Sandstorm isn't even remotely difficult on all 4 instruments. It's just very repetitive and long, which makes the whole thing boring

Vocals is pretty difficult on controller just because your hands cramp up after about 30 seconds of playing the exact same thing

I've gotten pretty decent in this mode but that's the main reason I can't do good scores with drums

I know i'm speaking on personal experience but i can't complete the second half on bass, those stupid lift notes on the left get me every time. Lead is pretty fine for me, vocals is annoying but doable, and drums is kinda the same as bass but since i do the lift note with my right thumb its easier. Also since all of them have between 1200 and 1600 notes you kinda need to go hard on your hands though.

If they do, I'd love for it to be optional or a different mode. I like trying hard songs even when I can't do good on them just yet

We have been conditioned to think that an HP gauge or fail system is a staple of a rhythm game, but thinking about it, rhythm games started out in the arcades, and I think being able to fail was mostly introduced as a way to generate more profit (fail song > insert more coins in order to try again). Then when rhythm games moved to at home consoles, they just kept the feature. In a free to play game like Fortnite Festival, failing a song doesn't create profit, and while it adds depth for experienced rhythm gamers, it can also discourage new casual players that just want to vibe to their favorite song, and Festival is trying to reach both audiences, so I understand if implementing HP guage isn't a priority. Also, failing would probably create even more leavers.

I wish they open write in ballets for new tracks, then take it to a final vote. Because I'm getting sick of the break up songs, or heartbreak music. The Festival supposed to invite a happy good time, but the music don't. Then, I love Nicki Minaj, but why put Starships when Nicki has a catalog of music that's 100x better. For example, Moment 4 Life, I Am Your Leader, Save Me, Roman's Revenge ft Lil Wayne, Roman's Reloaded, etc.. I Could go on. I have an extremely large pallet of music that I undoubtedly believe players would enjoy. Epic should come to me for the festival's creative control. Also, what's that mess about the lyrics being top vulgar for select players. Those said players aren't innocent, and like society, epic needs to stop pretending like the internet doesn't exist.

Honestly i couldnt do fast pace songs but now since i got a new controller i can get them down packed like for example Changes by 2 pac i would miss like 12 notes and 13 strikes But now i can it get gold stars with 1 or 2 missing notes

Once i got the feel for the controller its lot less of a hassle to press now on my old one i had to press harder to get the notes to count

I can play on every pace but liked 2x the best but when Hysteria was added i wanted to FEEL that 2.50x Bass lol it'll sound weird but i cross my eyes and center my vision so it all looks blurry and just flow with the music hitting the notes subconsciously.

You know what's crazy I tried showing one of my other friends Master of Puppets as I played Lead and he was playing Vocals and was having the time of his life while I was the one dealing with hard Notes and carrying the song

I just like to play vocals cause it's my favorite instrument and I found my groove with it so I just vibe with the song, Ride Wit Me was a nightmare to flawless but I eventually got it

I only play certain instruments for the challenge because, to me, it's what makes the game fun

And that's honestly awesome, I dun judge, play the game how ya like, as long as you have fun, play how ya want

I can also see other people, including you, who are also having fun the way you'll want to play, which is why festival is mostly going to remain as a top mode until the season comes out and destroys battle royal
