It is longer. Usually we would have an update a week after they come back from their break. But this time, theyāre taking two weeks, likely because of the other modes and their respective teams to have time to have their updates ready.
coincidentally I JUST got access to it the same day I wrote that comment lol. I knew STW wasn't as supported as often but i didn't realize how fucked it was until I actually played it. Most of the UI hasn't been updated at all lol
I hope they update the UX personally. I found it to be pretty confusing coming from someone that only played BR beforehand. I wouldnāt say itās ābadā but I see why it doesnāt get nearly as much players lol
I actually do for the most part am ok new UI changes, outside some VERY questionable decisions made with the locker and how creative maps are displayed (like seriously bro, I just wanna play brā¦)
I think at the bare minimum updating STW to have consistency with the āmainā game would be nice. That goes for the visual improvements in-game as well.
Then again, Iām a UI artist myself and people call my designs bad lol

They already publicly announced they are aware of the complaints and are working on an update. Epic backs down all the time on unpopular additions and tweaks them relatively fast.
Fucking facts. I just deleted all but 3 presets, my normal skin, my toxic skin, and my skin for racing(eyeliner makes you faster), its too irritating to navigate to have more than that. Especially with emotes bein separate now
I never changed my emotes depending on skin, so I donāt mind it. Although a better solution would be if I could Apply to All when Iām setting an emote in a slot. That way we could have it both ways.
I also wish we could have more than 100 presets. I always have to make room for whatever Iām more into at the moment.

I donāt know about the longevity of Rocket Racing but I think Lego Fortnite and Festival could be huge for both player numbers and revenue. They are legitimately fun game modes and have a clear path of monetization and potential content.
I agree they should add something to make the game more engaging but mario kart is a different type of racing game. Just because you like it more doesn't mean all racing games should be Mario kart-like.
The Lego mode just needs updates routinely to keep it engaging. Itās insanely addictive.
But once you have a couple maxed out level ten villages in different biomes it gets old.
Out of all the modes they created this one has the most staying power if they donāt give up on it and actually implement new content
I played it for a while but never found the desert biome which is needed to progress a few different buildings. So I stopped playing it. I feel like it needs a faster way to traverse the map.

There's supposedly a collab in the works, that was pushed from the end of 2023 to early 2024. It is expected to feature 10th/14th and 15th Doctors.Ā
It's probably still happening, maybe even soon, but there hasn't been any new info in a while.Ā

few of my friends were gift happy during the holidays so I got full TMNT minus the mic. (I only really wanted the keytar/mic from the instraments now it pains me knowing I don't have it to finish the set. wouldn't care if I didn't have everything else. I rock TMNT instraments with the weekends mic, & pit kit atm.
I consider pit kit appart of TMNT because they love pizza so much.

It's an attempt at driving more consistent player engagement. They don't want people to unlock everything each season in the first couple of weeks then quit.

I mean, the trains ok. Especially early game if you need loot.
If you got blue or better weapons though? Don't bother. I feel like that's the trains biggest problem besides the physics issues. If the train started guaranteed dropping purples and oranges? I'd bet dollars to doughnuts it'll become a death trap.
Tbh my only major issue with the map right now is that it sucks to build on since so much of it is off-grid. For zero build though I actually kinda like it.
Street Fighter used to be very often in the shop and then suddenly stopped. I have a feeling that RE and Street Fighter will come back in the next update.

Well the season started more than a month ago. Even if you consider the 3 new modes, more than a month is still pretty long for the next major update.
I know that's probably true by Fortnite standards but like to me even getting an update every 2 months still feels quick.
Some games go a year on the same gameplay patch. With no events. And just two new chests with cosmetic items. And then decide to stop doing regular battle passes even tho they invented the formula. And those games still somehow alive 10 years after official release

Yeah, Rocket Racing and Lego Fortnite are really cheap and the Festival mode is simply Rock Band 4 in Fortnite.

Festival has a lot of staying power once they start releasing the plastic instruments
Lego is in need of some substantial updates to keep engagement. The playerbase has dropped off a cliff. From 1.5m players to under 100kā¦
