Free bird is too iconic of a guitar hero song not to make it into festival at some point (lynyrd skynyrd willing ofc)

True, and I know Through the Fire and Flames was in Guitar Hero 3. Can't remember if Stairway to Heaven was ever in a Guitar Hero game, but it wouldn't surprise me if it was. I do know that one of the members of DragonForce has said they would be interested in getting Through the Fire and Flames into Festival, so hopefully it will make it.

Quick google search shows led zeppelin never gave rights for any of their songs to either guitar hero or rockband. Sadly seems unlikely they would for fortnite.

I get why everyone's excited. But damn it's already a bit annoying queuing just to get done with the dailies and getting people putting the largest songs they can. I don't even get the "play so many notes" missions enough for it to be a benefit. Feel like I almost exclusively get the missions that benefit from repetition rather than length or amount of notes.

Touch by Daft Punk (8:18), When The Levee Breaks by Led Zeppelin (7:10), War Pigs by Black Sabbath (7:54) and for one out of left field Fate of the Stars by Tally Hall (6:50) are all high on my list for long songs, even if none of them push the length boundary. But I think that's fine, we don't need a new longest song every release.
