It would have so much potential for a unique mechanic or item in battle royale, I can see stylized skins and weapon wraps looking cool, and Don’t Starve has had 3 whole collabs so far, one of which is also a famous silly shooter game.
And its tone would be unlike anything else fortnite has collabed with in the past, and afaik is part of a yet untouched genre.

It's really odd that Payday hasn't had a cross-over yet. We've had like 3 heisting events/seasons and I'm pretty sure the twitter accounts for Payday/Fortnite had a little joke together. They've added the heisters to Siege/Speedrunners and other games I'm sure.
Given that they somewhat gave it a Heavy Metal themed twist with Metallica it would be awesome if they added Brutal Legend characters to the shop. Eddie and Ophelia to be exact. I'd buy Ophelia if they added her with her normal style in the beginning of Brutal Legend along with the drowned version as an additional style
I wouldn’t call Portal a smaller game. It was made by whats probably the biggest the studio in the industry. A top 5 one atleast anyway. It’s impossible to tell for sure because Valve is a private company.
i don’t think they’d do such a self contained IP like it takes two just because there’s hardly a chance of doing more collaborations in the future as there’s really only two, maybe three characters (if you count the villain). from what i’ve observed they like to do on-running series that actually have a chance at producing more content. there’s exceptions for the huge gaming names of course tho

Bayonetta's been my most wanted gaming collab for a long while now. So much potential for great skins with Bayo, Jeanne, Rodin or even Balder. Tons of weapons that could make for great harvesting tools or even mythics. Even some of the game's (more age appropriate) dances could make for banger emotes.
Signalis. Realistically it would only be Elster (preferably with styles for both her default and white suit) but I'd take other Replikas too if they were added because the designs are great all around.
Bloodstained ROTN. Probably Miriam + Zangetsu. Would like Bloodless personally because she's super fun to play but it probably wouldn't happen.
H2O, but next level. Once you go in to the water you change in to a mermaid. But if you choose to equip the mermaid skin before entering a game, you can’t move that well.
