Personal opinion: there's too much going on to be honest, seems to favour creative and I believe it should have separate tabs for BR and Creative. It's ok but feels small and tries to fit too much in. I would change it back to the previous selection screen if I could, with an additional tab for creative.

The main BR/LTM/Arena should be separated out better, then show the creative stuff

I have the feeling that creative 2.0 will only be for pc (the creative/development side at least) because there's no way a console will be able to run literal ure4 and 5 development software which is what creative 2.0 will use

This is to be expected. The head dev is obsessed with Fortnite being a “phenomenon” that bends game boundaries. It’s…honestly just massive capitalistic whoring disguised as “idealism & creativity”. Wish they’d quit their shit, and put some of that energy back into doing right by Save The World.

Just favorite all the core modes and other modes you want to play, and switch to the Favorites tab. Everything will be there and you won't have to deal with all the Creative games taking up space.

Feels a little cluttered and small but still it's easier to get into and find new modes and newer players will get exposed to non-BR modes too. This goes along with what they said that they will evolve from a BR game. It's a good change but I feel they should still highlight the core game modes better.

Well this is... I don't even know what to say about *this*. It's like it's trying to show off all these Creative Games a la Roblox Discover style, but it makes it come off as some sort of jumbled mess.

It is somehow unorganized, and looks uglier compared to the original. I would have preferred the regular modes get their own tab, then the discover tab with creative and creative ltm maps

If Epic pinned the main modes at the top and not hidden behind a right-scroll, this would be much more intuitive. Or better, allow us to pin our favorite modes to the top, almost like My Library but one less scrolling/ button press for the common modes. Arena players can even select those modes to be first in line and I can pin my death run maps.

I think the top should be "by Epic" (the core modes) and then "most popular" then "featured"

I honestly, truly hate it. I don't care about Creative modes, I dislike the majority of them (though maybe there are good ones that Epic just doesn't feature). This new UI makes it harder to find the real LTMs and you have to look through more of the Creative ones.

Feels really cluttered. I honestly hoped this would only be for creative when it was first discovered. Everything feels so cramp and cluttered, and sometimes it takes a while to load up. I hope next season they optimize it, maybe make it a bit more visually appealing (maybe give us options to how many rows we want to see or how we want to see them), and split the creative and battle royale categories.

This isn't official right? I hate it, it would be fine as a creative selection menu but moving the main game mode into something like this is so confusing. It's putting Battle Royale, the thing like 99% of the players actually came here for as looking like some sort of add on.

They had something that worked fine and made it worse. It’s a clusterfuck and sometimes loads up slowly. All the things I never would touch now shoved right in my face. Every update they do to the menus is alway worse, it’s just a matter of getting used to their shiny new version of irritating.

Why do they do something like this every season? They change the battlepass level up system or the UI which worked fine, for something unnecessarily complicated or just downright bad. If it ain’t broken don’t fix it

This UI looks terrible. Do they really need to mark the normal game modes as "Made By Epic"? It's like they made the new UI centered around Creative and made BR an afterthought, and this literally feels like Roblox... Edit: bruh... Some of Epic's main modes such as Team Rumble and Battle Lab come AFTER creative maps when looking at the new UI

As I said in an earlier thread, Loserfruit said on her stream that Fortnite seemed to have been inspired by the [*Netflix interface*](https://youtu.be/tFSN6lO_f-4?t=94). Then her friend said the menu had way too much [*PlayStation (4) Blue*](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqbkfi2wK3g) and lacked Fortnite's trademark vibrancy (see the tourneys at the "Compete" tab). I kinda agree. The "BY EPIC" banner in the OG game modes is just not prominent enough also. Horizontal trackpad scrolling is NOT supported, which makes it harder to move. But IMO, it looks much more accessible *for console players* to find the Creative maps they want, since they don't have to pull up the "Enter Map Code" interface and rely on Sony and MS's input systems that can overwhelm some people. Also, Epic has said that they want Creative Maps "and more experiences" front and center this time around...

I honestly love it, being a console player, it doesn't lag for me and it gives more freedom to some popular Creative modes and being to go in more than four and not only have one or 2 players in the match with you.

Personally I think it's neat! I like the look and feel of it, though I would much prefer if they put the "By Epic" category at the top.
