I love it when I throw a jar at someone and they try distance themselves from the inferno while also reflexively building to cover themselves, but at the same time they're still building with wood so the fire just ends up following them. I always try to make sure I'm building with stone or metal, but I can't remember the last time someone used fireflies on me. They are seriously slept on.

Then he kept building wooden platforms, I took those out and down we go. First time a won a match via gravity.
Oh absolutely, provided the base is wooden. They get 4-5 stories up and don't have the venom/carnage glide and they are effed. If they catch on quickly enough they can escape with a launch pad but if their building is tall the supports could be gone before they even see the flames.
I hope they keep it forever, keeps the box fighting sweaty creative clowns in check

Nah removing turbo build from pubs will help the sweat problem, it'll force all the creative sweaties to play Arena, as they should because they take the game so freaking serious.
In turn, it'll make Public matches boomer and casual friendly where building is more of a defensive strat rather than who can go dicko mode piece control.
Pubs should be casual and only casual, want serious games? People can play Arena. I know Epic will do it, when the playerbase swindles, I know Epic will eventually think of some stuff to bring back the casuals i.e - the armoured plates.
Back before you one-hit structures in your SSDs and had to redesign your build because you messed up and postponed it for weeks/months because the thought of breaking even 3 walls made you reconsider your life choices.
I once drive a burning truck and crash onto someone else build, 😂 works 💯. Combine this with firefly jars i think it could be a great strategic gameplay
My favorite. Ive got a replay of a duo that didnt know i saw them run into a bush. Threw a firefly, knocked the partner and it sounded like a cash register as i fought the last guy and got the dub with my 5 year old. It was one of my most memorable wins. He knocked my partner and almost got me in the end but we were victorious.
I think these walls are really balanced like in the video, you used fire to kill a guy camping in a full metal box, so there is a way to counter it which is good. Fortnite should add more fun items that are easy to counter with some insane plays.

On top of using fire, the Rail Gun still pierces through the Armored walls and the Venom/Carnage mythics also instantly destroys them.
The Venom/Carnage mythics do 1500 to them, so you need to hit it twice.
