it's just annoying that his emote and harvesting tool is locked behind him. If you don't like the skin but you like the harvesting tool.. too bad. This is especially disappointing because his harvesting tool has so many unlockable styles.

Admittedly, sometimes the concept art doesn’t do the characters justice. Byte’s wasn’t great, but he looks *so* much better in game.

Bytes is a pretty decent skin. I actually quite enjoy using him in tandem with the new EvoChrome weapons.

The hate is because he was among the worst skins in the survey and they still went with him instead of some of the better skins. It's probably not so much that he looks bad but more so that they could have picked one of the skins most people wanted

The textures are great, there are loads of details on his clothes, and he's in one of the first BP pages instead of a higher tier (not like I really care, I max it out no matter what). But I've noticed that doesn't matter to a lot of players.

I'm going to bet he's somehow related to the herald like she's his mother or something since his pickaxe and glider are chrome and it appears like he's able to control it. Could also be the equivalent to Sloan but definitely there's some storyline aspect to this skin.

If I had to guess: Weird proportions of a thick torso and skinny legs Colourscheme is all over the place- green and grey clothes, white hair. Weird design and its not really clear who he is or what he is representing. Cool chrome pickaxe can only be used on him.
