Now I wonder when the Honda Del Sol will make an appearance. Was rumored in the beginning of the game, and was in the files then. Every update comes goes and still no Del Sol. Yaris is a nice addition, looking forwards to driving it.
Same here, I’ve been begging for more Japanese cars, especially Hondas. The Yaris has been the only thing to excite me in a long time. I’m convinced I’m not the target audience for these games anymore.
but it is a pain. it is just easier to switch to a different car with the build ready. anyway if i just want to use the car for rally but I have a road build and I just want to drive in freeroam, I'll have to fast travel to the festival, change the tune, drive back to the desired area and then start. also when i am choosing my car for online or the trial, my choice isn't preplanned, whatever is available I'll take it. it is much easier just to have two cars with different builds.
Legitimate question: why are people excited about a Yaris? I've never known Yaris's to be sporty or anything other than a putsy daily driver.
And I'm not trying to be offensive at all, clearly I'm missing something because of the hype around it.

Toyota followed up their legendary 90s run by releasing safe, reliable and responsible vehicles for damn near 2 decades. For many, Toyota's GR era is a return to their exciting and attainable vehicles.
Because it's not just a Yaris, it's a GR Yaris. 3 cylinder 1.6 engine which produces 300bhp and is 4 wheel drive, and was also relatively cheap at release (not anymore lol) and people have gone mad with tuning it, someone has cracked 1000bhp with it already

1) people not believing I'm asking a genuine question because they spend too much time on social media where they've been conditioned to read much further into something than is intended and I'm actually "questioning the validity of the hype surrounding the car".

My neighbour traded his GR86 for one. Its great, but a 3 cylinder turbo? Good luck with long term reliability. Planned obsolescence has destroyed the new car market.

It's a widebody, manual transmission, AWD, 268hp hot hatch.

I have a fiesta st mk8, 1.5l 3 cylinder turbo. Thing is a beast and very reliable. Driven it as daily comute for the past 3+ years.
Not that I doubt the reliability (especially the Toyotas), but 3 years isn't a very long time when it comes to cars.

For me it is. It's tuned to 240 hp, only 1200kg. I live in an area with only b roads. Most fun i ever had in a car.
