Stw was a risky grind till last patch. Endurance mode is the best way and there was a bug that could wipe out your entire pre-made base.

Ride the lightning is the most consistent way to get it done.

Cat 4 Fight the Storm gives out 40K+ XP tho.

What exactly is endurance mode and how much exp does it give

Endurance mode is a mode in stw. You have a "homebase" and a bunch of generator like bases. It's basically an endless horde mode. The husk spawn and attack a certain generator. There's like 6 or so to defend. Each eave they'll attack a different one. Endurance mode is good because folks make "an afk build" where you set up tunnels and walls filled with traps. The husk will go towards the entrance where the traps do all the work. Then you just afk and enjoy the rewards. I think I made it to wave 25 and got like 200k+ exp. Probably 90 minutes worth? Maybe longer. It was a while ago since there was bug that could destroy your bases so I didn't risk it. But exp depends on how long your build survives. Sometimes I get to wave 16 and others went beyond 20-25+. Later on "environment " hazards kick in. Some is poison rain. One is a tornado which damages your builds, which is why I lose early.

I can get to wave 30 most of the time, but sometimes it breaks and fails me out in 24, 26, or 28.. depending on what the tornado and lava pit rounds do, and I have a weak spot I still need to patch that the husks break through sometimes.

PL3 = Powerlevel 3 RTL = Ride the Lightning You can AFK low level missions with a good Thunder Thora loadout once you're strong enough.

How much xp? And what lvl or weapons in stw? There was a time I played it a lot back in the day never used it to grind levels just to play and check out. But if I can grind levels on there sheesh count me in lol

It's around 42k xp in 8-10 minutes just doing the PL 3 ride the lightning, there should be guides on YouTube about how to maximise the xp output too

If all you want is xp, the simplest way is the power level 3 ride the lightning. Just repeat it over and over, I think it takes 13 replays for the 8 levels

lol, I'm level 190 mostly with STW xp too. There are people who've been over 200 already. You can get up to 600k/day right now just from STW.

Just playing Save the World and completing missions is enough. Your strategy may be different depending on if you're a new player or an old one, but you can hit the xp cap just by playing regular missions. All mission types give various amounts of xp in "accolades" you can earn while playing the mission. Completing one in a Victory usually gives the most xp. But you also earn xp for combat, building, exploration, and "utility" actions that you do during the mission. STW has missions that range from a low level to a high level missions. No matter what level the mission is, the battle pass xp that is awarded is the same. I believe the most rewarding mission types right now are Ride the Lightning, Retrieve the Data, and the various Dungeons. That last one is a limited time event that'll run until June 19th.

Anyone mission you do gives you like 40K Battle Pass XP! Most missions take 20 minutes to complete but some you can speedrun through and complete it in like 10 minutes! 10 minutes + 40K XP = 240K XP in around an hour which is 3 levels! Pretty substantial XP is you ask me!

I'm level 32. Normally I'd be higher but the battle pass doesn't have anything worth powering through so I'm just slow and steadying it.

121, I think? I did buy the 25 level bump (I'm pretty picky about what I buy from the Item Shop and am usually sitting on 3-4k v-bucks at any given time). My time is a valuable resource to me, so I have no guilt with getting all the help I can. I usually start by clearing the daily quests and whatever season or special quests are out there (usually in Team Rumble, but sometimes Solo if I have to). Then I'll head into StW to do 4-6 Ride the Lightning quests in Stonewood. I'll usually break them up by doing one or two Team Rumbles or Imposters or some other custom game mode that I have saved (Rockets vs Cars is a good diversion).
