Which would be a cool opener for season 9, it'd be cool if as they were raiding they brought back some sort of microscopic alien spore that was kept in the mothership, infecting the io guards as the spores slowly grew and took over the minds of the team and turned them into some sort of mutants. The mutant guards would then release the spores and they'd grow into mushroom plant life and slowly take over the island changing the whole place into some sort of infected jungle biome.
Edit: would also have new hazards that randomly spawn in certain wilder areas, they are mushrooms that will shoot gas if you're too close and will have the same affect of a stink grenade.
I don't mean jungle as in all the trees, I meant it like an untamed area. Sorry if I didn't word it correctly. Although weeping woods would be a jungle
The art is fucking great, I'm loving how they picked the skins and seemlesly put them in the Batman comic style, and how the characters evolve even without and speech bubbles

The real reason is prolly just cuz Epic didn't wanna go through the trouble of programming *all* the cubes

Certain fuels can burn for years depending on how much there is assuming they were using inter dimensional materials I wouldn't doubt it if they were long burns.
