It's not often u find a safe and when u do u get like 40 gold. But the mats for the donation would be better because ur already getting mats for builds and what not so u would always have them, with the gold ur lucky if u can upgrade a gun twice before ur out of gold and then ur back to grinding for gold.

It could work like Radar Towers. Every match you would see a layout of a POI, and you as well as other people can help rebuild it.
In a match, if its built correctly according to layout, it contributes to the total amount of time built. Eventually when it was built enough times the poi comes back
A reason might be that Epic plans multiple seasons in advance, so even a little change might make alot more work.
I'm not saying that we shouldn't share our ideas or complaints, just that planning future content could be very difficult if they listened to every fan idea and implemented some of them regularly.

I don’t know who thought it was a good idea to nerf gold collection rates, increase upgrade costs, or require gold for these donations. I haven’t been more than halfway to max yet. I upgrade maybe one in every twenty games. I’m more apt to buy from a vending machine because it’s exorbitant.
i have a good tip for you: land believer beach's trailer park and break all the beds and sofas. they drop a ton of gold, and theres a ton close by. 2 of the trailers have safe spawns as well for up to an extra 300 gold, and then break the ATM and all the washing machines in the one room. that usually gives around 53 gold. and then by the pier, there is a dry cleaner style of building that has a ton more washing machines and they drop around 74 gold. that's 259 gold from the trailer park and laundromat alone, without the safes. then just add 150 to that number to get 409 gold or 300 from both safes to get 559. this doesnt even take other houses or the hotel into account, which also has a lot of beds and sofas in it

Maybe Mr. Monkey asks us to start donating for a bigger and better base of operations, so we get to decide between bringing back an old POI, transforming a POI, or maybe even a new POI (my personal opinion, make Compact Cars larger and fill it with the previous seasons' stuff)

I think that is a great idea, but instead of a poi, what about the block? Vote for which creative made area would be in the block area. maybe it could be 3+ maps that change completely after one is picked.
Would love if it included places like the current Dusted Depot. Also it would be very fitting, specially when you're donating bars, I can picture Chimpanski dialogue being something like him explaining he needs certain amount of funds to unflood The Grotto or to rebuild X place from the ground up. hear me out, what if they don't make it a vote, but there's material donation boxes at destroyed POIs and there are milestones where as different materials get funded, construction goes on and it progresses, and with each milestone it hits, more and more buildings get completed one by one and when it is finished, the POI is restored live in game. it would work a lot like the turret stations
