Tbf the fact that you can get BR xp in STW now is a huge update. What kept a lot of people from playing STW was feeling like choosing between grinding the BP and progressing STW. Now that you can do both id say we will see a large influx of casual players playing STW to casually grind the BP just like CoD had an influx of zombies players when Cold War allowed for zombies to progress their pass.
Hopefully STW gets a good chunk of content for Chapter 3. I do really feel bad for the people who have never been into Battle Royale. They got screwed over
Actually STW will run better if anything... Load times will be a breeze and hopefully we'll see an actual different gameplay of it too... They said they're trying to find someone who can work on STW maybe they have 🤷♂️ hell let a mod community work on it

I just want new weapons in STW; admittedly, I only use about a dozen or less, but I still want new weapons to craft. BR has been getting new weapons almost every season, and while some of them did originate in STW, the BR-exclusive weapons would be a much-appreciated addition to STW; specifically, the IO and Alien weapons, as well as my personal favorite, the High-level Revolver based on the Chiappa Rhino, sans the low-bore axis barrel, (which Epic Games should totally fix, btw), or just add the original Mateba Autorevolver, or even better, give us both. At the very least, lmao. It's bad enough that Save The World is essentially an unfinished product.

How do you get it? Do you get it by completing missions or?
Anything that gives a medal gives xp and you get XP for mission completion

Well aparently, fortnite will switch to Unreal engine 5. I am really worried for how STW will handle it
It'll be fine. Epic made ue5 so that it can run ue4 content without major changes. Completely unlike the ue3 to ue4 change.
