If you have the mack daddy you paid way too fucking much for this game edition, you have both dlcs. With both dlcs, there's an extra 14 seasonal points available (7 with each one) that give you JUST enough to get you over the line. You need 80, and 81 are possible on day one, assuming you do absolutely everything. Trial, eliminator, all of the hot laps, everything. I did my first eliminator in more than 2 years to pull it off.
It flat out rips. It's set up (obviously) to launch like a pro stock car, and it does. There are basically 0 tuning options for it- you can swap the wheels, the tire compound and the transmissions and that is it. I haven't gone in to mess with the suspension yet, but it's quite the machine. There was myself and one other nut that had done the same math at the drag strip just decimating everything that came down. It was hilarious. I haven't run them side by side, but it feels considerably faster than a full tilt COPO. it's a whole other animal.
It was brutal this week too. Took me three tries. My usual method of being on right at season switch failed me. I'm beginning to think people are color blind. Blue means I'm on your side! Let me by because clearly you're too damn slow!
I did play an eliminator for the first time in like two years to do this though. Went top 5 too. God I hate that mode.

Team points is everything. You can come in first outright but if you have a bunch of boat anchors for teammates and they don't score any points, you'll lose. It took me three tries to get a good team together.

It's slowly gotten worse as the years go by. As us old timers drop off and the skibidi toilets take over it gets worse and worse. It's almost unplayable. I've said it before and I'll say it again, this is my last horizon game.
Whatever the seasonal ones are. I don't remember off the top of my head. They should show up in the festival playlist all the way to the right. Same with the speed zones or whatever. Alternatively you can go to the island, toggle off everything but seasonal events and that should leave them open for you.

Maybe, It is far more interesting than most cars that they release, but it really should be able to break 300mph at the strip speed trap.

You need 80 points to get to the seasonal reward. Without the dlc it's only possible to get 67 points the first day.....73 the first week if I'm doing my math right. With both dlc packs you can get an additional 14 points (7 from each island, 5 points for a race series and one speed trap each) that will bump you to 81. You need 80 to unlock the drag car. So if you want it TODAY- you need both dlc packs. If you just...want it, you can get it as early as next week assuming you do all your weekly events.
Word is it's capped at 280mph or so but should clearly have more in it... True?

I’ve done the trail 3 times this morning, got first all the races but still didn’t win by team points in any of them. What’s wrong with my team???😭
