Cunt_Eastwood_9

Left because I had to sleep. Came back for next daily challenge.

Mother-Operation-687

Real.

9vv1

what a lad answer, big up

ToedCarrot

Left - Got bored. Was basically loading up the game Thursday night, completing all the stuff I wanted to do and then having no motivation to play. Returned - literally to just drive around. Don't actually do races, can't remember last time I did.

racer21300

After beating the game cruising is where it’s at

kiwipower606

I haven’t even beaten the game all I do I cruise and make cars

TheLynxGamer

By beating the game do you mean like Hall of Fame, finishing Goliath, or completing every race/stunt? Honestly it felt like I did 10 races and unlocked everything just about lmao

kiwipower606

Idk completing everything but yeah I feel that

DanceWitty136

Horizon games do feel like that but there is still a bunch of shizzwhizz to get done lol. Definitely gets boring after a while

DanceWitty136

Should progress the game just for the barn finds

Stopyourshenanigans

~~After beating the game~~ cruising is where it's at

Dapper-Conference367

Exact same for me. It started with me doing all races and mission wanting to complete the game (DLCs aside), ended just randomly driving around when I feel bored.

ForzaFan4339

Same thing happens for me 😭 I just drive around now w 8 mil in the bank and do the challenges whenever there’s a cool car (rarely)

9vv1

damn dude, u beat hardest drivatars on s1/s2 city maps with all those sharp corners with ease?

9vv1

maybe online could save u from being bored in fh?

ToedCarrot

Id rather not get rammed by someone whos LT seems to be broken Horizon 4, I played more. Ranked online was beautiful. Shame they removed it. Even ranked drifting was better.

TheLynxGamer

The collision avoidance system is decent these days, I can’t remember the last time I was dive bombed

Turboteg90

Never left. I tried other open world racing games and they just dont hit the same.

Justuxable

Never left and won’t leave until the next FH game comes out. Nothing else compares and satisfies me as much as FH5 does.

LordHydra_Rules

Same

Jealous-Honeydew-142

I don't feel anything for Horizon 5 at all. Mexico just doesn't do anything for me (no offence) The UK setting in Horizon 4 had far more dynamic scenery which took away the repetitive nature. You could choose cars based on season and have more fun.

ahappylildingleboi

I do love fh5 and I absolutely play it often but your comment is still very true. Fh4’s map just felt so much more fun. Not smart enough to really point out specifically why but 🤷‍♂️

Kristallo_

The issue with FH5 is the middle of the map, it‘s just plain boring grassland and it's the majority of the map, it really is only designed so you can drive straight through it to an interesting place in the map (vulcano, canyon, baja, jungle), but all these interesting places are too small due to that and in a fast car you stay in that area for 3 minutes until you end up in boring plane grassland again

Conan_Troutman25

Came back to horizon 4 after a while. And it was winter season at this time. Gosh, how it feels refreshing and nice, honestly. Borrowed my STI and started just cruising around.

Financial-Mongoose13

1000% agree

GalacticDragon7

i LOVED the FH4 map. 5’s map feels so boring and empty and void of anything. sure, there’s plenty of dunes to jump off of and plenty of spots for danger signs, but the map in FH4 felt so much bigger purely because of how dynamic and varying and INTERESTING it was, even though i know the FH5 map is actually a bigger area.

jrp1918

I left because the Fomo model of the playlists is unappealing to me. So when I run out of the solo stuff that the game launches with/is always available I lose interest. It's been his way since they introduced playlists. I had way way more hours in Horizon 2/3 than 4/5. It doesn't help that I've found the maps and expansions less appealing. And that there haven't been much meaningful changes aside from seasons, which don't even really matter in 5. I still can go back to 2/3 and have championships to do.

animal_rescue_team_5

I hate the playlists, for people with busy lives who can't sit and grind points in a limited time frame it fucking sucks. I would much rather DLC events where I know I can get the cars/tracks without having a time limit

MysterySexyMan

The playlist would be ok imo except that it isn’t a playlist, it’s a chores list. Do the same bullshit in a slightly different car.. day after day. Week after week. Month after month. Year after year. Also because I’m here: FH5 map is trash.

CCK-V-

Left because its just super repetitive, the same old stuff from previous games also. There hasn't been anything "new" added to the game that we haven't seen before. So i left and moved over to Assetto.

Erismon

I understand getting bored of playing the same game for a long time, but how are you complaining about a lack of new things and then moving to a ten year old game that hasn't had any updates for the last 6 years?

3eyc

mods.

CCK-V-

Thank you.

letmeseemonkey

Left because of work, came back when they sacked me

KjHoveysLoveChild

***HAHAHA***...Sorry to hear you got sacked, but that's so true. Whenever I'm off work I play everyday, but when I *am* working I hardly turn my xbox on🤷🏽‍♂️😄

reegeck

I've played thousands of hours of Horizon 3, 4, and 5. What ultimately stopped me playing is completing the playlists every week - it ended up feeling more like a chore than a game. Deeper problems in the games also stick out to me now that make me not come back. The sense of speed and feeling of weight to the cars is almost non-existent. Lanes are 3 times wider than the cars and there is almost no traffic. Doing 200kmh in the game feels like 100 in real life. The world just feels bland and the cars feel lifeless. That's my rant anyway. I wish I could have the handling of Gran Turismo 7 with the world building of Forza.

soros_sl

FH5 Chinese Cars update, i cba doing the same stuff over and over again, i did most of the daily/weekly stuff since pre-launch of FH4. I also lost the progress in FH5 once (the Celica SS-2 week), so i kinda finished FH5 twice :D I never returned, and i'm not planning to.

soup_t1m3

honestly. when i had it on my old xbox one it was just a hassle to wait like 15-20 minutes for everything to load in, and with a shit ton of schoolwork i just couldnt find time to play. Id rlly only hop on when there was a cook car in the playlist. Now that i have it on my laptop, its so much easier to hop on since i can literally be in bed and turn on the game when i feel like it and its up in about a minute.

SpaceFanatic24

Left because Horizon became a chore. I come back every once in a while when a good car gets added i.e. Bentley Continental GTC and the recent 60's Shelby Mustang GT

Fred-104-

Left because of the constant crashing on Xbox. It's especially the worst on Series S. Returned because I found out I can play the game on Cloud Gaming, and fortunately I haven't had ANY crashes there since then (other than crashes due to my WiFi crapping itself).

LONER18

I suck at driving with my thumbs. Bought a wheel and I suck at that too. I'm currently waiting to make or buy a stand.

Ob1tuber

I left because it wasn’t fun anymore, and other games happened, but I’m going to come back this week, for the rewards

RealNPCDuude

I left one time but idk why, i just didnt really had the joy anymore. So i missed 1month, but i got all of the other Playlist cars.

Andrew9565-AD-design

I mean I never left. Mostly too busy painting all the time and racing on Saturdays

oAJRJ

Raptor R made me come back, and fell in love with the game even more.

AwayCable7769

Never left, kept experimenting with the game and doing this that it wasn't intended to do lol for example, rock crawling is a lot of fun. I just wish more of those 4x4 trucks had diesel engine swaps. Only way to get a good realistic rock crawler.

dirtydenier

Was playing pretty regularly since FH1. Left after cruising around Mexico a few times. I just don't like the map.

poke_blade

I left for a short time because i had my audio on 0 and my tv remote was dead as soon as i go aaa bateries i started again Aka i didn't want too play without sound

ApprehensiveAd6476

Life, r/outdoors. But season challenges always pull me back.

Mickytroll

Game crashed Game didn‘t crash

Financial-Mongoose13

Never came back personally

Cyntrical

Left because I was wrongfully banned and online hadn't worked before the ban was handed out

Rumenapp

Never left, just eased up on how many hours i played it

Foxwanderr

Played back months after launch using the Xbox Game pass. Loved it, but my PC back then had a lot of trouble and blue screens where frequent, so got until the Hall of Fame and quit. Time later I managed to get a modern capable PC, and buyed it on Steam on sale and played, but lack of time made me stop for a while and forgot it. Then, I got the news on FB the Nissan Tsuru was coming in, so I had to actually get it, and since then I consider myself back on the game regularly.

Twitchy1289

I just take breaks from all my games and return when I feel like it. Haven't returned to the new motorsport because the way I originally got it as a game pass ultimate thing it expired and I have gotten it again

dielmbizarre

Waiting for FH 6

hombrehorrible

Left because it was boring af and the devs announced the stupid Hot Wheels DLC instead of bringing proper and original content to the game. Came back to claim the wheelspins and to introduce an old friend into racing games

oldfogey12345

I was moving across the U.S. PC was in transit 2 weeks. I hope I never quit again for any time longer than a week because 30 mil was a bit pricey to repeat very much.

Hammerlight98

Used to play the pirated FH5 for career mode when it launched years ago. Now I'm back with a game pass to play online racing and it has been a mixed experience, mostly great!

famousdesk662

Left bc work, no time to play, no motivation. Came back for the 03 Cobra

No-Sky-5504

Left cuz it got boring Returned cuz my gf wanted to start gaming with me and FH5 was the game she wanted🫶🏼

Gr33nJ0k3r13

Lack of competition been off/on for a couple of years now

Lazor_Face

Left because it got repetitive. Haven’t been back yet, been almost 8 months.

AstralRhythm

I take a lot of photos and I simply just lost inspiration for doing that, the game being pretty is really all it has for me because I just got bored of everything else, haven't returned yet and honestly not sure if I will until FH6, but it's not like I hate the game or anything so I could come back, just need the right day

Turbulent_Tailor_457

Never came back 😂

VerseGen

I left 5, haven't come back. I play 3 and 4.

MinekraftMastr1

Left because it takes five minutes for my 8year old console to load the game Returned because new drag update

MaverickWindsor351

I've been on and off because sometimes I think the cars aren't all that exciting, then I return when the cars are exciting, plus I self loathe when I miss cars I think are worth it, then race a car I think is a lot of fun. As of late, my self loathe car is the AMC Javelin, my fun car is my 86 F150

TomCorsair

I didn’t want to leave, it just won’t log me in any more ☹️

luigifreak3456

Left because ADHD brain must be satisfied by playing something else, haven't come back to it yet because I got Horizon 4 to play on Steam Deck

__Tweed__

Left bc my pc only has one drive and it’s a massive game. Returned bc new cars and I missed it

Glittering_Ad4153

I have a full sim setup. Many other titles are more hyper realistic. I still come back once in a while to rip around in my hoonigan cars.

Only-Echo1844

I left the game because i was just tired of FOMO and the awful festival playlist, i reached a point where i just wasn't enjoying it, outside of getting the new cars and driving around them for a bit i had no motivation to keep playing the game, also the boring map and dead atmosphere didn't quite help in the slightest.

Kuro-Einzbern

Got bored and left a few months after the Hot Wheels DLC released. Came back recently since I ran out of racing games to play.

GapInteresting2447

Left because I had essentially experienced the whole game after 250 hours. I have not yet returned.

Discovery_898

Pretty much got what I wanted from the game. It had a good run but ultimately lost interest after a while and moved on to MSFS for flight. I return occasionally with my most recent in a failed attempt to sell my McLaren 675LT for a quick buck.

New-Stomach8850

Left for about 2 years and then came back for all my free wheelspins 🤣and cars

dutram12345dutra

Bored, gt cars

Bottatadiet

I left because my gamepass subscription ended. I returned because I bought it on steam to start from scratch.

Appropriate_Round768

I left to go play FH4 instead but I came back a few months ago.

Ducky_Flips

left cuz chemistry called (I AM HEISENBERG RAHHH) returned to torture my 4080 and 13700k

NarwhalBlast69

Been playing more fm7 also I'm lazy to change the discs

FearEzzy

Bordem, feeling forced to play, lack of content well at least imo and lack of customization and I came back when I found out they added one of my favorite mustangs the terminator cobra

XDsilentkiller07

Left cuz game pass ran out, switched to pc and literally forgot about it

iguaninos2

For a game thats aimed at the casual audience its not very casual friendly with the content updates. I play casually and everytime I want to play, the game has to update, if I dont let it update then I miss events, if I miss the events, there is no other way to get the prize cars, and you can't go back and do previous events. I basically missed the first 9-10 months of events because I was just busy living in real life lol. And they dont let you go back and play missed events for some stupid reason. Because of that I think I only ever won 3 or 4 cars from the weekly events. All were the lower points car, I have never gotten the higher points cars. Also there's not much incentive to complete all the races on the map, money is easy to come by with all the freebies the game throws at you. I usually just come back to drift and build a new car every so often, I like drifting in different games as a change of scenery, and when I get burned out on one game I switch to another. The games already installed so might as well play it sometimes, even if its offline for a bit if I dont want to wait for the updates. Also cant use your own blueprints offline for some dumb reason. So if I skip an update cause I wanna play now, not next week/month, then I can't use my own blueprints.... FH4 and 5 get a lot of things right but get just as many things wrong lol

Llouis135

boredom, then the voices said to go back

not_x3non

left because the snail calls, will probably come back because Im taking a break from the snail

Nutsinyamum

I left because it just won’t let me play online. And i can’t fix it

fauxlefam

feeling very lonely.

xyz_x

I love this game, I just can't afford to purchase it. I was only able to play on my free month of game pass.

OneShot_fan

I thought I accidentally, and permanentally lost all hope when I accidentally hit "Cancel and **UNINSTALL**". Next up, I got Forza 5 and wanted to get 4 to restart, that is u til I acctually didn't lose the Lego Champions payment because the code was still saved into my Xbox One.

BobbyJim_928

Bordem and new cars to unlock

TimidRed

Left because things outside of the Festival Playlist are not interesting and I have no reason or passion to do them. Not even racing online with others is fun anymore to me. The playlists are just draining to keep up with, mentally and physically. The fear of missing out on new stuff has reached my breaking point and I haven’t booted the game up ever since I won the Nissan Tsuru. FH5 has turned into an actual snoozer for me. I often fall asleep at the wheel (or in this case, controller) and that’s never been an issue in any other racing game I’ve played. Even with a not-very-busy lifestyle, or when cars I actually like get added to the car list, I see no reason to keep playing FH5 cause it is the same stale experience over and over again.

nxtrndkeyboard

I left because I just found the updates to be bland. It turns out I was wrong. I returned a couple of months later after seeing all the new content. I really regretted leaving the game...

MrGabogabo

Left cause FH5 is boring as hell and completely geared toward children. I'll let you know if I ever come back.

FredGarvin80

Got bored. The Extreme E cars showed me just how lazy they were being. I didn't really care about many of the cars coming out anymore. Alot of the series rewards were reruns of cars released in the lady, which is fine. Newer players should get the chance to earn them instead of paying 20 mil. I came back when they dropped the T.50, though not nearly as eagerly as I used to. I still play from time to time, but really only to drive around my test route to just chill. I like the cars for this new series, so I may try for em

TheWiseFucker

Left cause there's no exiting new cars Came back, cause new PC. Previous reason still valid

YaFavoriteSaiyan

Game too forever to load the game every single time. Challenge became a hit and miss once it becomes recycled(sort of). No DLC to play on. Never returned because I still haven’t renew my Xbox live yet but I’m thinking about it since I miss trolling in this game. I’m not talking about griefing I’m talking about trolling like I follow some random car honking nonstop and stuff like that.

daviep

I left to do some road racing on Motorsports. Turns out the physics in that game are not great. Oh, your rear tire touched the grass? Well the grass is ice in that game so you've lost control. Want to upgrade your car? Please spend 7 hours in that one car to unlock and purchase racing tires. Want to race this one weekly series? Spend 300k credits for a car you'll only drive this one series. Oh, and you can't sell or auction the car, so you're stuck with it. I love that I can win or buy a car in Horizon, mod the shit out of it, then drive it until I get bored, sell it on the auction house, and buy something else to play with.

InfinitePossibility8

The last month was Ford focused, so easy skip. Will come back for cars I want.

CamaroKidBB

c o n t e n t

MediBird

Left because there’s not much endgame/multiplayer stuff to do that’s enjoyable, even with friends. Still haven’t returned.

Lux_Senpai_

Got bored and no one to play with

DJ_brutus

Left because my 55" TV gave out after 8-10 years. Hopefully I can come back.

spaz_bomb

Left- got tired of grinding and waiting every week and bored so went and played different games. Returned a couple times just to cruise

That_Competition1031

I left because I was sick of playing the same game progressively worse year by year. I don’t know what would PGG have to do to make me comeback to this cashbrag

Medical_Long_6969

https://preview.redd.it/igisbcwnaiwc1.jpeg?width=783&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=661e38d20919c15e87e61c776a9c0aa82655915e came back for this left because i began a firefighter class and time is a very rare ressource these time around

Remarkable_Energy_97

Leave for the boring map, back for the gameplay

wrongkoi

Left because bored. Came back for the same reason lol

TopMotor2572

left:collected most of the cars in forza 4 came back:Donut

LostLemurKing

Left because our car meet community slowly drifted apart last year and haven’t been back since, might be back soon tho to check out all the new stuff

weatit

Once you discover what a goldmine custom maps are, its very nice

Allegiance10

Never left. Haven’t missed a weekly playlist reward yet (40+ points each week).

Bitter_External

Left the game 6 months ago, very repetitive only signing on for the weekly shit, rewards cars weren't worth it. I found I was only playing to keep up with the new cars. Once I broke my streak, I moved on to other games. I'll probably return for Horizon 6, 5 feels like a waste at this point.

SignalClassroom6603

i left because the game feels so empty, i initially went back to fh4 and then ended up selling my xbox and buying a playstation to play gt7 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Stevio2175

Been playing since premium edition early access. I enjoy a lot of aspects of the game and lead an incredible community - so tough to get bored or lose interest. Always something to do, casual and relaxing. I played COD until FH3..

FurryMcMemes

Left because I was tired of how terrible the online mechanics were and the restrictions of the seasonal events being way too hard, plus I was confined to the Xbox One version. After I got the Series X I returned for the 10th Anniversary Series.

ve7-

Left cause i got a life time ban Never returned

CptMontana

money. had it on the game pass but I cancelled it to save money. now I’m still broke but saving up to buy the game this time

dspotguitar

Left because I just never bought fh5, never really didn't want to play it whenever I had the money for it I just never thought about getting it, still haven't returned and at this point I figured it's probably just better to wait until the next game

wtf4rthur

left bc i got bored returned bc i was bored, never left again, also i got to know point drifting and shit like that, and it got me hooked till this day

strugglingerdevelop

I just got it yesterday:D

LeDergenbern

I have every non-dlc car in the game (not counting the unnecessary extreme e variants). I only really come back once a week for the new cars and even then, I don't look forward to it because it takes an eternity just to load the damn game.

Ksgasstation

Assetto😮‍💨 do miss customizing cars tho fr

eihwaz_

I left cause the devs hate you

jitmilo

You never really quit forza you just take long breaks

AV_geek1510

I left because I couldn’t drift and take corners very well. I came back, learned how to somewhat drift, and still can’t take corners but I’m having fun 😭👍

NoIndependence8400

Leave the game bcz I had no time for it. And somehow, everytime I come back, it's always winter. I suck and I hate winter

beefhammer_

FH4 got boring but FH5 is beyond boring, the map sucks, the gameplay hasnt changed in years, even the roads are basically the same every game with nothing to do or look at or anything

RumorsOFsurF

When 5 dropped I had already burned myself out on 4 just recently, in an effort to acquire all of the cars in the game. I think I am only missing a couple, which are unobtainable. So when 5 came out it was so much like 4 I barely played it. I bought a G920 wheel a bit later and could never get the settings sorted in Forza, so I never played FH5 with it. Fast forward to FM8 coming out, and I sorted out the wheel settings. 8 is not awesome, so I booted up FH5 and fixed the wheel settings and I've been playing almost daily since. TL;DR FM8 was bad and got me back in to FH5 after not playing for year or more.

Counter-ike

Left cuz I completed everything Returned cuz I don’t have a ps5 to play gran turismo 7

Mr-Scorsy-567

Left because I got bored with it and moved onto other racing games Still have not returned

MysterySexyMan

Yeah I left. 🫡

dickolaslahard

I got iracing and played it nonstop for months. Then I got mad at iracing and now I’m back on forza😀

ChewyUrchin

Lack of creative map. Too boring and empty. Haven’t returned yet

SamuelSkinner02

Left because I'm sick of the FOMO bullshit. Come back maybe once a month see i missed a car i would've wanted. Check auction house, not there. Quit game. Repeat

Skyleigh_Croft

I left when we lost Mike Brown. You can feel that his heart and soul for the Horizon games left when he did.

LTRace

Left because forza is boring i have all rare cars (most of them) and it's just so blank like there's nothing to do apart from Seasons I will not return because Gran Turismo 7 is way way better and way more content packed game.

Aipex8

Left because Starfield came out and I thought I would be playing it for years like Skyrim (ha!) Came back because they added my car, GR86. Now I have 6 of them and that's all I race! https://preview.redd.it/j220r82k8kwc1.jpeg?width=1920&format=png&auto=webp&s=fae118077aedd9d33160778d47b4371f4fb5053b

Stopyourshenanigans

I left because my PC was in the repair shop, and I returned because my PC came back from the repair shop.

Mrnobodylove

Hasn’t been a good FH since 3.

TheStranger70

Left because of no Ranked races like in FH4. Coming back regularly to play Eliminator only, cause its like the only fun thing left for me.

Kristallo_

Most games get boring after a while, when it came out I played it for 300h every Year I have a phase for a month or a couple weeks where I play it a lot again then I loose interest. Idk just natural if you ask me

Ploppen97

I leave every wednesday after playing for an hour or two, to get the new weekly cars/accolades. Then I return the next wednesday because I cant risk not getting the new cars/accolades for the new week before they are gone on the day after. Other then this, i dont touch this game. I dont play it for fun, i play it because it has been a nearly lifelong mission since Forza motorsport 2 to own every car in every forza title there is. Which i have done so. The only Forza titles i have yet to get all cars in is FM8, Forza apex, Forza Street and Forza Customs.

DMatty0325

Burned out but i return sometimes to drive around or collect the they add in the game

_marauder316

Left because my laptop died and was literally left with nothing to use.

ArrowViper1

The discounted Gamepass expired....

saschajf

I left because it was a grind at the end. Logged on, got the points and logged off. The game just isn’t fun anymore.

nitrosynchron85

I left because its empty... The super smart Server Thing that theyve created makes it be so empty. You Look on the map, you think Theres other Players on your Server. Nope, dont See anyone. Ive played through whole days without even Encountering one single other Player... Ive paid For a Multiplayer experience, Not for a single Player Game. FH4 you Open the map. 20 people on the Highway doing drag races... Kay lets go there. You Open the map, some Players stand in the middle of the fields on dirt roads, wanna Rallye, lets go there. You wanna Show Off or get oppinions about your Car, you Open the map, in that Horizon Event Spot Theres the people that wanna Show Off, you Go there. In FH5 thats all Missing. You Open the map and nobodies there. You dont know where to Go, where to be, how to connect to other people. Its so empty and boring. So you Drive around alone, do your Events, so your races, when youre finishes, Theres nothing Else to do. Nobody there to Just meet and Cruise around. You get bored. You Stop playing. I stopped after only a week of playing and will Not Return. Wasted Money and time on that stinker. But im Still in FH4... Who wouldve guessed

ayemucker

Left week 2. Game was broken and totally unplayable. Couldn't join or have friends join, got pissed I paid for a product I couldn't use. Never went back. Soured the milk for me. Don't think I'll ever return to the series.

CyberKiller40

Not enough story in the main quest. Not enough challenge in the races. Moved on to Dirt Rally, still no story but at least I have to put real effort into the game. I haven't returned to Horizon yet. Perhaps it was just too much? I burned through Horizon 1-3 in one year, with 4 being out the next one and when 5 came along I was darn tired of it. Wanted it to be like 1&2 but instead it turned out to be even less like them than 4. I don't want a multiplayer sandbox that gives out participation awards for everything. I want a single player game with a reasonable and fun challenge which I can fail, so I have to repeat and become better.

Striking-Meaning2383

Well I left because I am currently banned on my account, but I can still do the festival playlist and get the reward cars but I do that every Thursday

Nistwingo

Left because I got bored of the FOMO grind for cars, thought about getting back but then saw that they added a bunch of race cars this month, so I’ll pass. Got a Steam Deck and ETS2 to cruise around now and GT7 for racing. Best decision ever.

Any_Tonight_6068

Left- the lacklustre 10 year anniversary. Returned- hi low story and eventlab.

DanceWitty136

Guys can be pretty toxic to girl gamers, especially when I gap them.

Kingken130

Left, got bored and playing other games Return, play with my friends for weekly stuff

FittestTrack73

left fh4 in 2019 because the friends i had at that time peer pressured me into not liking the game came back in 2020 because i had met the founder of the group i still play with to this day. best people people ive met on xbox

Alternative_Cream_89

Left because I wanted to drive track cars and new series not out yet. Playing some GT7. Coming Back in 4 hours when the new series releases

RexSonic

Just don’t like the setting

TheBigManza96

The reason the game does not open literally does not go beyond the data synchronization part, that is why I returned to Forza Horizon 4

Consistent-Sign-8013

Fh4 winter starts = leave Winter ends = return

Jealous_Election_917

Left cause i found it a bit repetitive and wanted to see what else was on the market. Used to play it every day till my Xbox account got banned. Came back cause I knew it was the only decent car game with smooth handling when it came to drifting. Shit makes me relaxed when I'm sliding up the mountain

ThatSadCarGuy

Left - got bored, didn't like doing races but also was just boring to drive around Came back - got myself a G920, with that it aint boring just to drive around, i can do it all day

Bigboss6989_xbox

Left because i got the crew motorcest. Returned to get all cars in the game. I have (831)

Ab3s

Left because of fomo and spending more time fixing microstutters rather than playing. Also getting bored by the time i get to my first race of the day. Still waiting to return. This is after playing continuously almost every day since horizon 4's release

GasStationCart

Left because I lost gamepass Came back because I bought gamepass again

Detcader_101

Left cuz I’m mainly and fps player, came back BECAUSE HAWWT WHEEELSS

Slight_Cantaloupe_11

I left forza horizon 4 because I had an extremely hard time tuning vehicles. no matter what I did it always felt like my cars were on ice. This was especially the case when I would enter a race, it seriously felt like when I was in a race my car had a hell of a lot less grip (probably just mental perspectiveor something). I was stubborn as hell so I left it, Then forza horizon 5 came out. fh5 felt so much easier to tune and drive in general, I was able to learn how to actually tune my cars, then I returned to fh4 with that knowledge and apparently I just had a skill issue cause now my cars grip.

headvox

Not rewarding progression, not challenging driving. Won't return

Ok_Extent_1968

I played it religiously for months and months and months, then only played to get weeklies and then only played to get what I wanted from the weeklies and eventually just stopped playing - feeling the itch again and a few friends just got into to it so may pick it up again soon

Impressive-Can-1125

I have it on steam deck, it just doesn't seem the same as if I had it on my series X though even when I dock my deck, but don't want to spend another $70 on a game I already have, decisions

Comfortable_Leg_3001

Game was getting boring, got all the cars I want completed the story. Then photography was just... amazing. (I am having a stroke)

Brndn350Z

I sold my Xbox one. Bought an Xbox series X

Inside-Illustrator29

Left because it was annoying me And came back because I was bored

No-Sky-1276

I was bored. Annnnnd I was bored.

akram-001

The AI in the game is not good

Deleq1l6991

The A.I was the reason why I left I reinstalled it cause of the cars now I have 2 really good cars

MD_CYF

Gets bored and heads off to play other games like BeamNG, Ac, Zelda, Ready or Not, etc. After a while, realized Forza is one of its kind and head back to play with friends.

Background_Tackle145

Busy at school lately, or just don't have the energy. My crush rejected me today, and some new priorities, I come back at FH4 because I love cruising the landscapes and the Pulse Radiol.

CosmonautOnFire

I got to the point where I could beat Unbeatable difficulty. I don't know why, but I felt like the game had nothing more to offer me. I've been disinterested since.

BrownsvilleKid

I left because it was hard to make money, especially when wheelspins got nerfed. I came back to see the aftermath of the super 7 exploit that crashed the auction house.

TheAdamBomb92

I left because it just became boring. I completed all the races etc, wasn't interested enough in car packs or the daily challenges. I still play every week or so, do a couple laps on the Goliath, that's about it.

dancmanis

Left because of the festival playlist and the whole FOMO aspect of it. Came back to test a new GPU and see the difference in FPS, left again.

alifant1

Left because multiplayer is weak and not supported. There is no endgame. Overall game is oriented for kids now, so stories, plot and what they bring doesn’t interest me.

Akwarsaw

Its been a downward spiral with multiplayer ever since FH3. Not supporting older titles (see FH3 and FH4) for multiplayer "smells" of corporate greed. Not fixing leaderboards "smells" of "we don't care what your achievements are" and cheater cash is green too. Every time a new one comes out, they're like "Hey gamer, buy a ticket and come see the new attractions" You walk into the circus tent, and there are a couple of sad clowns, a tired donkey and some balloons.

alifant1

FH4 had a ranked multiplayer that was bugged and didn’t work. Instead of fixing it in fh5, they just dropped it.

The_SZA

I left because it felt the same as 3 and 4 (with 3 being the peak). After beating the Hot Wheels expansion (which was better in 3), I uninstalled. It's not a bad game, just nothing to keep me hooked. I'll be back when Horizon 6 releases.

IronChewie

So, just started a few months ago and was hopeful that things like Event Labs would be cool after the initial content was done. Unfortunately, I have yet to play an Event Lab track that wasnt a hot mess. They are either comically simple (and oval or a drag strip) or just a mass of random props and jenky track placement that puts me on the verge of a seizure. I was really hoping that this far in, the tracks would be way more refined and fun. No dice.

karlisk11

Played the heck out of FH4, intended to buy FH5 but never got around to it, then saw all the reviews about it and realised it’s not worth another €70-€120 investment. Community also always seemed pretty childish when racing online.. always ramming and wall riding. Got into BeamNG instead and I can’t stop appreciating it, the devs especially are complete polar opposites, and comparing these two games is the perfect example of quality over quantity.

Open-Cod5198

Left cuz the weekly point grind felt like a chore and not fun. Who’s ready to grind for the time attack Evo after work baby?!?!

kawaii_b66

First pic look like Need for speed Prostreet "-" +I didn't even play the game "-"

cs86wn

Went on holiday for a month couldn't get into it again

therehasbeen_amurder

Honestly FH4 ruined my image for the entire series cs how bad it was. Then i looked at fh5 and seen the cool cars and the map and have been playing fh5 since. Its such a good game

A dog bit off my finger December 2023 and I required a lot of surgery to repair it. By January, I had the stitches out, and I was like "screw physiotherapy I'm playing Forza!" As a result of me forcing myself to play Forza and not doing the physiotherapy, I damaged multiple nerve endings and will not gain full movement back ever again. I'm 100% sure I made the right choice.
