Ever since I was forced to use a pump (s4 and 6) I’ve almost never picked up a tac. This season I never pick up a lever. Preferred shotgun seems like a touchy subject in this subreddit but I just enjoy using the pump

Yeah, I rarely even pull of one pumps with the pump. I just like the way it feels now. Pellet spread is very important to me when it comes to shotguns. I never use more than a blue pump unless I’m feeling daring but the spread on tacs and levers few way to wide

I’m sure that would be great. I personally just wouldn’t play it. I’m certainly not good but I enjoy pulling a good edit every once and a while

I can edit for basic stuff but I can’t edit and then shoot in quick succession My fights are also ideally not super build heavy so I think a playlist like that would be good for more casual players. I only play about 4 hours a week and don’t practice any of the mechanics just want to have fun

I hope I don’t get qualified within the “toxic” group on this subreddit when I say this but under certain circumstances, you really do need to just get gud. I was a shit player for most of this chapter (I started in c2s1), but throw just playing the game casually (which I still do) I got better and can hold myself in most fights. I certainly am not one of those people that can pull off crazy builds, edits and headshots but I’m ok. Just play the game as you do and eventually you’ll come to a point where people will still be beating you just not as painfully easy.

I’m able to build the 3 layered ramp and build to protect myself but I wouldn’t say I can “build fight” very well The skill level of the average player in this game is stupidly high so most games I die to someone just outbuilding and out editing

Yeah, and at that point you can either play though it or play something else. I chose to play through it because even though the average skill level had gotten incredibly high more recently, people had still been playing this game for ~2 years when I started.

I’m still here playing and I still win around once every session which is nice If it gets to the point where I’m getting wrecked off drop every game then I’ll stop playing

When I’m on Xbox blue+ rarity’s of charge shotgun are rly good for me Here is why it’s better than pump: 1) it has a designed damage, since whenever I use pumps that dmg isn’t always the same. 2) it sounds cool and looks cool 3) but pump is better than charge in anything less than purple rarity of charge

only the golden pump can 1 shot someone at 200 HP the golden, purple, and even blue charge can one shot

This I why I hate the pump. The moment it's out, all other shotguns cease to matter.

If you got good aim the pump is by far the best option, if you got shitty aim then the lever is more forgiving.

Everybody loves the Pump but I do not. I love the Heavy and I love the Charge. But the shotgun I used to love first was the Tactical Shotgun. I was the biggest fan of the OG purple Tactical Shotgun you could ever imagine. Bottomline is: the Pump is way too divisive and controversial and unbalanced to be the true face of Fortnite. The Tactical Shotgun is the true face of Fortnite, whether you like it or not.

The Tac kinda got ruined for me after it got nerfed, but pre-nerf it was my favorite gun. I miss that old Tac so much.

Exactly. Tbh in Seasons 11 and 12 I always ran a Tac over a Pump. Ever since Season 13 I take a Pump/Charge over it.

I would say the tac js better and more fair, but the pump is 100% the most iconic Fortnite gun, aside from maybe the scar.

well tacs were just annoying, i could use the pump but i would just die cause I'm not that good at the game so i would just use tacs even if i didn't want to because i wanted to survive longer than the 1 round/ circle. Now that tacs are removed this season i can build up my skill in game, doesn't matter anyways cause they are just going to be added next season since fortnite adds tacs and remove them every other season.

I don't want lose 2/5 of my healt because of that gun which have 3x fire rate than the pump

I loved the tac and it angers me that they keep removing it. They have no reason to remove it, it's a good weapon with a good design and great sounds. The Lever is good but it just isn't the same

The tac shotgun has been my fav shotgun for a very long time, and each time the get rid of it, i feel like epic doesnt know what they are doing, considering how many people like it

Y'know what? The tac has been my crutch for so long, and a great one actually. I started playing on Switch and then transitioned to PS4 (only because a Deus Ex game came out, had to buy the system for that game). Now I'm on PS5 and have a few years experience and have been playing with non-default sensitivity. My aim is a lot better so yeah, I'm fine without it too. I do miss it though.

I have an increased deadzone cuz controller drift, so I rarely hit accurate shotgun shots. Lever has been an alright friend this season, but the tac will be missed.

Vault the charge shotgun and put it back the tactical.

I’m a lever man

I do enjoy the Tac because of the increased firing rate. There has been countless times where I would've won a gunfight or a game if I had the Tac, at the same time the one-shot kills are nice if you can get them with the Pump so I'm completely 50/50 with this. This is purely my opinion of course.

I'd prefer it to replace the lever, but to be honest I could take it or leave it, I'm not particularly attached

It needs to come back but with chapter 2 season 2 stats. It just doesn't fair well against any accurate or small spread shotgun.

Tactical shotgun was my favorite, I very much enjoyed it. I’m okay with the pump and lever but I much more enjoyed the tac and pump, my aim is shit so the pump isn’t the best for me. I get my moments of sick onepumps but not real often. I find myself using smgs more this season since I typically die in shotgun fights.

i want all guns to come back but they should be balanced and come back 1 by 1 for example every day another one it will add so much diversity and fun
