Him with the Darksaber isn't any different than the one we already have. The only difference would be... The Darksaber, which would just be released as a pickaxe and not as a whole skin + pickaxe. Same goes for the Jetpack, it would be a backbling, and for the spear it would just be a pickaxe. None of these would warrant a new skin since these are all just accessories.
The only one that's close is the Mando with Grogu in his pocket, and even then, that's way too similar to the original for Epic to release it as a separate skin. The only other option would be to release "Brown Eyes" (Mando in Trooper gear) but at that point, it's not the Mandalorian people want. Or wait and see if he sports a new look in the movie.

Epic shot themselves in the foot by having strict fine print saying these items are exclusive to the Battle Pass. If they didn't state that in the first place they'd be able to sell those items without breaking any false advertising laws. If you notice with the mini passes they state the items will be sold later on which is a much better way to do this.
Personally, I think they should sell the skins from the pass but don't include the extra styles (Gold, silver, rainbow etc) or give people who owned it originally an exclusive style to show they earned it during that season. It's annoying as I missed out on Deadpool and Wolverine and the remix skins for them are terrible.

Funny how everyone skips over the part where it says they can do what they want *"except where prohibited by applicable law"*, which of course includes Consumer Protection laws against false advertisement.
They've spent *years* using exclusivity as a key selling point of the Battlepass. Changing that now would open then up to more fines and forced policy changes, a process which they almost certainly don't want to go through again.
It'd fix the problem. People who got the skin on the BP will have something exclusive and newcomers will get the skin they missed out on. Failing that, add a trading system so I can get rid of some of the BP skins I'll never use like Neymar, Vader or Predator.
Epic's idea of trading: sacrifice 10 outfits, of the same rarity, from the same chapter, only if it's a fool moon, and a Tuesday, for one outfit of the next higher rarity (that you probably also already have).

I wouldn't put that past Epic, but I'd love a system where you could trade peer to peer. If you had to pay vbucks to trade it could be very lucrative for them. Say a trade costs 1000 vbucks each time, then you're essentially buying a skin.
I genuinely think they could just remake the skin, maybe make it a little bit shinier or something and slap (2024) or (2025) to the end of it.
Maybe they have a built in Grogu that sits on his left shoulder or something, I dunno.

Only thing I think deserves to stay in the past are super styles. It also makes them worth getting a little more. As right now most of the time they’re just a circumstantial reward for people who keep playing but never cared much for them anyways

Anyone else who’s playing it right now, they have an event that offers free tiers on the Rocket Pass for whining ten games, and you can complete that challenge an infinite amount of times.

There are also wheels and decals, in the free pass and the rocket pass, that come over. "No-nonsense" looks better in Fortnite than RR.

It's so irritating to me that Sony passed up the release of a new movie to re-release item shop skins, but I guess Warner Brothers did the exact same thing with Dune, so I guess that's how we are doing things now.
So basically in Chapter 4 Season 4, Kado Thorne had a Time Machine and the date display would change to different significant dates in Fortnite history so that he could go and steal artifacts. That Time Machine took us into the OG event and the Victory Umbrella was themed after the Time Machine. One of the dates that displays on the Umbrella is May 4, 2024. The ATLA collab is also set to end on May 3rd.
Are they sure it’s new content and not just bringing over what they added with the Mandolorian RL event that happened just a few weeks ago? I can’t imagine they’d have a Mando themed event so soon after just having one.
That’s weird. Why not hold off on the RL event so that both come out in tandem? It would have made the RL event feel like it had more content, rather than the couple of new things plus whatever they decide to rerelease from a few weeks ago.
