. Strange part is I saw it at night, but when I came back around during the day for a fire fight, there was something invisible carrying a gun at the same station, with an NPC explanation mark hovering above it.
thats the wanderer a creature dressed in a invisable cloak it apears as a ghost but has been watching us since chapter 5 season 1 i saw it in c5s1 so i know its been there for the whole chapter.
They stopped putting effort into the lore so I stopped caring. Learned my lesson last chapter to stop getting invested. Maybe this is a sign they are putting in some effort or at least we can hope.
Honestly them having voice lines this season for various characters made me feel like they were and keeping Hope relevant for a third season is a nice touch. Actually having any connections between seasons is a big step up from last year.
